Create a STU field that flags if a student has an IEP or 504
Create a field on the STU page that flags a student with an 'I' or a '5' depending on if they have an active IEP or 504. This will be similar to how a lot of districts utilize the STU.U2 field but it would be automatic rather than manual upkeep. This STU field needs to be queryable and an option in Student Groups so that districts can utilize the field the same way they utilize the U2 field.

Discipline Distribution Report – Prevent Duplicate Counts for Concurrently Enrolled Students
The report currently counts a student’s ADS record multiple times if they have more than one STU record due to concurrent enrollment. Joining ADS to STU only on ID inflates totals. Adding STU.SC = ADS.SCL resolves the issue by ensuring each incident is counted only once per school.

No Show Setup - New Prior Year Exit Default Date
I have struggled for years with the issue of having the correct No Show date be used - because the No Show Wizard does NOT help our users make the correct choice.
So, Here is my solution proposal.

504 Dates - create a rule to force correctly entered dates i.e. effective date = meeting date and leave date one day prior to the new meeting date, and the next review date being one day earlier and one year later.

Add Filter for Schools on pages with Schools Dropdown
Add a filter to pages listing Schools such as the Security-Permissions, School Access and other similar pages. This is especially important to larger Districts.

Socio Economically Disadvantaged Query
Be able to run a query for the SED with "DISADVANTAGED" extended field without having access to the FRE table. We have 30 schools that need to run various queries for grants/county/state programs and they do not have access to the FRE table but we would like them to be able to run the SED Y/N because there are several markers that make a student eligible for SED not only FRE table. Then not being able to run a query for SED because they don't have access to FRE.

Enhance Flex SMS Board to update Course Information when Creating New Sections
At this time, when creating a new Section in the Flex SMS Board, some Course information is not auto-populated for the Section. Please enhance this feature so the same Course information that is populated when using the Scheduling Master Schedule page is populated when using the Flex SMS Board.

Match Abbreviations, Strip Punctuation and Excess White Space in Addresses When Validating
When validating student addresses, the difference between St. Maria and St Maria can cause it to fail. The same with the difference between Av, Ave, and Avenue. All mean the same thing, but if the street table only contains one variation then only that one variation will pass validation. The street address parser could be much more intelligent, checking if the final 'word' in the student and street table addresses match any of a set of known street type variations and then validating true if both are in the same class of street type

Parent Portal New Account - Add First Student
Provide an "Add Student" button or link in the Parent Portal when the Parent Portal Account does NOT have an associated student.
Currently, if a Parent Account does not have a student associated, it is not obvious how to add one (it is buried under the user information drop down)4 votes -
Parent Data Confirmation Locked Contact Records
If a parent/guardian contact record is locked, but missing required information, the parent who is completing the data confirmation will not be able to complete the process. Recommend that locked records not be checked for completeness / block continuing data confirmation when parents are completing the data confirmation process.

Printing Transcripts Using a Different School Name for Virtualized Schools

Allow Teachers to Print Student Emergency Cards and Emergency Student List
At this time, Emergency Cards and Emergency Student List are only printable by Users with permissions and Admin type accounts. Allow for teachers to run the Emergency Card report Emergency Student List .
Alternative solution: Teachers may run the Student Directory, in Landscape, which will have some but not all of the same information.

Automatic inactivate user accounts and staff accounts based on employment end date
Hello,
When the end of the year comes around each year we have to manually end inactivate
all staff member accounts who are exiting. We enter end dates and then have to manually one by one inactivate user accounts. It would be great if their was a process that could be run to automatically do this or a process that would do this by end or exit date.4 votes -
Attendance Management Page Unverified Absence Option
When the 'unverified absence' option is selected, display all codes in all periods and All Day code instead of just absence codes. Selecting the option "unverified absences' should be a filter to limit to students with at least 1 unverified absence code but not displaying only absence codes

Course Credits Change Rollover Function
At this time when course credits are changed, this change will not roll over to SMS/MST/GRD/HIS because these are point-in-time data fields from when they are created. Course credits are housed in all of these tables which would require mass changes to each. A tool to find credits differences between tables/references and to execute changes from would be helpful in expediting this process.

On the Master Schedule (MST) page, add functionality for Class Calendar/Flex Period Association. This would provide users the ability to change a period on the MST page and have the associated class calendar automatically change with it so they stay in sync according to the Flex Period/Class Calendar Association flag in FTF table.

Flex Scheduling: reduce data entry needed for next year's Class Calendars
Every year, Class Calendars have to be added for next year from scratch. Could one or all of these be copied automatically to the next school year, for each Class Calendar in the current year?
1. The Short Title
2. The Description
3. The date pattern: in other words, if they can enter the first date of school next year, could this year's Class Calendar date checkbox pattern be overlaid onto the Class Calendar copied for the next Calendar year?4 votes
