Website Links do not show on the Classes page in Portal
Google Classroom links and other classroom websites show up in Class Summary and the Portal Home page, but do not currently show on the Classes page. Request to add the Website links to the Classes page.

Remove the Mass Change Period Absences from the Navigation Pane
This is located as a tab in the Att Management page. We have had the ATT Management page for over a year now and it is the "go to" page for attendance. There's no need to have it in both places. In addition, the ATT Management page has far more robust functionality.

Add the REQ Code on the Grad Status Report
From a training and trainer: The REQ code displays on the Grad Status page, but when you print the report, it's not displayed. Please consider adding the code value with each subject as it displays on the page.

Recalculate Years in Program for All Students should clear out LAC.YP value when there is no LAC.SD and LAC.YP is > 0
When removing the date from EL Start Date (LAC.SD) field after the LAC.YP was already populated, the function Recalculate Years in Program for All Students should clear out LAC.YP to make the value zero again.

Parent/Student Portal Class Summary - Show Days Taught
Show the days of the week that a class section is taught in the Class Summary within the Parent/Student Portal. Also base this on Course Attendance, not the "Classes" page, since a student may change classes in the future and the Classes page updates immediately.

Allow tooltips that show the query code for a field.
This is a feature that used to be activated on the SQL version of Aeries. It would be such a time saver to be able to hover the cursor over a field and have the table and field query field code pop up.

Manage Required Fields for Student Address
Student Address fields are marked as "Required" but not listed on the Define Required Fields page for Student Demographics. Only able to edit by using SQL to delete-tag. Need a way to unable to manage student address fields.

Online Enrollment times out on import screen - too many STU records
Online enrollment import form will time out when searching for records. The default filter needs to use the CURRENT YEAR. We have over 50,000 records returned by the API. I had to temporarily mark the STU.RES (status) field with an unknown value so the API would not return it.

Security Permissions Field Highlighting
Add web programming where the Security Fields change to a different color to highlight that the Group/User has customized Security permissions (example: STU Table and the EL team only has access to Update Language Fluency, but read access to everything else)

Currently the passwords in our config files are plain text. I would like to see something more secure for our environment and others.

Master Schedule, Split Term field needs to be locked down.
Master Schedule, Split Term (MST.DY) field needs to give a warning when changes are made and SEC/CAR records exist. Or the field should be read only like PD, BL, SM, TN and CN.

Event Log - Aeries NET
Have Aeries.NET log to the Event Log on the System, similar to how AeriesReporting and Aeries Online Registration do so that more detailed logs could be accessed rather than relying on the on-screen error messages and IIS logs.

New Reports to Analyze Family Data
Would like the ability to run report that show total families for District and each school site, and relational family data based on family keys assigned.
Would also like to have reports that show the relationship of families from one school to another. For example, a report from School 5 that shows there are 20 families in School 5 that have siblings in School 1, and 15 families in School 5 that have siblings in School 2, etc.

Financials/Fees from Other Districts
Some of our Fees are not intended to be collected. Specifically, fees which represent balances at other districts. We have to enter those so we know to check with the other district before graduating a student, but we cannot collect payments for those fees.
I want to request an option to mark a record in Financials as not allowed to be paid.1 vote -
Trigger any form based on choosing a Status
As the current system allows you to specify a specific status tag to trigger the summer withdrawal form, it would be nice if we could chose a status tag to trigger any arbitrary form, especially custom tables.
In our case, I'd like to trigger a custom "displaced" form if a student is set to a specific status code.

Data Validations - Add a “Pinned” Indicator on Non-Refreshable Validations
Currently the ability to refresh validations occurs at the group level.
However not all validations within a group may be marked as "User Can Refresh". This would be confusing to a user who refreshes after addressing the non-refreshable validation issues.
My suggestion would be to add a thumbtack glyph to the validation header bar with rollover text that states something to the effect of “these validation results are pinned by the system administrator”.

Control population of the Next ResSchl Field
Need more control over populating the Next ResSchl field
Currently we control what options are available in the Next Schl field via COD table : STU.NS.
The COD : STU.NS list includes our 'traditional' schools (Not ASP, Summer, other 'paper' schools) as well as the High Schools we are feeders for.
However, the Next ResSchl seems to ONLY be populated from the LOC table... which is problematic for a few reasons:
1) The options don't match the options in Next School
2) The options don't include commonly needed values (the resident High Schools of 8th graders)

Print Grade Report Cards - Need Larger message code field
I would like at least an option to make the number of characters in the message code field larger on report cards. Due to the change in grading during COVID, we needed to address this as a message to parents on the report cards. The field does not allow for more than one line of characters. The message we needed to relay would have been about 2 1/2 lines so it was cut off. This meant we had to run all of the reports cards through the copy machine to copy the message that we needed on the bottom of…
