Requesting a Next InterDistrict Transfer Expiration Date.
In preparation for the end of year rollover, I would like to request a Next InterDistrict Transfer Expiration Date. I manage the rollover area very carefully and the expire date does not exist for next year's transfers.

Transcript auto populate the Year according to the last entry
In previous years, the following would happen when entering multiple grades onto a transcript.
Click "Add One Record"
Click "School" then "Year", then "Grade", etc....
To add another grade to the same transcript, I would:
Click "Add One Record"
AERIES would auto populate the "School", "Year", and "Grade", according to the last entry
This year, the "School" and "Grade" are auto populated, but the "Year" is not. This really slows down the process of hand entering grades. I hope it can be changed back to the way it was in all previous years.2 votes -
Make Contact Linking More Intuitive
When using Contact linking it is unclear in the pop up that you are choosing for both primary contact 1 and primary contact 2 regardless of which contact you are trying to link. For example, you are on primary contact 2 and you get the same pop up window as you do on primary contact 1, you might think you are only linking numbers for primary contact 2 and have the option to link two numbers for contact 2, when in reality you are overwriting your contact 1 selection if you put anything in the top box.

Online Enrollment/Data Confirmation - Medical History - Certification Confirmation for No Medical History
Add a confirmation check box on the Medical History Page where the parent can click that states something like "I confirm/certify that my student does not have any medical conditions." Even better would be that they have to check this box or add a medical condition record before moving on to the next page.

Gradebook Assignment By Student Report is Auto Created and emailed to the teacher after a student is deleted
When a student is deleted from the Manage Students tab, Gradebook creates a backup of the student's data just in case this data is ever needed or if by chance the deletion was in error.
That is great, but is it possible the email to the teachers can help explain what is going on, rather than a confusing email?
Maybe the email needs something like: "We noticed a change in your rosters, so we are making a backup of your gradebook "

Attendance Notes Dropdown - code column not visible
Attendance Notes dropdown - Please swap places in the dropdown of how attendance notes are viewed by placing the code to the left of the description. A lot of instruction at the local level are written out with the code to use, but it's not easily visible in the dropdown.

Check box to allow or disallow parents to view student alias
Have an option to show or not show the student alias to parents in the parent portal/reports cards etc... For instance, if a student has an alias but the parents are not aware there should be an option for admin to check so that the legal name shows on all documents like report cards and parent portals but keeps the student portal showing the alias. This way we are not outing students and also not deadnaming them.

Classroom Number Limit
Our admins would like to create new classroom numbers to distinguish between classes for another school. Currently the limit is 6 characters for classroom number. They would like it increased to 10 characters.

Color Code Name Banners based on STU.SP
With status tags there are different colors used to represent active, inactive, etc. It would be nice if there could be some type of color coding potentially on the student's name banner to reflect what program they are in such as Independent Studies, Home Hospital, Regional, etc. That way you can see right away if a student is in a different program rather than having to go to demographics or running a query

Can the Search function for looking for a student already in the database before adding a student be changed to be exclusive when new search
Can the Search function for looking for a student already in the database before adding a student be changed to be exclusive when new search elements are added instead on inclusive (for example, currently if I do a search for Smith, John I get all Smith last name plus all John first name, as opposed to only students with exactly Smith last name and John first name)

Income Survey/FRE record/Parent email
Please include the Income Survey on the ICL table. Our auditors want to have a date and time stamp and electronic signature in our audit for the Income Survey and the IP address.
The Data Confirmation Report gives the date/time but not who filled it out. It is not complete for our needs.
Another request, please include the email address of the person completing the record on the FRE record.

Language Assessment EL end date updates current year LIP program record end date
Currently a reporting error generates for students who are previously EL, but have been reclassified RFEP, while also already having an LIP record reported to CALPADS. Programming resolution would be to create a SQL data event trigger. Anytime an LAC EL end date is populated, any LIP program record with a null end date would have the same date cascaded to the current year LIP record end date.

Create a way to truly randomize the scheduling of students when Course Requests are identical and the Course ID's are duplicate.

Student Absent or Tardy Report - Enhance headers to display information from Contact Linking.
Student Absent or Tardy Report - Enhance report to support Contact Linking information. Headings are hardcoded to display original Fathers Work and Mothers Work. If Mother's information is listed in Contact Linking as Primary 1 it display's under the Father heading.

Attendance by Photo/Seating Chart - Make student fields visible
Display student fields on the Attendance by Photo/Seating Chart page for the teacher without having to click the information icon to open up an addition window. It would be helpful to teachers to have the information visible as it is on the Attendance page. This could be a feature in Next Gen.

CRDC - Make Multi-Part Identifier Error more friendly/Change to warning
CRDC The multi-part identifier "STU2.ID" could not be bound. Make the error more user friendly to identify the issue. Or get rid of the error all together and make it a warning when there is no data to report.
