Expand LAC.EIT to support "IAELPAC" which is a standard state test
The LAC.EIT (English Test Name) field needs to be expanded from varchar(6) to support the new Initial Alternate ELPAC test... which Aeries imports as TST.ID = "IAELPAC" (which is 7 characters).
This idea is somewhat related to another idea regarding how Aeries handles the Alternate ELPAC tests.

Add ability to display only primary teacher when printing all student schedules
For print all student schedules, add ability to hide assistant teachers not marked as primary in SSE. Displaying all assistant teachers for some courses has confused students.

Please add an Attendance Notes report to Teacher portal so that the teacher can print attendance notes for their class for a week (or a time period they select).

do not report language fluency status
In Other Options in CALAPDS Extracts can we have a table or dropdown where we can select what Language Fluency (STU.LF) code(s) not to report to CALPADS? For example, we have a 'Waiting on **' code for students who are new to our district but not new to CA. This allows our ELPAC team to know they do not need to be Initially ELPAC tested and we are waiting to confirm ELAS. Online Enrollment - Have Authorizations from OE answer and log for PDC AUTH questions too?
Since there is the capability to have the online enrollment process answer the Authorization questions why can that not contribute to the Data Confirmation Status report. Is does not make sense to have a parent come in to the registration dept handling all the necessary questions and paperwork to only be told that they have to go home log into the portal and complete the data confirmation. More than half the parents leave thinking they have completed the registration process and show up at the school ready to start on the first day to only be told you need to…

Formatting of Report Comment section on Gradebook Assignments By Student Report
The current implementation does not allow for the teacher to format this field, so the parents see only one long sentence that runs off the page.
Enhance the gradebook by allowing for full HTML markup so that the teacher has full control over how the contents are displayed.
At the bare minimum, this field should auto-wrap within the page margins.

It would be very helpful if the Student Data Printout report could have the option to include Emergency Contacts, Medical Information and Contacts Red Flags.

SBG - Dual Immersion Program Needs Two Marks for Each Standard
For the Dual Immersion program, SBG standards need to have two marks for each standard, one mark is for the English ELA and the other mark is for the other language ELA (Spanish/Chinese/etc..). This allows teachers to submit the standar marks for each language where application per grading window.

In Permissions Table add Hover that displays table information
When managing the Permissions, it would be very helpful to have a hover option that provides information on the table and it's impact in using Aeries. With so many tables, this is difficult to understand what all the permissions affect.

Attendance by Photo/Seating Chart - Make student fields visible
Display student fields on the Attendance by Photo/Seating Chart page for the teacher without having to click the information icon to open up an addition window. It would be helpful to teachers to have the information visible as it is on the Attendance page. This could be a feature in Next Gen.

Would like to be able to make schedules visible by grade level
Our counselors would like to allow current students to see their schedules for next year, but not our pre-enrolled 8th graders who will be 9th graders next year. They don't want to make schedule changes for those students until just before school starts.

Expulsion letter text editor page
Would like to have an Expulsion Letter text editor page much like the Suspension and Discipline letter text editor page. This will need the ability to customize the return date to TBD or a district chosen option.

Stop deleting unenrolled students from StudentEducationOrganization Ed-Fi endpoint
When a student unenrolls from a district, Aeries deletes the StudentEducationOrganization from the Ed-Fi ODS. This means that the school district loses all the demographic data associated with unenrolled students. This record can be modified but should never be deleted.

Send Staff Race in StaffEducationOrganizationAssociation Ed-Fi endpoint
The Ed-Fi 3x mappings document shows that Aeries sends HispanicLatino Ethnicity for staff as a required field, but does not send race. School districts typically want both ethnicity and race for students and staff; currently, race data is only sent for students.

Can we add site admin as an option as a signatory on the independent study agreement as it only lists the student's teachers?

Early Release/Late Arrival (Supplemental Attendance)
There is a requirement for after school programs (ASES). CDE requires that we note early release/late arrival. We would like to accomplish this via a code in supplemental attendance. At this time, there is no way to add codes or comments.

Add Electronic Tag to Associated Teacher Records on Staff page
When you add an Associated Teacher Record on the Staff page in Aeries, it creates a TCH record for that teacher. You then have to navigate to the Teachers page to assign the Electronic tag (which is necessary for attendance taking and grades). The fact that you have to navigate to the teachers page kind of defeats the purpose of adding the Associated Teacher Records to the staff page. I recommend adding the Electronic tag to the Associated Teacher Records on the Staff page. Also, if this is done, maybe there can be logic set that will remove the Electronic…
