  1. CAPSDAC Staff Extract: Adjust ClassroomAssignments field for Classroom Aides to use the primary teacher's Classroom Assignment number.

    When aides are included on the Master Schedule, the CAPSDAC Staff Extract assigns them to unique classroom codes that do not exist in the Classroom Extract. This causes validation errors during CAPSDAC submissions. Aides should inherit the same classroom assignment as their associated teacher from the Master Schedule to ensure consistency across extracts and prevent manual corrections.

    Many time the parents are uploading documents that aren't labeled. Is it possible for Aeries to assign a title to the document provided based on the field it is uploading it to? This would save so much time.

  4. Requesting Date Fields in HIS for Hand Entered Courses on the Transcript

    For state reporting, districts are required to report all high school credit courses completed during the current school year in the PEIMS Summer submission. When students complete high school credit courses outside of the regular school day schedule or virtually/online, the completed course information is manually entered to the transcript - there is no course section in the master schedule associated to the completed course. This in turn causes an issue for state reporting as there is no means to indicate the Begin Date indicating when the student began the course, only a Date Completed is available to indicate when…

  5. Option to Configure Immunization Logic for Students 18+

    Provide a District Settings option that allows districts to determine how immunization compliance is applied for students aged 18 and older. This would give districts flexibility to align with local policies and practices without requiring additional exemptions or manual workarounds.

  9. Special Education: Update SELPA Codes list for Santa Clara County SELPA Restructuring

    Santa Clara County has restructured its SELPA designations, and the Special Education page needs to reflect these changes. We recommend updating the SELPA code list to include the new North West and South East SELPA names, while clearly marking the older codes as (No longer in use).

  10. Include Legal Name in APIs

    We need the students' Legal Names to be included in our API for NIM. Currently, only the Alias and Preferred Name fields are being extracted, which is causing a mismatch in students' Gmail accounts. Student email addresses are generated based on the initials of their Legal Name, but when only Preferred Names are available, the initials often differ—resulting in Gmail accounts being overridden or misassigned by NIM.

    It is critical to allow Legal Names as part of the API table options.

  11. Additional Approval Option Button

    Please add functionality to mark a Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) as “Approved by Wet Signature” when a parent has signed a printed copy. This option should update campus approval counts in the system so that these plans are reflected in the overall approval metrics, including progress toward the district’s PGP approval goals.

  14. CALPADS STAS - Do Not Populate Attendance Recovery Field for Exempt Students

    To prevent STAS0304, do not populate any value in the Attendance Recovery column for students marked as exempt when generating the STAS file. The Attendance Recovery Days column should contain 'null' if the student is exempt from Attendance based on the 13.13 Student Absence Summary Data Collection Exemption Indicator.

  17. CCGI Extract Should Identify Dual Enrollment at the Course Level

    Working with CCGI, we discovered that the extract indicates courses with [CRS.CL] = 24 as an 'N' - "Not Dual Enrollment" in the Course File if the associated Dual Enrollment School [HIS.SDE] is not also populated with a school in Transcripts.

    While it won't be difficult to populate those records with our school, CCGI suggested that I open a ticket to ask that the extract pull those transcript entries as "Y - Dual Enrollment" by default, with or without the dual enrollment school populated in the transcript.

  18. Scheduling for Alt Ed in Individual Sections

    When using Alt Ed for certain sections only, it would be helpful to only see the "Actual Course" box on those sections designated as Alt Ed. We've had issues where non- Alt Ed sections were rescheduled to a new course via the MST, but the Actual Course field still held the old course code, so data in the SEC, CAR and GRD tables was displaying incorrectly.

  19. Create a STU field that flags if a student has an IEP or 504

    Create a field on the STU page that flags a student with an 'I' or a '5' depending on if they have an active IEP or 504. This will be similar to how a lot of districts utilize the STU.U2 field but it would be automatic rather than manual upkeep. This STU field needs to be queryable and an option in Student Groups so that districts can utilize the field the same way they utilize the U2 field.

  20. Support HomeRoomTeacherNumber API Endpoint for Schools Using StaffIDBasedCounselor Option

    The HomeRoomTeacherNumber endpoint currently pulls from the STU.CU field. For schools using the StaffIDBasedCounselor option, this field is replaced by STU.CNS, causing the endpoint to return 0. Enhance the endpoint logic to support STU.CNS when this option is enabled, ensuring compatibility across scheduling configurations.
