Classes - Add the ability for Aeries to recognize a future change in scheduling
Currently, Aeries is programmed to treat all changes as immediate changes, regardless of an effective date. This does not work with how school staff efficiently process known changes. When a future schedule change is added to Aeries, the response from Aeries is to drop students from classes they are still in, and this wreaks havoc on attendance, grades, and reporting. We were told that Aeries is working as designed when it does this. If that is true, I respectfully request that you redesign this function. It causes a lot of confusion for teachers and students and causes many staff countless…

Student Singleton Conflict Report
Add a Scheduling Report that will show students who have singleton conflicts. This is different than a course vs course singleton conflict report.
Having a report that lists students who have a singleton conflict will reduce scheduling time significantly.

Homeroom Teacher Automatically Assigned Based on Scheduled Classes
For scheduling purposes, it would be great if Aeries had a feature/setting where for the homeroom class (or any class) it can be automatically assign a teacher that the student has in one of their other scheduled periods.
In general terms, it would be the ability for a student's course to be automatically assigned a teacher based on certain parameters. I could see this being helpful with homerooms but also special cohorts.

Put the courses form back to how it functioned prior to the latest version update
Please put the course form back to how it functioned prior to the latest version update. If you must keep this design then give us an option to select the page view that we prefer. Again, this design is too time-consuming for the work that we have to do with courses.

Scheduling Master Schedule/Master Schedule: mass move students to Wait List
If Wait Lists are being used, it would be helpful to be able to mass move students to a Wait List for a section. One case scenario: two sections of a Course exist but one is being dropped. The 12th graders will get priority for the remaining section; the lower grade level students get mass added to the Wait List.

Scheduling Setup - should show date or grey out once it is ran
It would be great if the Scheduling Setup could show the date it was last ran. Maybe offer a check box or something that says you want to run it again and that current course request will be deleted.

Course Requests - add a "Notes" field to enter specific needs or considerations
It would just be helpful if there was a place as we build out schedules if there are specific needs or considerations we can leave that note there for reference when we look back at their course requests.

Flex SMS Board in Period View with no available empty cells to click on: Copy Class doesn't work
On the Flex SMS Board, with Period View checked. Select a class to copy. Press Copy Class button. If there is no empty cell to click on (the Flex Period + Teacher), the copied class doesn't display. If the cell already has a class in it, nothing happens.
Discovered in this case scenario: an elementary school with only one Flex Period, trying to copy an existing class.
The workaround already exists: un-check Period View. Then a copied class can be put into the same Flex Period with the same teacher or into a different Flex Period with a class already…

Mass Change or Add Crs Requests page: add "skip this student" checkbox
On the Mass Change or Add Crs Requests page, add a checkbox by the students' names. If checked, the mass add should skip the student. This would provide an easy way to mass add the most common course requests, while skipping the exceptions.

MST Board - Option to Lock/Unlock Sorting
When working on future scheduling, I have admin users who need to keep the sorting options the same as they work through the courses/teachers.
It would be helpful to be able to lock/unlock the sort options so that they do not have to be reset each time the MST Board loads.

Classes - Create View "Fall", "Spring", Term 1, Term 2, Term 3, etc. and don't show terms not selected
Create a checkbox to View "Fall", "Spring", "Term 1", "Term 2", etc and when not selected, the courses for that term are NOT showing. Although currently, there is a "Schedule Only Spring", Fall courses are still showing.

SMS Rejected Students - We would like there to be a KEEP so we can keep rejected students
When viewing rejected students on the SMS board, there should be an option to keep students so we can work on their schedules. It's not efficient to copy paste or write down their ID numbers.
