Golden State Seal or Other Graphics and Information on Transcript
Is it possible to have custom graphics or text placed on student transcripts when they qualify? Our admin let me know that the Golden State Seal is going to be provided electronically this year and would like to automatically print that on transcripts. "Since users are able to add the ACT record to the Things to Print on the Transcript, adding a custom graphic would require an enhancement (Aeries Idea) to the Transcripts"

We are seeking clarification from the CDE to determine the scope of this work. Be advised the solution will require the use of the single-column enhanced transcripts in order to allow room for the visual printing of the seal(s). CAPSDAC Phase 2
On 3/6/25 CAPSDAC announced Phase 2 of their data collection, which will greatly expand the type of data collected for PreSchool students. There will be multiple new files, similar to CALPADS. We will be meeting with them to try and get the layouts once they are finalized, so we can program it into our system. Please subscribe to this idea if you wish to be informed about the progress.
21 votesWe are using the latest data layout to plan the extracts necessary for this feature, even though they layouts are not final yet. We will keep you informed of the process towards development.

Clarifies that LEAs providing traditional independent study must document time value in hours or fraction of an hour for both work products and time spent in computer-based programs (Education Code (EC) Section 51747.5(b)(2)(A)(ii)).
The documentation of time value in increments of an hour or fraction of an hour must occur before converting the associated time to a day of average daily attendance (ADA) but is not required to be done on an hour-by-hour basis.
44 votesWe are tracking info from the CDE on what the changes for Attendance Accounting will be for the various types of instruction covered by AB 176. As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

Authentication with Microsoft Azure AD Services
We are making the migrating Microsoft Azure AD Identity Services (along with a host of other Azure services: SSPR, biometric sign-in, MFA, one-drive, and more, oh my!). It would be beneficial to all teachers, staff, and administrators to have an AZURE AD option enabled to allow quick seamless sign-in to Aeries portals. The google integration works great, but we are moving away from google.
THE WHY - The feature would enable a smoother sign in process for end users and promotes a more secure environment for district technology departments.
NOTE: I am not saying Aeries SIS is not secure, only…
27 votesWe are actively exploring an authentication solution that will support this request. As soon as this item has officially moved to the development phase, we will update the idea accordingly so you are aware of the anticipated quarter of release.

District Asset Report - Add More Fields
Can the District Asset report include more fields. We use the DRI.CD to track broken devices. Or could the Locked field of DRI.ST have additional code to be added?
4 votesThis idea is being changed from Started to Researching, as the recent updates to the District Resource Items grid will now require a separate follow-up for the Reporting functions.
