Display Student Class Schedule next to Attendance record
I am an attendance clerk at a high school. Typically the students have six teachers. There is a large blank space next to the student's attendance record where you can place the schedule. This would make things much more efficient for us. We currently have to go back and forth from attendance page to schedule page all day yet there is sufficient space next to attendance to add the student's schedule of classes. As attendance clerks, we have to make corrections to teacher errors all day. This would make this process more efficient.

Document Uploads - Email Notifications
Set up an email notification to a specified user/email if documents are uploaded that require approval (i.e., documents from the portal document requests).

District Assets Items - Add Inactive Tag
I would like to request an Active/Inactive field for any asset in the DRI table so when an asset is "Active" it can be checked out, and when an Asset is "Inactive" it cannot be checked out.

Classes / Course Requests - Add Students with Disabilities/504/IEP Indicator
My District would love to see an indicator, similar to what is seen on Assertive Discipline, for SWD/504/IEP on the Scheduling, Classes and Course Request pages. It might be beneficial for other pages as well.

Grade Submission - Extend Grading windows for a single teacher
There are many instances where a teacher needs to:
-- Edit a report card after grading window
-- Forgot to submit grades for their classWe would like a feature to allow offices to grant a single teacher a custom grade submission window to:
-- Update a single student's grade
-- Update a period of grades
-- Update all of their students gradesThis would eliminate the tasks of the office / District to re-open the window for all teachers / transcribe paperwork, while providing the flexibility for normal circumstances.

Academic Plan - Lock Courses by Grade Level
Ability to Lock the Academic Plan by grade level (not subject area) to increase efficiency for Counselors to meet with students before rolling over to Course Requests.
Counselors schedule by grade level and we would love the option to lock classes by grade level.

Phone numbers: Remove all references to "home", "mobile", or "cellular" phone number. These words are not needed anymore.

Student Attendance page Quick Print button should display entire year
On the student Attendance page, the Quick Print button displays/prints the data through today's date, but it should display/print for the entire year (like Client did).

Allow Aeries users to have a single login, but be able to switch between various roles such as teacher, user, or admin.

Seating Chart and Attendance by Photo - allow specifying a default seating chart
Stop the possibility of having 2 default seating charts for one period and add the ability to select which chart is to be the default. Currently the teacher must select a seating chart prior to taking attendance, and there is no option to specify a default. This default seating chart will be the one used to take attendance.

On the Student Attendance Report under View All Reports or Reports tab, allow the report to print for multiple students.

EL Newcomer Updates
There needs to be a way for us to select options on a screen so that Aeries can display the correct Newcomer status for Multilingual students. A student may start out as "n zero" - during their first year in the US. However, the next year they will be an "n one" student, and so on. This will help us track the progress of the student and also help us assign correct services to them to help their progress.

Allow creating sections in SMS from an imported spreadsheet with minimal or all fields
Time Saver When scheduling is done outside of Aeries - we need a way to import / create sms sections from a spreadsheet. For example - spreadsheet must have Course#, Period, Teacher, (and optionally more fields ie: Course Max, Term, Room). If all of these sections could be created for us, we could use queries to complete any missing data.

Online Enrollment - Required Contacts
Currently, Online Enrollment only requires 1 contact to be added before proceeding. It would be great if Districts could choose the number of contacts required before proceeding.

Allow 2 character absence codes
With all of the new absence codes we had to add for Distance Learning and now the ones we have to add for COVID related absences for P-EBT, we have run out of letters and have used almost half of the numbers and really need 2 character absence codes to be allowed in the system.

The scope of work required to allow 2-digit attendance codes, and manage the effects throughout the attendance feature will only be able to be accomplished as part of a future modernization effort for the Attendance feature.
