Weekly Progress Emails -School-based Instead of District-based
We would really like to be able to enable or disable this option by school instead of for the entire district at once.
Weekly Progress Emails are a district-based option, so we have this turned on for our district, but if parents at our elementary school (which doesn't use gradebooks) select to receive weekly progress emails when they see the pop up in the parent portal, they receive weird messages and blank emails and call the school to complain that it's not working right.

Parent Data Confirmation - Require Certain Number of Contacts
We would like to require parents to provide contacts during PDC/Online Enrollment. Can we have an option to make it so parents cannot move forward in the process unless they have a user-defined number of contacts?

School of Choice and Next school
When approving or denying a transfer, it would be helpful to have the option to check a box that would update the student next school (STU.NS) field with the approved transfer school.

Prior Year Grade Report/Transcript Changes - Auto Update Future Year Transcripts and Report Card History
When a grade is changed, users are given the opportunity to update the transcript (grade history). When a grade is changed in a past year, it would be useful if users were given the opportunity to both update the report card history (and have that roll forward to the new year) and the new year's transcript data, too.

Parent Portal - Email Reconfirmation Option
Add in a way to force re-verification of parent portal username / email accounts after a set time.
Issue: Parents are not updating their Parent-Portal email address ( username ). Since we use this email for Teacher communication through Aeries, this causes both bounce-backs and communication problems.
-- Yearly / Set date of execution.
-- Parent would get an email with a single link ( no VPC needed again ) to "re-verify" their email.
-- If the parent didn't verify, parent portal would 'lock' for access and prompt options:

Allow Attendance Recovery (ARB.TRV) to Display on SBG & GRD Report Cards
Districts using Attendance Recovery rely on the ARB table (specifically ARB.TRV) to track recovered absences or hours. Currently, there is no built‑in way to display recovered attendance totals on Standards‑Based (SBG) or GRD report cards.
Parents, students, and administrators need clear visibility into recovered attendance applied during a term. Districts are currently forced to use custom text/comment fields populated via query or import, which is error‑prone and not scalable.
Requested Solution:
Expose ARB attendance recovery totals (TRV) as selectable report card fields
Allow filtering by term or date range
Support both SBG and GRD report card engines

Report for counts of how many completed PDC
My Superintendent asks for daily updates on how many students have / have not completed the data confirmation process. It is cumbersome to have to run this report by site (I see there is an idea to have it ran district wide), but if there was a report that would just have total counts like students enrolled, PDC completed, PDC not completed, this would save us so much time every day.

Improve the current reports Students with absences and students with excused absences to be condensed and user friendly. Also improving the students with absence today to include an assortment of attendance codes.

Master Schedule - Default View
I would love this page to default to show ALL ACTIVE sections. Our section list defaults to show ONLY ONE - the lowest section number, which happens to be inactive. It is irritating that in order to view all sections, I have to first erase the default number that appears in the search bod, and then click "Go" - see screenshot.
Additionally, I would love it if all the inactive sections were hidden by default (with a clickable box to show them if desired). Showing all inactive sections can get very confusing because we have many inactive sections with the…

Communicate with Course Requests
It would be nice to have the academic plan communicate with course request changes. We used academic plans in the class with students and students rely on it but now that we are in course requests the is a mix-up. Students still have access to academic plans when they are not longer accurate.

Academic Plan: UC/CSU requirements tracking
Currently, A-G requirements that are above and beyond basic requirements (such as a third year of Science or Language) do not 'roll over' to satisfy the elective requirement, even though the student has a plan to satisfy the requirement.
Suggested change: Allow A-G courses in this category to show that the area G elective is satisfied. See attached example; highlighted courses should all satisfy the G elective.

Removing users from user groups upon disabling their staff account
I would like when we inactivate a staff member and it disables the user account, that it also removes the staff member immediately from the user groups. In clearning out our user groups, I still show MANY users that have been disabled.

Auto hide deceased contact in Aeries
If a parent is tagged as deceased, instead of deleting data which is a horrible practice, can the 99 tag auto hide from the parent and student accounts.

Allow Option to choose if SSID US School K-12 (LAC.USS) date gets overwritten
We would like the ability to be able to choose whether or not we want the SSID US School K-12 (LAC.USS) date to overwrite in Aeries so it is not overwritten every time the SSID extract gets loaded. We load the SSID extract once a month to update the SPED indicator.

Online Enrollment: Please add a help button for parents who require assistance
Online registration system that has a "Help" button that: (a) sends an alert to a designated district employee who can reach out with paper or electronic copies of required forms, and (b) overrides the requirement for document upload so that parents can finish the registration process.

Add automation to Backup Gradebooks
Allow district to select dates and/or re-occurrences of the Backup Gradebooks. This ensure that all is captured and available.
