  2. Mobile App: Prevent saving feedback records with blank/whitespace comments

    The mobile app currently allows feedback submissions where the Comment field contains only whitespace, as long as a category is selected. Enhance validation to prevent saving feedback records when the comment is empty or whitespace-only.

    The StudentSectionAssociation entity is extracting multiple KG Homeroom Sections for students with multiple sections where the course has KG Service ID 01020000. When multiple sections with the KG Service ID exist in the student schedule, only the section with the lowest course sequence (CAR.SQ) is to be extracted.

  6. Show API Status for CERS Student Group Extract Files

    In the CERS Student Group Extract view, please add API status indicators so users can quickly tell whether a file was intended to post to the API and whether that post was successful. In addition to the existing record count, adding columns such as API Enabled and API Success would allow customers to validate scheduled vs. manual processes at a glance, reduce confusion during troubleshooting, and minimize the need to look in SQL for confirmation. Aligns UI visibility with data already stored in the system (FLI)

  9. Report Card Options Allows Saving to GRP Table Without GRP Permissions

    On the Report Card Options page, users can customize headers for Grade Report (GRD) marks. These customizations are saved into the Grade Report Mark Headings (GRP) table for any selected Grading Periods.
    Currently, users who have GRD update permissions—but do not have GRP update permissions—are still able to save changes to the GRP table.
    This creates a permissions bypass where users can modify GRP data without having the appropriate GRP access. We need the GRP permissions to be enforced.

  10. Support CSU Direct Admissions (SB 640) – Data Export / Eligibility Classification

    California Senate Bill 640 establishes the California State University (CSU) Direct Admissions Program, which will require districts to provide student academic data to support CSU admission determinations. CSU and CCGI have not yet released technical or logistical guidance (e.g., data specifications, eligibility calculations, or submission process) for SIS vendors or districts.
    This idea is to track potential Aeries support for CSU Direct Admissions once official requirements are published.

    Please update the Grade Report Mark Analysis Report so that the GPA calculation honors the Valid Mark (GRC) option “Weight Advanced Placement / IB Courses.”
    This will ensure the report’s GPA matches district weighting rules.

  13. Update Aeries for TREx Performance Acknowledgment College Assessment Codes 8 - 12

    Aeries documentation for TREx needs to be updated to include the new codes 8-12. These codes need to be included on Activities and Awards for Performance Acknowledgment College Assessment records and the codes need to be available on Texas State Reporting > Code Translations for appropriate translation of the Activities and Awards code to the TREx code required in the export file.

  15. Log ANL file activity between Aeries and ParentSquare

    When Attendance Notification (ANL) records are created in Aeries, implement a logging and tracking process that records each stage of the data flow—from when the file is generated and sent from Aeries, to when ParentSquare receives and processes the data. This logging would provide visibility into the full lifecycle of each notification and clearly indicate where failures occur, whether the notifications were not successfully transmitted from Aeries, not received by ParentSquare, or not sent out by ParentSquare after receipt.

  16. Graduation Status Letter: Enable Multi-Language Translation for Subject Areas on Graduation Status Letter

    Subject Area names on the Graduation Status Letter are currently pulled directly from REQ.SA as raw text, which does not support translations. To fully support non-English Correspondence Languages, an enhancement is required to store and retrieve translations for Subject Areas.

  18. Define Required Fields for MII Table

    We would like the MII table added to define required fields. We have found that many families are not including their insurance carrier when completing insurance information which is causing additional work for staff. We use a third party for medical billing and our medical billing technician must now contact those families to add their insurance carrier.

  19. Assertive Discipline

    When creating an Assertive Discipline entry, there are some fields that our District has deemed as REQUIRED fields for an Administrator to fill in. For example: When a weapon is involved in an incident, the type of weapon is tagged as a REQUIRED field to be indicated in the Assertive Discipline entry. Unfortunately, Aeries will allow the user to finalize the entry without filling in one or more of the required fields, and then a DVS Error is generated, due to the fact that one or more REQUIRED field(s) were not filled in, after the fact.
