Add UI functionality for Preferred Term and Course Request Packets
Add ability for users to set the PT (Preferred Term) field when configuring Course Request Packets. This would allow users to specify that all courses should go to a specific semester.

At-Risk Nightly Update Process Using Incorrect Date for Program 409 At-Risk Record for Student Truancy
When the At-Risk Nightly Update Process is enabled and evaluates students for At-Risk indicator of Truancy, the Student At-Risk Indicator and the Program 409 record are populated with date the nightly update process is run. If the Truancy Date Met is prior to the date the process is run, the Student At-Risk Indicator and Program 409 records do not reflect the correct date when the student met the definition of Truant. The nightly update process will be updated to use the Truancy Date Met as the start date for the Student At-Risk Indicator and Program 409 At-Risk records.

OpenID SSO and Aeries MFA
With the new OpenID SSO setup, THANK YOU!, there is a small issue in Aeries MFA still being enforced on accounts that not using Aeries for identity management. I need a way to turn it off for every user type/identity provider combination or just a way to add custom user types.

Long running process visibility page
Have a nightly processes that checks for possibly "hung" long running processes that have not completed within a reasonable time.
For example:
We just found that an "Update Attendance History" process was started in October (3 months prior), but never completed.
This also prevented the Scheduled process from running, so our AHS values were very out of date!If the system was monitoring for these types of interrupted processes and alerting someone... this could have been found and resolved much earlier!!

Academic Plan Page - For Staff, Limit Courses like Parent Student View
Currently, for Staff entering Courses into the Academic Plan, every Course in the district shows up in the dropdown. Can it be limited like it is for Parents and Students

TOMS EDS: Translation Glossary (NEDS) Default Language
Can the default state of this drop-down be set to blank/null? Instead of defaulting to a language (Arabic), we request that the system display a warning message or validation error (e.g., "Please select a language") to remind the user to make an active selection before saving/uploading.

Prevent Loss of Scheduling Data
Automatically make a backup of the Scheduling Results tables anytime someone runs the Scheduling Setup functions to "Blank out SMS" or "Blank out SSS". That way, results can be immediately restored.

Grade Report Mark Analysis Report GPA does NOT include the Weight Advanced Placement /IB Courses option
Please update the Grade Report Mark Analysis Report so that the GPA calculation honors the Valid Mark (GRC) option “Weight Advanced Placement / IB Courses.”

School of Choice- Multiple Window Options for Multiple School Years
Currently, you cannot have multiple window dates open for multiple school year transfer applications. Schools who keep intra-district transfer requests open all year should be able to have another window date option for parents to apply for the upcoming school year as well and have a way to determine which school year it is for. Also have records of previous school years to see who has been on an intra and when they applied and when they were accepted/denied/waitlisted.

Add a "Push to Other Schools" feature to the Next Year Terms page like the Next Year Calendar page has. And add the NDY and NTM tables to the "Push and Pull Setup Tables" page.

Parent Reporting Attendance through Parent Portal
If Aeries could create attendance reporting enhancements that would allow for the following:
1.) Parents submitting attendance through their parent portal (This would also need to permit file uploads for doctor's appointments etc), it would eliminate needing to verify if a person submitting attendance is permitted or not. It would also be great to add a permission where absence reporting can be available for a student when they turn 18.
2.) A easy to use dashboard for attendance clerks to approve these submittals and mass fill in attendance codes either by period or all day.

Publish maintenance windows
A table of maintenance windows for each calendar year should be published so that admins and users can plan accordingly. Pin a calendar with upcoming maintenance onto the Aeries Support homepage.

Add Version Control / Release Wave Selection
Add a versioning option for customers to control when they move to the latest release, either as an explicit version selection or as a release cycle preference (eg, Stable - Updates infrequently/semi-annually and always to a well-tested version, Latest - the most current version as of current date, Preview - beta/test version that is soon to be released, available for sandbox to test upcoming features).

Requesting Date Fields in HIS for Hand Entered Courses on the Transcript
For state reporting, districts are required to report all high school credit courses completed during the current school year in the PEIMS Summer submission. When students complete high school credit courses outside of the regular school day schedule or virtually/online, the completed course information is manually entered to the transcript - there is no course section in the master schedule associated to the completed course. This in turn causes an issue for state reporting as there is no means to indicate the Begin Date indicating when the student began the course, only a Date Completed is available to indicate when…

Clarifies that LEAs providing traditional independent study must document time value in hours or fraction of an hour for both work products and time spent in computer-based programs (Education Code (EC) Section 51747.5(b)(2)(A)(ii)).
The documentation of time value in increments of an hour or fraction of an hour must occur before converting the associated time to a day of average daily attendance (ADA) but is not required to be done on an hour-by-hour basis.

As soon as we have all the information they intend to collect, and what the draft audit guidelines are, we can begin development on what changes we need to make for the upcoming school year, to be sure our customers can track the information needed for this reporting.

Print Barcode for Student IDs on Transcripts
As part of our Senior check out process, we supply a transcript to them. They then have to visit multiple locations to turn in books or pay for fees. Most of the Seniors will lose or forget their student ID so the option to print a bardcode for their student ID on the transcript would help this process.

Allow for Transcript Term GPA to be printed without recomputing the GPA for the student
We would like the system to honor the district-level setting that prevents GPA recalculation, ensuring that transcript reports accurately reflect the stored weighted term GPA without triggering a recalculation of the student’s GPA. Maintaining the integrity of the originally calculated GPA is critical for accurate academic reporting, as these values are often used for official transcripts, class rankings, eligibility determinations, and communication with staff, students, and parents.
