Allow 2 character absence codes
With all of the new absence codes we had to add for Distance Learning and now the ones we have to add for COVID related absences for P-EBT, we have run out of letters and have used almost half of the numbers and really need 2 character absence codes to be allowed in the system.

The scope of work required to allow 2-digit attendance codes, and manage the effects throughout the attendance feature will only be able to be accomplished as part of a future modernization effort for the Attendance feature.

Online registration
Since there is the capability to have the online enrollment process answer the Authorization questions why can that not contribute to the Data Confirmation Status report. Is does not make sense to have a parent come in to the registration dept handling all the necessary questions and paperwork to only be told that they have to go home log into the portal and complete the data confirmation. More than half the parents leave thinking they have completed the registration process and show up at the school ready to start on the first day to only be told you need to…

Intervention Data Integration
I propose linking intervention information with attendance and test scores so that when building or monitoring intervention plans, coordinators can automatically populate the test score data and attendance in the intervention forms.

Formatting of Report Comment section on Gradebook Assignments By Student Report
The current implementation does not allow for the teacher to format this field, so the parents see only one long sentence that runs off the page.
Enhance the gradebook by allowing for full HTML markup so that the teacher has full control over how the contents are displayed.
At the bare minimum, this field should auto-wrap within the page margins.

Academic Plan Counseling Comment
When counselor accepts or rejects a parent- or student-requested change to student's academic plan, allow counselor to comment on the reason for the rejection. Right away, the student/family will know the rationale, which could really support peace and ongoing rapport.

Emergency Student Listing - Adding Teacher to Student Name Sort
It would be so helpful if the Emergency Student Listing - Sort by Student Name option had the student's teacher listed on the report as well. It is listed on other 'sort by' options, but not on this one. This is important to staff during a drill or a real emergency.

Gradebook progress by Student report to only show active students
When creating a report for Gradebook Progress by Student, the Select Student section should have an option to display only active students in the gradebook. This way students that have been dropped shouldn't appear in the report

Electronic Score Report Processing - Update Verbiage on Completion Email When No Scores Available
When no test scores are available for any students based on the settings marked on the Configure Electronic Score Reporting Manager page, the process emails that it failed even though it really was that there were no test scores available.
Please change the email the verbiage to "No scores were available" instead of "failed to complete".

Provide the option to add an image in SBG report card anywhere in the body.
Allow customization of SBG report card layout build by allowing (1) portrait with three columns with the left-hand side column being English (correspondence language) and the other right-hand side column be in another language (e.g. home language). The middle column would be the grade that the student received. This would allow for families to read/view the report card, as well as the student.

Independent study - adding the ability to attach the work product to the work flow records
Uploading the work product to the associated work flow record will help during the yearly audits. This would also reduce the massive list of docs in the student documents in Aeries.

Add DB Suffix and Year to import result reports email subject line
I get several emails daily as a result of automated, overnight imports and extracts. It would be helpful to know for sure which database generated the results report -- as I have 3 separate Aeries databases. It would also be very helpful after rollover to be sure that the imports/extracts are coming out of the new year database.

Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, the DAY.BS column is still 0
When you apply a Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, the DAY.BS column is still 0, even after you apply the Bell Schedule BSD Key to a day on DAY. So the FK from BSD to DAY is SC, BS, but DAY.BS is always 0.
Adding a Bell Schedule in the Calendar DAY, I think should record the BDS.KY into DAY.BS, but DAY.BS is always blank. Ticket Reference 3085279 votes -

When searching for students at the elementary level, the counselor field is now displayed. Can we get this changed back to being called teacher, and auto-populate the teacher name again?

Lock row and column headers on Classes page
When I am using the Classes page to schedule a student's classes, I usually first add a Course Request packet that has all the courses for that student's grade so that I can select which sections s/he should be in. But we have 10 Flex Periods across our various school days, and when I scroll right to view the latter flex periods, I can no longer see the row headers that tell me the name of the course. And if I scroll down to look at latter rows of courses in the list, I can no longer see the column…

Filtering the Students with Double Periods Report
As with any scheduling report, it's super helpful to be able to use a KEEP/SKIP statement to filter down. If honoring a KEEP/SKIP isn't possible, perhaps add a period filter to the report would help limit results.

California Dreamer Act Application (CADAA)
Please add the California Dreamer Act Application (CADAA) information added as a hard-coded item so the information can be tracked under the Activities and Awards page for our non-citizen students similar to resident students that apply for FAFSA.
