CCGI - API
It would be great if there was an API to CCGI. They had mentioned one and when we ask about it they said they are waiting on Aeries to reach out and create a timeline. Can an API be done? Is it in the plans?

TX Final Year Mark: Enhance Final Grade Calculation for Year Long Courses with the Same Service ID for Multiple Courses
When calculating average marks, the system currently only considers one prior and one current GRD record per Service ID. It does not account for scenarios where multiple GRD records exist for the same Service ID—either multiple current or multiple past marks—potentially leading to inaccurate grade averaging. SELA Conflict Report - Exclude TK Students
Enhance the SELA Conflict Report to omit TK students, as they are no longer participating in the ELPAC test.
Workaround: Run a SKIP query first. Then, run the report.

Classes - Create View "Fall", "Spring", Term 1, Term 2, Term 3, etc. and don't show terms not selected
Create a checkbox to View "Fall", "Spring", "Term 1", "Term 2", etc and when not selected, the courses for that term are NOT showing. Although currently, there is a "Schedule Only Spring", Fall courses are still showing.

Remove access to Gradebook for staff members who have an End Date in section staff
When a staff member has an end date in Section staff, remove access to that sections gradebooks, even if the staff member originally created the gradebook. Currently the staff member who created a gradebook always has access to it, and there is no mechanism in the Aeries UI to remove that access.

Add Additional warning on the Initialize GRD table page
Please add warning on GRD initialization page that a GRD table has already been created and doing it again, for a NEW mark or the same mark WILL delete the marks for WH/Comments and Citizenship.

Section Period Blocks in Flex Scheduling
Traditional scheduling has the Block field where you can specify a section meets across multiple periods. Yes in Flex you can create a period that spans the time frame of the class but that only gives you one opportunity to take attendance for that class, just once for that Flex period.
In our summer school they offer for credit classes that run all day and a student will only take one class. (This will show on their transcript) But the day is broken up with breaks where the students go outside, use the restroom, eat a snack, ect. The staff…

Have the Enforce TK Birth Dates setting for Online Enrollment not allow parents to change the grade level if TK grade level is designated.
Currently, when Enforce TK Birth Dates setting is on for Online Enrollment, a message pops up saying "Please enter a valid age in order to continue" if the student's birth date does not fall within the TK birth date ranges. But the parent is able to change the grade level to Kindergarten, or a different grade level in order to continue the enrollment process. The setting allows the parent to bypass the TK birth date rules by simply changing the grade level for their student to a higher grade, when their student isn't even eligible for TK.

When copying students from one class section to another, need a way to also copy the wait list to the new section as well
We sometimes have to create a new section in the master schedule and move students into it. Currently we mostly do this for teacher changes, or sometimes the addition of another section as well. We would like the option to copy over the wait list students as well. It appears the only way to do this currently is to add them one by one to the new section.

Can the text edit section be made larger or allowed to expand? Tt's quite difficult to edit a letter in such a small text box.
Unable to change the name of the letter SET after it's saved in Editor? Currently, the only way I can find is to delete the letter and re-add it.
Text editing is so limited. The font type is not the same for top and bottom text. Nowhere to choose another font either unless messing around with the HTML?

SINF Extract Filter date
We used to have a date filter option (on the previous CALPADS extract page)
Extract Only Data Changes:
Include any changes from the Date: _____ until now.The challenge we are facing is that the SINF file continues to grow. We have gone from 9000 records in mid-September to now 13,500 records. The file will only continue to grow as we progress through the year.
The time to process files in CALPADS is correlated to their size (number of records). So, the file will take longer and longer to process as the school year progresses.

Add "Scan", and "Take picture" functionality to Upload Student Document
In addition to 'Upload' files to the 'Student Document' table to add the option to 'Take Picture' and 'Scan' functionality to upload student documents. This would be similar to what we already have in the demographic screen to add student pictures. Currently, we scan documents, save the file to the hard drive, then upload the document to Aeries. This is a very inefficient way to upload documents.
