Parent Ed Level in Contacts - Allow Required for Parent/Guardian Only
Parent Ed Level and Required fields: Please tie the 'Required' status of the con.elv field to only be required if the con.cd field matches the selected fields in District Settings: "Codes Identifying Parent/Guardian in Contacts (CON.CD)". So, if we choose to make the con.elv a required field -- it will only be required when the cd = those in district settings.

Remove 0 as a Contact Order Value
Currently, the top Contact record defaults to Contact Order 0. It should default to 1 and the order should update in all subsequent records from there.

Emergency or other Friend Contact
It would be helpful if a parent can add an emergency or friend contact without having all of the other options such as portal, email, and attendance notifications display. So basically if a parent chooses a relationship as an emergency or friend then all of the other options disappear.

Make Contact Linking More Intuitive
When using Contact linking it is unclear in the pop up that you are choosing for both primary contact 1 and primary contact 2 regardless of which contact you are trying to link. For example, you are on primary contact 2 and you get the same pop up window as you do on primary contact 1, you might think you are only linking numbers for primary contact 2 and have the option to link two numbers for contact 2, when in reality you are overwriting your contact 1 selection if you put anything in the top box.

Have Ed Rights Holder value display on Contact Record whether it's 'Yes' or 'No'
Currently, only when the 'Yes' value is selected for Ed Rights Holder will 'Ed Rights Holder' display on the contact record. If the value is blank or 'No,' Ed Rights holder does not display so for someone who does not have edit access to Contact records, they cannot determine whether the Ed Rights Holder value is blank or 'No.'

Auto hide deceased contact in Aeries
If a parent is tagged as deceased, instead of deleting data which is a horrible practice, can the 99 tag auto hide from the parent and student accounts.

Admin Button or Feature to Reset Emergency Contact Order
Contact orders are all over the place for most of the district. If there was a way to reset all contact order numbers to their current position, that would be great for integrations we are doing.

Emergency Contacts - Ability to hide aspects of contact info from other parents
For separated parents who want to protect their personal information (address, employer, email, phone number) from the other parent, we need the ability to restrict what parents get to see that won't just hide all contact info from everyone. Basically, we need a way for a parent to see their own info and and maybe just the name/relationship for the other guardians. This will enable parents in these situations to feel safe with providing this important information that we need on file.

Allow Contacts to be Defined at the Family Level
If parent/guardian is updated on sibling, parent/guardian gets updated on all siblings.
Use case: Staff at school site only have access to update contacts at their school site. A contact (ie. Parent/Guardian) is on a sibling record at another school site and we would like to keep the data (f.name, f.name, email, address, all phone #'s) sync'd.

Flag/Pop-up when Email in Contacts and Parent Portal don't match.
Trying to work on Data Validations and Email Addresses. A secretary wanted to know why Aeries doesn't have a pop-up or something if the parent creates a Portal Account with a different email address than what is in Contacts. And, vice versa, if someone adds or changes an email address in Contacts, why doesn't it say Doesn't Match Portal Account email, or something like that. Specifically if the Contacts page is set to Yes for Parent Portal. Geez, I hope that makes sense.

Editing a Linked Contact Record
When trying to edit a linked contact record, in order to save the record, you have to first change the Field Description to None and save. Then you can go back and select the field Description that you want to save and link. Otherwise, the change is not saved on the Demographics Screen.

Contacts - Display Contact Order # on Card
Since the contact order (CON.OR) will be vital for CALPADS primary guardian reporting, it would be nice to have the contact # displayed on the info card in the Contacts page (possibly upper right hand corner).
SINCE any contacts marked as a RED FLAG are displayed at the top, it is difficult to see which contact would the primary, secondary without editing each contact record.
Data entry of the newly required Parent Education level at the contacts level means that our staff will need to review every student's contact information over the next few months to verify that the Parent/guardian…

Contacts - Add Authorized to Pick-Up Field
Add a field to the contacts form indicating who is authorized to pick-up the student. Not all contacts may have this permission and in the event of emergency, this information is very important.

Update STU.PG field and Student Emergency Card Report
The STU.PG field is not needed and difficult to maintain, please consider removing it and replacing this functionality with the following:
Since districts are entering Parent information in CON, that table should house this information and Parents/gGuardians should not be populated in two different fields and tables.
Consider using the CON.CD field to identify the parent/guardian and adding a XRF to the field for CALPADS reporting. Contacts identified with the mapped code will be reported to CALPADS.
- Update the Student Emergency Card to no longer pull the STU.PG field and add an option in the report pull the identified code…

Contacts - Add Separate Mailing and Residence Address
Currently contacts only allows for 1 address field. It would be nice if a 2nd address field could be added to be able to add home address and mailing address. Specifically for students who have parents that live and receive mail at 2 different locations. This would also help line up fields with AERIES and SEIS integration.

Parent Contacts - ParentSquare
We have families turning on notifications for other emergency contacts ( example neighbors ).
It would be amazing if the emergency contact could get access to either accept the record, update their unique record, or remove their unique notification preference for the student not in their family.
Maybe a work flow to send an email to the contact saying: "You have been added to as an emergency contact for "John Smith" at "Eagle High School" . If this is an error, please click here to remove your record ( one-time link that expires after ~7 days ).

Highlight Primary Contact Records and Sort to top of page
The records on the Contacts page should be sorted with "Primary Contact" records at the top of the list.
Also there should be some additional visual distinction to highlight the record. ( Green/yellow box around Primary Contacts , red box around flagged contacts ).
The goal is to have more visual distinction.
