Send automatic email to Parents that Online Enrollment is Incomplete.
Email sent from Aeries to P/G email when an online enrollment has been set to Incomplete.
Currently staff are emailing or calling parents when their online enrollment is incomplete. We are talking hundreds of calls or emails at the moment. It would be great if Aeries would allow an automatic email generation for this. Thinking something like when a portal account has been created.
Just looking for a way to send out a generic email to slap them in the face to say 'do it right.....please'. ;)

Unrelate staff record if record is closed and not for current year
Currently, if a staff record contains any field entry for a school (whether closed or not) it will show up under that school as "related to that school."
I.E. Staff member has a primary school (STF.PSC) of 223 and has an STJ record that has an end date in 2019 for school 221 (STJ.SCL) and a current year open STJ at school 223 (STJ.SCL). In the Staff listing, on the staff page with "Only records related to this school" checked, this staff member will show up in the list for school 223 AND 221 even though the 221 record is…

College Articulations - Allow more Courses
Please update the College Articulation table in Aeries to process multiple course numbers. Currently, it is only looking for a single course #. We have districts who are using multiple course numbers per school year: e.g., HR7131 = Fall, HR7132 = Spring, or HR7130 = 1 Semester Course. Also, we have combined courses (up to 4 course numbers) that requires students to complete before they earn the college credit. Please allow up to 4 possible course #’s.

Attendance Management - Mass Add Attendance Notes Without Absence
Currently, the Attendance Management screen can add absences with or without notes, but you cannot do the inverse and add only notes without an absence code. Since we are using notes to track engagement, this means that clerks have a difficult time adding notes for classes.

Custom Reports - support Excel formatting
Please consider adding an option to remove additional lines, per student record, when delivering a Custom Report in Excel format. For example, when a Custom Report is generated in PDF format, it seems to place test dates on a line just below the score; when generating the report in Excel format, it seems to do this as well.

The state requires the attached report for preschool classes but there isn't one like it in Aeries.

Teachers Page - Default to "Hide Inactives" and Sort by Name
Make Teacher page default to "Hide Inactives" and sorted by Name -
I almost never want to view staff sorted by their ID number and rarely need to reference info for Inactive teachers/staff, so the Teachers page would be much more user friendly if the defaults were to sort by name and hide inactives.

Add a field for Old First Name and Old Last Name in the LSI table, for reference, when there has been a legal name change.

CALPADS SENR ODS Process and the "Adult Age Students with Disabilities in Transition Status" Indicator
The CALPADS SENR ODS Process needs to be adjust for field 1.34 "Adult Age Students with Disabilities in Transition Status" Indicator when students have an exit date in the Special Ed Exit date field (CSE.XD) during the current school year and the CALPADS SENR ODS file has "Y" for field 1.34. Currently the process is changing the "Y" to an "N" if the student has an exit date in the Special Ed Exit date field (CSE.XD) during the current school year.

Auto/Mass Create Portal Accounts as a Scheduled Process
Add the Mass Create Portal Accounts as a scheduled process. Rather than create the user when SEM is entered. Our district runs a query daily that auto-populates this field to ensure accuracy.

Aeries should validate addresses according to USPS address standards. To accept abbreviations such as SPC, UNIT, etc

Add username or parent name to Data Confirmation Log
It would be great, for auditing purposes, to add a username or parent name field in the Data Confirmation Log table.
Right now we can only see table name and date/time of the update, but not WHO updated it during PDC.

Query - Show Saved Query Name and Allow Query to be Re-Saved with Same Name
When a saved query is opened, show the query name on the screen. If changes are made to the query allow the query to be saved using the same name instead of creating a new name.

I would like to request that a field be added to the Demographic Table or the Special Education Table to allow us to tag the name of the Case Carrier for our Special Education Students.

District Attendance Letters - Prevent timeouts and make the process more efficient
There are 2 issues with District Attendance Letters:
1. Generating letters are displaying the warning symbol and are timing out
2. Opening the Completed letters is timing out at the school level. Completed letters can be opened at the district level.21 votes -
SMS Text Confirmation Option for Portal Acct Creation
When creating an account some parents have issues with the email confirmation process. It would be great if there was an option for Text Message Confirmation instead of email.

Define required Fields for STF table
This is a request that the Define Required Fields page include the STF table. There are certain fields that are required when submitting a staff record up through CALPADS (such as Race, Ethnicity, etc.) and I often find many of my districts forgetting to fill this in when they add a staff member. The ability to define certain fields as required before they can save a staff record would be helpful.
