  1. Make "None" the First Choice on the Insurance Carrier Dropdown Menu

    When choosing to Require Insurance Info during PDC, parents have the option to choose "None" if they do not have insurance. Currently, the "None" option is listed alphabetically, halfway down the list. Can we have the "None" option populate as the first option on the Insurance Carrier Dropdown menu? This will remove the need to instruct parents to search for "None" alphabetically. It is not intuitive to search for "None" in the middle of the listed Insurance Carriers.

  2. TX Senior Preliminary Class Rank Listing Report– Show Full GPA When Value is 100 or Above

    When printing the Senior Preliminary Class Rank Listing report, any student with a GPA of 100 or greater has their decimal digits cut off — for example, a GPA of 100.1234 prints as simply "100." This makes the report inaccurate for schools using weighted or alternative GPA scales where values can reach or exceed 100. Please display the full decimal values on this report.

  3. State Electronic Test Scores - HTML Initial ELPAC mislabeled

    When selecting the HTML print option for Initial ELPAC scores under State Electronic Test Scores, the label displayed is "Scores Available in: HTML – Summative", when the report being accessed is actually for Initial ELPAC, not Summative.

  4. CA Ed-Fi: Include Student Cumulative GPA Data in the StudentAcademicRecord Sync

    The Cumulative GPA data element is not currently included in the StudentAcademicRecord Ed-Fi entity. Please add this element to the entity so we can use this for reporting and creating dashboards.

  5. Support CSU Direct Admissions (SB 640) – Data Export / Eligibility Classification

    California Senate Bill 640 establishes the California State University (CSU) Direct Admissions Program, which will require districts to provide student academic data to support CSU admission determinations. CSU and CCGI have not yet released technical or logistical guidance (e.g., data specifications, eligibility calculations, or submission process) for SIS vendors or districts.
    This idea is to track potential Aeries support for CSU Direct Admissions once official requirements are published.

    Currently the Aeries Public API only supports GET requests for the TCH (Teachers) table. There is no ability to insert, update, or delete teacher records via the API.

    As districts increasingly automate HR workflows through the API, the inability to manage TCH records programmatically creates a significant gap. Specifically:

  7. Assertive Discipline Referrer

    On the Assertive Discipline form, have the Referrer field auto-populate with the current user's Staff ID like the Discipline form does. Our staff expect this behavior to be consistent between the two pages.

  8. Allow insert Test Scores via the API

    As it stands, API permissions only allow for read/update in the test scores table. Without "insert", we'll always have issues with bringing in compatible data from 3rd party vendors (like Renaissance for instance).

    Please add this feature, as it will save a lot of admins a fair bit of hassle/extra steps in making this data available to staff & parents.

  9. Suspension Letter Text Editor to look at CON

    Currently, the Suspension Letter Text Editor pulls data from STU.PG for the primary guardian.
    The suspension letter always creates one letter addressed to the student’s Primary Guardian (STU.PG) and uses the student’s address from the Student record (STU). In a split family household this is not conducive.
    Additional letters are generated for Contacts with Mail Tag A (CON.MT = A).
    If a Contact’s name and address match the Primary Guardian, that contact is skipped to avoid duplicates.

  10. 504 Plans: User input error messages not useful

    The 504 page does not correctly handle common user input issues.

    If a user enters an Effective Date that is AFTER the End Date, they get the "Unexpected Error" page.

    This is NOT helpful for the user. This is a common and likely user input issue and should be displayed as such to them.

  12. CAPSDAC 2.0

    On 3/6/25 CAPSDAC announced Phase 2 of their data collection, which will greatly expand the type of data collected for PreSchool students. There will be multiple new files, similar to CALPADS. We will be meeting with them to try and get the layouts once they are finalized, so we can program it into our system. Please subscribe to this idea if you wish to be informed about the progress.

  14. Disable Residence Survey for Adults over 25

    We need the option to Disable the Residence Survey for Adult students over the age of 25 since they are not accepted by CALPADS. Per CDE: "A student in the homeless program cannot be over 25 years of age."

  15. Parent Data Confirmation - Parent ability to copy shared info between students

    When parent is completing DATA CONFIRMATION they should have the option to copy all contacts, family info, and income to all their other students at the same time. Not have to do one at a time. So when they move on to the other child, they would only only need to finish stu info, insurance authorization. Saving lots of time for parents with multiple students

  17. Declutter Payment Statement Report / Transactions

    Mitigate Excessively long Payment Statement Report. We use Aeries Payments to bill for our afterschool program and students who have been going to afterschool for several years now have a Payment statement multiple pages long with many very old and fully paid off charges still printing on it.

    I can see two good ways to achieve this.

    The simpler method would be to add more filters, such as an option to not print fully paid charges on the Payment Statement report. This would solve the excessively long report issue but would not clean up the payment transactions themselves.

  18. Attendance Recovery Bank Page to Display Student Special Programs field.

    On the Attendance Recovery Bank page can we add a column that shows the Special Programs (STU.SP)? This will allow us to see who is SPED, Concurrent, etc. The filter will allows to focus on certain student populations.
