Incomplete Grade determined by an Incomplete Assignment score
Is there a way to make a rule in Aeries that would allow us to enter an I (Incomplete) into the missing summative assessment assignment, with the result being that students and parents would immediately see an I (incomplete) rather than a letter grade for that class in Aeries until they complete that assignment?
Basically, if an I is entered as an assignment, can it make an I as the cumulative grade that parents and students see?

Improve the Search Functionality
We have had several complaints about how the student search works. Users cannot enter First Last because it pulls no results. Similarly, two last names with no hyphen does not work. Fuzzy search makes it worse.
It would be helpful to have a more dynamic/intuitive search similar to how the ctrl+F command works, as most other SIS have.4 votes -

Summer Course Request Print Button
Summer school course request needs a print button. We do not roll our student in until school is over. Counselors must go to the summer letter to print a student copy of the summer school course request schedule. It needs a print button like the regular school year course request has.

SENR Reconciliation for Prior Years
Please add an option to reconcile SENR for prior years using the existing SENR ODS Reconciliation system/logic. Currently, when making adjustments to past enrollment data (ie. family claimed to be moving to another CA district but left the state instead, causing an ERD), the adjustments need to be made manually in both Aeries and CALPADS. We'd like to be able to only make the changes in Aeries and use the standard reconciliation process.

Security: Please Allow User Access to the "Query Change Button" ONLY and NOT the "Query Change Command" to Prevent "Accidental" Mass Update
Ticket #346128: We have just recently learned about the "Query Change Command" and what impact it would have should a User be given that permission, in addition to the Mass Update permission to a Table.
What Has Been Done: We followed the information provided to us and read through the article from AERIES support. We then replicated it using one of our users. We could not find a way to get the CHANGE BUTTON to appear without the CHANGE QUERY COMMAND permission, which would be the ideal solution for us. Gradebook: add Override for Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade option
Gradebook has an option: Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade. The Min often set to 50 to avoid giving a student a "nuclear F." At the spring 2023 conference, a customer asked for an override to be added. So, in most cases, with the option selected for the Gradebook, the Min as set would be in effect. But for a specific student/assignment/score, the minimum could be overridden so that a zero score (or some score below the Min) would be applied. The specific use case scenario mentioned was a student who plagiarized the assignment.

Can we please get subtotals and report totals added to the Monthly Attendance Summary Analysis Report. This would greatly improve quality of life and usability of data for schools with non-ADA TK, multiple tracks etc.

ParentSquare Contact update deep linking
Contact Verification and parents attempting to update phone numbers and emails in parentsquare is a pain... We'd love to see full integration to allow parents to change their data in parentsquare and push back into Aeries. A second-best solution would be to use deep linking back into Aeries to point parents to the correct place to update their contact information within Aeries.

SINF Contact for Restricted Contacts
Can there be a way to pull a Restricted Contact (CON.CD) into the SINF extract for Parent/Guardian Name/Ed Level? Some parents are considered restricted but they still have ed rights and should be included with the SINF extract even if they are coded as R-Restricted.

TX - Disable Transcript Averaging for Certain Courses
Add function that allows user to specify at the course-level whether course should be included in transcript averaging. For example, if a student completes a credit recovery course, that course should not average with the original course. Another possible solution would be to average based on course number rather than PEIMS ID.

SSA date from a previous district
Need the ability to input an Assertive Discipline record that can be tagged as a violation at a previous school...used solely to track an SSA violation from a previous district. At our court school and some other schools, teachers need to know if a student has had a SSA violation from a previous district, but we don't want to input it manually as it could be confusing as to why they have an SSA date that doesn't match any Assertive Discipline records at the current school. Transcript Report for all students
Please allow an option for the report to be run for all student grade levels sorted alphabetically by grade level by counselor.
If a counselor has multiple grade levels, the report currently prints alphabetically by student and grade levels need to be hand sorted. It would be nice if the report could be run 1 time instead of individual grade levels sorted by counselor.4 votes -

If they have a payment schedule set up, show Minimum Amount Due, otherwise, show Payment Schedule has not been set up.
