Query: Support District-Level LIST Queries with Multiple Extended/Calculated Fields
What is happening now
When a district-level LIST query includes multiple extended/calculated fields (such as ATTPERC, DISADVANTAGED, SPECIALED, 504PLAN, TITLE1CMIGRANT, HOMELESSPRG, and FOSTER_PRG), the results window opens but never populates. The same query runs successfully at the school level and when limited to a single school. Why this matters
Districts need to identify students who qualify across multiple program areas in a single district-wide pull. The current behavior requires running separate queries per school and manually consolidating results, which is not practical at scale.Impact if unchanged
Districts with large student populations cannot use Query to…2 votes -
Title: Add Insert, Update, and Delete API Support for the TCH (Teachers) Table
Title: Add Insert, Update, and Delete API Support for the TCH (Teachers) Table
Category: API / Integrations
Description:
Currently the Aeries Public API only supports GET requests for the TCH (Teachers) table. There is no ability to insert, update, or delete teacher records via the API.As districts increasingly automate HR workflows through the API, the inability to manage TCH records programmatically creates a significant gap. Specifically:
- When a staff member is offboarded via an automated workflow, their associated TCH record must still be deleted manually in the Aeries UI. This adds manual steps to what is otherwise a fully…

Allow insert Test Scores via the API
As it stands, API permissions only allow for read/update in the test scores table. Without "insert", we'll always have issues with bringing in compatible data from 3rd party vendors (like Renaissance for instance).
Please add this feature, as it will save a lot of admins a fair bit of hassle/extra steps in making this data available to staff & parents.

Filter Attendance Recovery Bank by School Grade Range for Pre-Enrolled Students
The Attendance Recovery Bank currently displays pre-enrolled students whose current grade level falls outside the school’s configured grade range. For example, 6th grade students are appearing in a middle school Attendance Recovery Bank that should only include grades 7–8, and 8th grade students are appearing in a high school bank configured for grades 9–12.
Enhance the Attendance Recovery Bank logic to exclude pre-enrolled students when their current grade level is outside the school’s LOC grade range. This would help ensure the Attendance Recovery Bank only displays students appropriate for that school and reduce confusion during transition periods between elementary, middle,…2 votes -
504 Plans: User input error messages not useful
The 504 page does not correctly handle common user input issues.
If a user enters an Effective Date that is AFTER the End Date, they get the "Unexpected Error" page.
This is NOT helpful for the user. This is a common and likely user input issue and should be displayed as such to them.
Here is the ERR hash: Xvjd29UTcubCH3BsDG/VQA==
Based upon the error, this raises a further issue... in that the error given Does not relate to the actual source (the bad user input). Instead, the error gets lost in the chain of a application mis-configuration (the missing Error…

Enhance EDCS Extract Logic to Filter by Eligibility Code (F/R)
Update the EDCS extract logic to include an additional validation layer. Currently, records are extracted when FRE.SRC is mapped in XRF to identify source codes that will be used for extracting students and FRE.ESD (Eligibility Start Date) is populated.
Enhance this logic to also require that FRE.CD (Eligibility Code) is translated via CALPADS Code Translations to values 'F' or 'R' only.
As a result, only students meeting all three criteria will be included:
Valid FRE.SRC mapping in XRF
Populated FRE.ESD
FRE.CD mapped to CALPADS 'F' or 'R'18 votesHello, I wanted to let you know that development has started on this item, and it will be shipped when testing is completed.

Disable Residence Survey for Adults over 25
We need the option to Disable the Residence Survey for Adult students over the age of 25 since they are not accepted by CALPADS. Per CDE: "A student in the homeless program cannot be over 25 years of age."

Declutter Payment Statement Report / Transactions
Mitigate Excessively long Payment Statement Report. We use Aeries Payments to bill for our afterschool program and students who have been going to afterschool for several years now have a Payment statement multiple pages long with many very old and fully paid off charges still printing on it.
I can see two good ways to achieve this.
The simpler method would be to add more filters, such as an option to not print fully paid charges on the Payment Statement report. This would solve the excessively long report issue but would not clean up the payment transactions themselves.
The more…

Dental Record (DNT) — Untreated Decay and Caries Experience field labels are swapped in Query Builder, Database Definitions, and Update Code
When viewing DNT data in Query Builder, the column labeled "Untreated Decay" displays values that were entered as Caries Experience, and the column labeled "Caries Experience" displays values entered as Untreated Decay — the opposite of what was typed into the Dental form. The same reversed labels appear in Database Definitions and the Update Code Table field dropdown for the DNT table. The Dental data entry form and printed Student Dental Record display correctly, but the mismatch in Query Builder and related tools makes it difficult to trust query output or verify data for the DNT.VF and DNT.VC fields. We…

Weekly Progress Emails — Add Option to Exclude Inactive Sections
What is happening now:
When a district deactivates a section mid-year, students linked to gradebooks tied to that section stop receiving all weekly progress report emails — including for their active courses. The email process does not check section status in MST or the student's current CAR records, and fails when it cannot retrieve Flex Period Start/End times for an inactive section. The only fix today requires a direct SQL update to the GBU table, which has no UI edit path. Why this matters:
Parents receive progress emails for one child but not another with no explanation. Districts with 100+…2 votes -
Counseling: Allow same-day entries to be sorted based on time of entry.
On the Counseling page (and possibly other pages), the Display Options allow you to sort entries made on different days to be either descending or ascending. But if you make several entries on the same day, you can't sort them, and they are always ascending. Meaning that if you sort the rest of the older entries the other way, now you have a mismatched sort combo. Can this somehow be corrected?

Allow Attendance Recovery (ARB.TRV) to Display on SBG & GRD Report Cards
Districts using Attendance Recovery rely on the ARB table (specifically ARB.TRV) to track recovered absences or hours. Currently, there is no built‑in way to display recovered attendance totals on Standards‑Based (SBG) or GRD report cards.
Parents, students, and administrators need clear visibility into recovered attendance applied during a term. Districts are currently forced to use custom text/comment fields populated via query or import, which is error‑prone and not scalable.
Requested Solution:
Expose ARB attendance recovery totals (TRV) as selectable report card fields
Allow filtering by term or date range
Support both SBG and GRD report card engines

Activities and Awards – Add 'More Info' Option and Display Inactive Fixed Code Descriptions in Read Mode
Currently, the Activities and Awards page does not have a 'More Info' option to view a record's full details in read mode — users must open Edit mode to see all data elements. Additionally, when a field contains a descriptor code that has been marked Inactive or 'No Longer In Use' in Fixed Codes (such as ACT.PCR Code 03 – IBC Failed, which was removed from TWEDS for the 2025–26 school year), the description no longer displays — only the raw code value is shown.
We are requesting two related improvements:
1. Add a 'More Info' option to Activities and…3 votes -
Enhance Electronic Records Requests to have a list of Schools that support it
During the AERIES con this year, I asked about this feature. Seems it is there, but........not really enabled nor easily enabled and you cannot find out who else is using it. It would save a LOT of time and seems like more people would use this.
