Clarifies that LEAs providing traditional independent study must document time value in hours or fraction of an hour for both work products and time spent in computer-based programs (Education Code (EC) Section 51747.5(b)(2)(A)(ii)).
The documentation of time value in increments of an hour or fraction of an hour must occur before converting the associated time to a day of average daily attendance (ADA) but is not required to be done on an hour-by-hour basis.
30 votesWe are tracking info from the CDE on what the changes for Attendance Accounting will be for the various types of instruction covered by AB 176. As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

I'm seeing if it would be possible to add .CSV as an export option for Aeries Queries.

Expanded Learning Opportunities ELOP - a page to track services for the ELOP students, as needed to report to the State.
A page to track the services that UPP students are receiving throughout the school out the school. I see in the Aeries Documentation that Texas has this page, and I think other districts would benefit tremendously from having this. I know in California we need it! It will help with reporting state information to see and compare how it relates to the funding we receive.

Create an Import Process for ASVAB
The CA Dept of Ed is beginning to ask for ASVAB information. They are evaluating it for possible future use in CCI's. Can Aeries create an import routine to import this information into the TST (Test Scores) or CTS (College Test Scores) tables?
64 votesIf schools have electronic files with ASVAB scores from both 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years, it would help speed up the process if you could send them to us so the developers can use them to create an import process. Add Section and Staff ID to the Course History Transcripts page for Mass Add Records
We always use the "Mass Add Records" on the transcript screen, but now find we need the "Section" and "Staff ID" fields that are only available when you use "Add 1 Record" choice. Currently we have to go back into each line on the transcript to add the information to these fields. It is very time consuming.

Is it possible to disable the "Nick Name" (First Name Alias) Field in Aeries Online Enrollment?

District Attendance Letters - Prevent timeouts and make the process more efficient
There are 2 issues with District Attendance Letters:
1. Generating letters are displaying the warning symbol and are timing out
2. Opening the Completed letters is timing out at the school level. Completed letters can be opened at the district level.17 votes -
Online Enrollment - Finish translating to Spanish
Finish translating to Spanish words that are displaying in English when logged in as Spanish. I updated to the newest version of Online Enrollment, and was hoping it would have resolved these translation issues. I believe at least one item did get fixed, but the rest still remain.

When importing students from Online Enrollment warn user when required fields are empty
When office staff are importing students from Online Enrollment it would be helpful if Aeries stopped them from saving the student record if required fields are not populated.

Parent Data Confirmation and Medical Insurance
Be able to capture health insurance information and to populate the fields for Health Insurance Name and Student Medical Record Number/Policy Number in the Medical Insurance Page in Parent Data Confirmation.
In addition, Please add the following fields to the Medical Insurance Page: Medi-Cal True/False checkbox, Medi-Cal #, DHCS Confirmation Number, and Primary Care Physician.

District Asset Report - Add More Fields
Can the District Asset report include more fields. We use the DRI.CD to track broken devices. Or could the Locked field of DRI.ST have additional code to be added?
