  1. No Show Setup - New Prior Year Exit Default Date

    I have struggled for years with the issue of having the correct No Show date be used - because the No Show Wizard does NOT help our users make the correct choice.

    So, Here is my solution proposal.

    Modify the No Show Setup:

    Have two configurable No Show dates
    - Prior Year Exit Date
    - Current Year Exit Date

    Then the No Show Dialog that appears when selecting the No Show Code on the Demographics page, can evaluate the STU.ED and choose the correct default:

  3. Enhance Flex SMS Board to update Course Information when Creating New Sections

    At this time, when creating a new Section in the Flex SMS Board, some Course information is not auto-populated for the Section. Please enhance this feature so the same Course information that is populated when using the Scheduling Master Schedule page is populated when using the Flex SMS Board.

  4. Online enrollment homeless - Inconsistent process from Parent Data Confirmation

    As we are implementing more of the digital enrollment processes, Online Enrollment and Parent Data Confirmation we are STUGGLING with process inconsistencies.

    It is very hard to have the Online Enrollment process function differently than the Parent Data Confirmation process. HOW can we have a consistent procedure / process to accurately process submitted data from parents.

    For example the Online Enrollment - AUTOMATICALLY adds a PGM record based upon the Residence Survey.
    Where as the Parent Data Confirmation creates a Residence Survey Audit record for staff to review and approve.

  5. Parent Portal New Account - Add First Student

    Provide an "Add Student" button or link in the Parent Portal when the Parent Portal Account does NOT have an associated student.
    Currently, if a Parent Account does not have a student associated, it is not obvious how to add one (it is buried under the user information drop down)

  7. Allow Teachers to Print Student Emergency Cards and Emergency Student List

    At this time, Emergency Cards and Emergency Student List are only printable by Users with permissions and Admin type accounts. Allow for teachers to run the Emergency Card report Emergency Student List .

    Alternative solution: Teachers may run the Student Directory, in Landscape, which will have some but not all of the same information.

  8. Classroom Attendance: Add Button to send automated "Missing Attendance" email to teacher

    On the classroom attendance page , if there would be a section/button next to the teachers names to send a notification that there attendance is missing or not complete. They could get an email sent to them. it would avoid having to reach out and disrupt classroom time.

  9. Create an Option for Districts to Choose How They Want to Manage Red Flag (FLG) Permissions

    Create an options to allow districts to choose between
    Managing Red Flags with the FLG permission
    OR
    Automatically tie Red Flag visibility to read access for specific tables/screens, ensuring users see all relevant alerts without needing separate permissions—helping prevent critical information from being missed due to overlooked access settings.

  10. Automatic inactivate user accounts and staff accounts based on employment end date

    Hello,

    When the end of the year comes around each year we have to manually end inactivate
    all staff member accounts who are exiting. We enter end dates and then have to manually one by one inactivate user accounts. It would be great if their was a process that could be run to automatically do this or a process that would do this by end or exit date.

  12. Attendance Management Page Unverified Absence Option

    When the 'unverified absence' option is selected, display all codes in all periods and All Day code instead of just absence codes. Selecting the option "unverified absences' should be a filter to limit to students with at least 1 unverified absence code but not displaying only absence codes

  13. Course Credits Change Rollover Function

    At this time when course credits are changed, this change will not roll over to SMS/MST/GRD/HIS because these are point-in-time data fields from when they are created. Course credits are housed in all of these tables which would require mass changes to each. A tool to find credits differences between tables/references and to execute changes from would be helpful in expediting this process.

  14. Can the colors for CAASPP test scores be updated to match the colors on the CDE dashboard?

    The assessments shows the following colors for the standards:

    standard exceeded - blue
    standard met - green
    standard nearly met - yellow
    standard not met - red

    I posted some screenshots of what the colors look like.

  15. Color Code Academic Plan Failed Couses/A-G D Gradees

    In the Academic Plan- Color code failed classes Red
    Grades of D color code Yellow, so that the student knows that needs to be retaken. The student/counselor and parent can clearly distinguish visiually see areas of need and the student can update their academic plan.
    Green- Complete
    Blue-Planned
    Orange- In progress
    Red-Failed
    Yellow-A-G recieved a D need to repeat (or need a C in the next semester for Chem, Math, Spanish)

  16. Golden State Seal Merit (GSSM) Report enhanced to work with Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking

    The Golden State Seal Merit (GSSM) report is not rendering By Counselor correctly when this option is selected for Flex Schools using Staff ID Based Counselor Tracking (STU.CNS). The report currently only extracts from the Counselor field (STU.CU). To improve functionality and accuracy, we propose an enhancement to the report so that the Counselor name is pulled from the STU.CNS field in this case.

    In the meantime, the following workaround can be implemented:
    Add the Counselors to the TCH table.
    Assign the Counselor's teacher numbers (TCH.TN) to the STU.CU field.

  17. Numbered course requests

    Please add a numbered column to the Course Requests/Scheduling page so students and counselors can ensure that each student has requested the correct number of courses for the following year.
    Right now we have to count each line or wait until the end to run a report - being able to see their total number of requested courses in real time would REALLY help. thanks!!

  19. Mark verification sheets should show earned credit not attempted credit.
