Independent Study Attendance by Month- fill in Complete code, check box for Incomplete
We'd like Post Attendance by Month programming changed to allow the teacher to select "Absent/INcomplete" for each student that month, which likely is fewer days, and then can Select "Mark 'Present' if not absent" checkbox at the top, to fill in blanks/UNchecked days with the "Present/Complete" code.
In a recent ticket, Aeries support said: "When Portal options are set to Post Attendance by Month, there is no way to Mass post present ATT code; The teacher must select each STU Present first, then can select mark Absent if not present."
But most Ind. Study students "Complete" work each week, so…

Enable HTML for Portal Document Requests Descriptions
The main description text for all document requests has a rich editor with html support, but the per-document request descriptions does not. We are collecting parent photos for on-campus badges at the elementary level and would like to put an example photo / link thereto in the specific document request item for these parent photos and not the main area that covers all document requests. thank you.

When entering a disposition for ADS for SIS or SUS, check offense against suspendable offenses before disposition is allowed.
A few of the discipline events this year had incorrect dispositions - in school suspension and suspension codes were entered for offenses that were not listed in the suspendable offense table. The disposition was allowed to be saved, it should have been rejected and the user prompted to change the disposition to a non-suspendable or change the offense code to a suspendable offense that is in the SUS table

Report Cards - Citizenship and Work Habits
Report Cards - Currently Citizenship mark legend prints in alphabetical/numeric order. We would like to have the report card honor the Update Code Table Sort option for the GRD.CI field in which order this legend prints out on the report card, and not just in alphabetical order.

Better way to do letters for suspension days that roll over from the prior year
The Request assigned and served days in ADS works okay for students that get suspended on the last few days of school and need to finish serving their suspension the next year; however, the letter that prints only shows the days served in the prior year and not the full suspension details. It would be better if we could either print both letters, which you currently can't print because the next year is not set up, or link the suspensions and have the letter include all the dates and details.

Improve the Search Functionality
We have had several complaints about how the student search works. Users cannot enter First Last because it pulls no results. Similarly, two last names with no hyphen does not work. Fuzzy search makes it worse.
It would be helpful to have a more dynamic/intuitive search similar to how the ctrl+F command works, as most other SIS have.3 votes -
REPORT Request: Identify students who have enrollment leave date and NOT re-enrolled during the school year within the district
We would like to identify students who ended enrollment in a school site during the current school year and did NOT re-enroll into the same school or enroll into another school within the District during the same school year. Query does not support this data request at this time. This would help identify ACTUAL losses from the District during the school year.

Provide an option to not print Work in Progress on transcript when printing individual transcripts.

Automate the Waitlist Feature
It would be great to have a way to automatically add all rejected students from the SMS process to a waitlist for a course at a given point in our process in scheduling.

Gradebook: add Override for Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade option
Gradebook has an option: Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade. The Min often set to 50 to avoid giving a student a "nuclear F." At the spring 2023 conference, a customer asked for an override to be added. So, in most cases, with the option selected for the Gradebook, the Min as set would be in effect. But for a specific student/assignment/score, the minimum could be overridden so that a zero score (or some score below the Min) would be applied. The specific use case scenario mentioned was a student who plagiarized the assignment.

Witnesses and Victims statements: allow upload of document or picture
After a discipline incident, statements are often taken from witnesses and victims. These statements are usually handwritten on paper. The Witnesses page includes an Account/Testimony field, which is potentially used by some schools.
At the spring 2023 AeriesCon, a customer asked for Witnesses to allow uploading of a document containing the witness statement. The document should be associated with the Incident ID.
Other options to consider: automatically associating the uploaded document with WIT, VIC or ADS depending on where it was uploaded. Allowing this document upload from WIT, VIC, or ADS, depending on the role of the involved student. If…

Allow users to Edit Margins or Print Size in Attendance letters. (This is not about District Letters)
The letters have a lot of spacing in the margins causing some letters to be 2 pages becuase of a signature line. I have elimited some words to make this work but if I could change margin or print size, it would print much more professional.

Flex Scheduling - Students with N or More Absences - Skip '0' Counts
We use the Students with N or More Absences more in a Flex Scheduling school to print period absences for the current day.
The report prints all period, and it would be very helpful if it only printed periods where the student has at least one absence (i.e., eliminate the '0' rows).

Gradebook - GBS.MK Recalculation Not Using Term Based Marks After Adding or Deleting a Standard to an Already Graded Assignment
In schools where the Portal Option ' Display Only Marks for Teacher, Parents and Students (Applies to SBG Grades and Gradebooks)' is Enabled, and the Gradebook is an SBG gradebook, if a standard is added to or removed from an assignment that has already been graded, then the recalculation that occurs should honor the above Portal Option and save the appropriate term mark in the GBS.MK field.
