I see that this Idea was posted in November 2020. But in my years when we started to use SBG with the elementary schools, I see that the Korean translations we entered in the SBG setup were working so the report cards in the Report Card History is showing the Korean report cards until 2024-2025 school year when it stopped.

I have commented twice on this thread and neither of my posts have shown up. Is this post being reviewed? ewasser@fusdk12.net

Aeries please provide an update to this critical need. The SBG standards definition permits multiple language to be entered in for correspondence. This feature is built into your system. It generates Spanish language report cards correctly, but is non-functional for Chinese.

Why would the report card not print in other languages? We have intentionally translated each standard to make the translation available to our families. It is important for us to provide the report card in the translated language we entered in the system.

Absolutely necessary that all students/parents can read the report card. The more languages the better.

Can Aeries please explain what the purpose is in being able to 1) select Chinese as a translatable language 2) have the translation entered into Standards Configurations, if those actions achieve nothing. Do the very same thing for Spanish allows for report card printing in that language. This feels highly deceiving to have an interactive feature of the platform, but then to call it an enhancement. Why is it there to begin with if it is not usable?

This is critical as there is an overwhelming need for this to meet the needs of our families.

It is imperative we as educators are inclusive of our communities especially when communicating progress and grades.

We are on the same boat. We can print English and Spanish but when we try to print Mandarin the report cards are printed in English.
