Manage Parent/Student Accounts - add option to hide inactive students and schools
On the Manage Parent/Student Accounts page, add an option to hide Inactive students and Hide Inactive schools. It would be nice to only filter the list to just active students at active schools to find their account if needed.

Print Classroom Photo - Seating Chart New option

Cal Grant GPA Export - Add Option to Use College Board Code for the Students' Reporting Home School
We have a Virtual Academy Campus 95 that is being used for Independent Study for our High School Students. The school does not have a College Board Code or a CDS code. all students in this school use their reporting home school.
We would like these students to be included in the CAL Grant extract using their reporting home school's College Board Code.4 votes -
Online Enrollment - Comment Section on Student Import
It would be so helpful if there was a comments section next to a pending/partial student on the import page. That way my secretaries can make notes in there that District admin could see. If a student isn't being imported for a reason, if a conversation was had with a family, etc. They feel this would be helpful for summer enrollment as well.

Create a process to load grades from Gradebook using the multi-school access option.
Allow teachers to load grades from Gradebook when using the multi-school option. Currently teachers can associate multi-school gradebooks, however they cannot load the grades without changing school sites.

Data Confirmation - Restricting Individual Portal Accounts
It would be nice to have the option to restrict an individual parent portal account from all things parent portal related - including Data Confirmation.
Currently, restricting the contact still gives them access to Data Confirmation. The reason a contact would get restricted is because they can't play nice with the other parent & constantly try to delete the other parents information.
Using the Secondary Student Data restriction punishes both parents. I can see where that might be needed based on the type of code for the restriction - like overdue lunch bills, etc. But the parent that's cooperating gets…

Alternate Course Requests - Allow adding multiple courses
As as an Admin user I'd like to see the ability to add several alternate course request just as it is for regular requests. Having to add one at a time is too time consuming so hoping this might be an easy fix.

Attendance notifications
We want our school sites to have ownership of their attendance notifications, but right now, only Admin level users have the ability to set those up. We'd like to be able to give those permissions to whoever the school principal designates to complete that step.

Create Shared Gradebooks functionality
MST.TN is the Teacher of Record.
MST.TN2 and MST.TN3, co-teaching fields, should have the MST.TN gradebooks auto-populate in their Teacher Portal accounts mirroring the Teacher of Record setup.
Create a parent/child relationship within shared gradebooks : mirror linked or unlinked gradebooks as the Teacher of Record.
This would mean the Teacher of Record would have to approve all gradebook changes - this would prevent gradebooks from disappearing.
Additionally adding a gradebook option where the Teacher of Record (parent gradebook) would allow a TN2 and/or TN3 co-teacher (child gradebooks) RUID access to make change in the gradebook without the Teacher of…

Counseling - Populate Counselor field with User Login Name
When adding a new Counseling record, pre-load the Counselor field with the users login name.

Display attendance time on Attendance Submission Log report
The Attendance Submission log page shows the time attendance was taken, but the printable report only shows the date attendance was taken, not the time. Using Aeries query also displays the datetime fields as date only.

Data Confirmation - Make an Address Changes Audit page
Make the process of changing a student's address in the data confirmation process be set up similar to the military and residence survey audit screens. This would lessen the risk of the notification emails being lost in all the other confirmation emails.

District Attendance Letters - ability to sort printed letters
When we take large batches of letters to the post office, we need to have them sorted by zip code. If we are running letters for the entire district, we will need this sort option when printing letters. We also need the ability to sort printed letters by school. Currently a copy of the letter is supposed to go into a students file, so we need to be able to easily divide up the printed letters by school so that they can be sent out for filing. CALPADS Data Audit - Race/Ethnicity Error Fixes
On Student Data Audit for CALPADS, the Race & Ethnicity errors are triggering for students with a Z code in ETH (Decline to state) and ZZZ code in RC1 (Decline to state) even though the ZZZ code are is mapped to Decline To State on CALPADS XRF. Those should not trigger errors, only blank values should trigger errors. Also would like option to exclude warnings and just process Errors.

Option to hide sex/gender on Student Emergency Cards
We have a student that would like to change their gender, but doesn't want their parents to see. We were quite pleased to scour the parent portal and see no occurrence of sex or gender, until we got to data confirmation and found that the sex of the student prints on the Student Emergency Card and would be visible to the parent. It would be great if you offered the option to hide sex/gender on the Student Emergency Card that prints after Parent Data Confirmation is complete.

District Attendance Letters - Prevent timeouts and make the process more efficient
There are 2 issues with District Attendance Letters:
1. Generating letters are displaying the warning symbol and are timing out
2. Opening the Completed letters is timing out at the school level. Completed letters can be opened at the district level.21 votes
