User Font Preference Setting for Accessibility and Readability
Aeries displays all text in a single fixed font, and users have no way to adjust the typeface to suit their visual needs. Staff and parents with vision impairments, dyslexia, or general readability difficulties rely on browser or operating system workarounds that are inconsistent and often not available on managed district devices. Review SC/SN data and allow deletion of one record in Combine Student Records process
The Combine Student Records process copies and aligns data between two student records but does not remove either record. As a result, when both records exist at the same school, duplicate student records can remain for a single student ID. The process also does not evaluate or consolidate related records in SC/SN-based tables such as ATT, CAT, CAR, SEC, GBU, and GBS. Please allow the process to identify same-school records, consolidate associated SC/SN data, and provide the option to remove the duplicate record after consolidation is complete.

Align the Student Attendance Summary report for Texas with TSDS report 130-008
Texas districts use the Student Attendance Summary report to check attendance before submitting to TSDS. The category breakdowns no longer match the TSDS Student Attendance Summary report (130-008) due to changes, so districts cannot easily reconcile Aeries totals against what TEA reports back.

Student Data Audit: Initial US School Enrollment Date K-12 warning should use grade level instead of student age
The Student Data Audit report returns the warning “The student initial US School Enrollment Date must be greater than 4 years from the student birth date” for students whose Student Initial US School Enrollment Date K-12 is valid for CALPADS, including transitional kindergarten students who were under 4 when they first enrolled. The audit check was based on CALPADS error SINF0059, which CDE disabled in August 2025 and replaced with SENR0733F1 (Fall 1) and SENR0733E1 (EOY 1). These errors no longer look at the student’s age. Use a Font with Distinguishable Characters for User Entered Data
Aeries displays user entered text in default system fonts, where similar characters such as uppercase I and lowercase l often look identical, along with other common pairs such as the number 1, the number 0, and uppercase O. This makes it difficult to read and type values accurately, especially identifiers such as student IDs, usernames, email addresses, and codes, and leads to data entry errors and confusion. Function Copy ELPAC Scores to LAC Not working properly
All test scores are not being populated correctly. After running the function only DATE and NAME are being populated on the General TAB of the LAC screen. Only recently this has stopped working.

Grad Date Format Missing on Enhanced (1-Column) Transcript for CA Districts
The Graduation Date Format setting on the Enhanced (1-Column) transcript is available only to Texas districts, so other districts can print only the month and year of graduation.
Make the setting (MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY/MM) available to every district, as some colleges will not accept a transcript that shows only the graduation month and year.2 votes -
Standards Based Grades Process Dashboard Valid Marks link should open the Standards Based Valid Marks
On the Elementary Standards Based Grades Process Dashboard, step 6 under Setup / Config, "Valid Marks and GPA Computation Rules," opens the Valid Marks page used for traditional Grade Reporting instead of the valid marks used for Standards Based Grades. Those marks are maintained on Standards Based Options under the Valid Marks tab. Users who follow the dashboard to set up Standards Based Grading are sent to edit marks that don't affect standards based report cards, which can cause confusion and setup errors. Restrict Editing of Counseling Notes (CNF) to the Authoring User
Counseling notes are a first-person clinical narrative — the counselor's own observation and account of a session with a student. Their value as a record depends on remaining exactly as the author wrote them.
Currently, any user with update/edit/delete rights to the Counseling Notes table (CNF) can modify the comment/narrative field on a note authored by someone else. There is no authorship lock.
This creates real exposure for districts:
Record integrity — a note that anyone could have rewritten is no longer an accurate account of what the author documented.

Add an audit/report to identify overlapping primary teacher assignments.
Overlapping primary teacher assignments can lead to errors in Aeries. Currently, there is no way to identify these issues through the UI. Add a report or audit check that flags sections with overlapping primary teacher assignments.

Restrict who can select the Term and Mark on Copy Grades to Transcripts
On the Copy Grades to Transcripts (HIS) page, prevent campus users from selecting the wrong Term or Mark to Move (which can push incorrect data that then requires SQL to correct) by limiting those selections to users who hold the appropriate grade-reporting and transcript-setup permissions. District-level staff keep full control; campus users cannot change the values away from the correct ones.

CALPADS SENR Extract 2026-27 Exit Reasons T166 / T169 Add Expected Receiver School (field 1.28)
CALPADS added two new exit reason codes for 2026-27 - T166 (TransAltEdPrgmDisc) and T169 (TransOtherDiscRsns). Include the Next School / Expected Receiver School of Attendance (SENR field 1.28, from ATT.NS) in the SENR extract, as is done today for T160 and T165.

Course Content Subcategory: support the 2026-27 CALPADS World Language code set
CALPADS retired the LANG World Language codes in the Course Content Area Subcategory code set as of June 30, 2026 and published a new set of three-letter ISO based World Language codes effective July 1, 2026 for the 2026-27 school year. Update the Course Content Subcategory field in Aeries so the new 2026-27 codes are available for selection on Courses, Master Schedule, Scheduling Master, and Teachers, and so the retired LANG codes are no longer offered while still displaying correctly on existing records. Deselecting a school in the Active Students by School and Grade report does not remove it
When running the Active Students by School and Grade report from district view, unchecking a school did not remove it; the school reappeared at the end of the selected list and still printed on the report.
The only reliable workaround is to clear all schools and reselect schools.

Capture Pull-Out/Push-In Teacher (CALPADS field 9.38) for elementary schools and include it in the CRSE/C extract
For AY 2026-27 CALPADS added the Pull-Out/Push-In Teacher indicator (field 9.38) to the Course Section Enrollment and Completion records, but Aeries currently only captures it on the Master Schedule (MST). Pure elementary schools do not maintain a Master Schedule, so their teachers have no place to record whether they provide pull-out or push-in instruction, and field 9.38 comes out blank on the CRSE and CRSC extracts for those schools. Please add a Pull-Out/Push-In Teacher Yes/No field on the Teacher record for elementary schools, matching how the existing Itinerant Teacher indicator is already captured there, and include that value in the…
