  1. Create a district wide option for supplemental attendance so that we can capture EXLP off site 3rd party attendance.

    Allow us to enter students from across the district that participate in offsite expanded learning programs. Additionally, allow us to enroll students from other schools in a site's summer program. Expanded Learning programs allow sites to enroll students from outside the school as long as they are district students. We can not enroll students in the supplemental attendance if they are not enrolled in the school.

  2. Mobile App: Prevent saving feedback records with blank/whitespace comments

    The mobile app currently allows feedback submissions where the Comment field contains only whitespace, as long as a category is selected. Enhance validation to prevent saving feedback records when the comment is empty or whitespace-only.

  3. Academic Plan Mass Import needs to replace any current entries

    There is already request to create a MASS IMPORT feature. However, please make sure that the MASS IMPORT feature allows to override any entry already made.

  6. At-Risk Nightly Update Process Using Incorrect Date for Program 409 At-Risk Record for Student Truancy

    When the At-Risk Nightly Update Process is enabled and evaluates students for At-Risk indicator of Truancy, the Student At-Risk Indicator and the Program 409 record are populated with date the nightly update process is run. If the Truancy Date Met is prior to the date the process is run, the Student At-Risk Indicator and Program 409 records do not reflect the correct date when the student met the definition of Truant. The nightly update process will be updated to use the Truancy Date Met as the start date for the Student At-Risk Indicator and Program 409 At-Risk records.

  8. TOMS EDS: Translation Glossary (NEDS) Default Language

    Can the default state of this drop-down be set to blank/null? Instead of defaulting to a language (Arabic), we request that the system display a warning message or validation error (e.g., "Please select a language") to remind the user to make an active selection before saving/uploading.

  9. Prevent Loss of Scheduling Data

    Automatically make a backup of the Scheduling Results tables anytime someone runs the Scheduling Setup functions to "Blank out SMS" or "Blank out SSS". That way, results can be immediately restored.

  10. Grade Report Mark Analysis Report GPA does NOT include the Weight Advanced Placement /IB Courses option

    Please update the Grade Report Mark Analysis Report so that the GPA calculation honors the Valid Mark (GRC) option “Weight Advanced Placement / IB Courses.”
    This will ensure the report’s GPA matches district weighting rules.

  11. School of Choice- Multiple Window Options for Multiple School Years

    Currently, you cannot have multiple window dates open for multiple school year transfer applications. Schools who keep intra-district transfer requests open all year should be able to have another window date option for parents to apply for the upcoming school year as well and have a way to determine which school year it is for. Also have records of previous school years to see who has been on an intra and when they applied and when they were accepted/denied/waitlisted.

  12. Requesting Date Fields in HIS for Hand Entered Courses on the Transcript

    For state reporting, districts are required to report all high school credit courses completed during the current school year in the PEIMS Summer submission. When students complete high school credit courses outside of the regular school day schedule or virtually/online, the completed course information is manually entered to the transcript - there is no course section in the master schedule associated to the completed course. This in turn causes an issue for state reporting as there is no means to indicate the Begin Date indicating when the student began the course, only a Date Completed is available to indicate when…

    Clarifies that LEAs providing traditional independent study must document time value in hours or fraction of an hour for both work products and time spent in computer-based programs (Education Code (EC) Section 51747.5(b)(2)(A)(ii)).

    The documentation of time value in increments of an hour or fraction of an hour must occur before converting the associated time to a day of average daily attendance (ADA) but is not required to be done on an hour-by-hour basis.

    We are tracking info from the CDE on what the changes for Attendance Accounting will be for the various types of instruction covered by AB 176. As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

    To ensure the page functions correctly and to quickly take corrective action, add a warning message on the Attendance Recovery Bank (ARB) page when required District Settings are missing or when Minutes Utilized (ATT.AMU) records are unpopulated for Attendance Recovery-defined attendance records.

  16. High Quality CTE Course Indicator for virtual college courses

    In the CALPADS EOY CRSC extract files, college courses (Course Level = 23 or 24) that are assigned a CTE state course code (7000-8999) require a high Quality CTE Course Indicator. The 9.36 field should populate with a Y to indicate the course and teacher meet the High Quality CTE Course qualifications when the college CTE course is virtualized and no section or section school is assigned.

  18. Supplemental Attendance Management - Copy & Push/Pull Sessions

    Now that we are using Supplemental Attendance to capture all of our ELOP and AR sessions, we would like to have the ability to copy sessions within a school, and push/pull sessions between schools. A lot of our programs are exactly the same at all of our school sites, and our ELOP Coordinator has to create the same session 14 times.

  19. Add Recipient Drop-Down for Referral to Interventions Submission

    Description:
    When teachers submit a referral using the Referral to Interventions table, there is currently no way to direct the referral to a specific individual.

    It would be helpful to add a drop-down menu that allows teachers to select a recipient when submitting a referral. The drop-down could be populated from the Intervention Referral Settings field in School Options, ensuring schools can control and standardize who receives these referrals.

    Improves clarity and routing of intervention referrals

    Reduces manual follow-up and misdirected referrals

    Aligns teacher submissions with school-defined intervention workflows

  20. Add Options to the Auto/Mass Parent portal Creation screen

    Please add configurable options that allow districts to define the criteria used when auto-creating or mass-creating Parent Portal accounts.

    In addition to the current hard-coded requirements:
    - CON.EM populated with email address, and
    - CON.AP is set to Y,

    Please include the ability to use additional fields as criteria:
    - CON.CD (Contact Type) – specifically codes P1 and P2 for parent/guardian
    - CON.LW (Lives With)

    These additional filters would allow districts to properly identify actual parents/guardians who should receive an automatically created Parent Portal account.
