Gradebook Colors - display to parent portal
Hello,
I hope you are well. I wanted to ask the Aeries Team if they can incorporate an option form an Admin Setting to allow for editing colors for Letter Marks when viewed from the student portal/parent portal perspective.

Search by SSID on Attendance Management Page
On the Attendance Management page, there is no option to search for a student by their SSID.
Could this be added?
Because of CALPADS this is an identifying item that is used more and more.2 votes -
Incident Lookup popup usability issues
The Incident Lookup dialog (accessible from the Behavioral Emergency page & other places??) has a few issues.
The Start / End Date values seem to be inconsistently set. Sometimes the values are MM/DD/YYYY and other times the value is YYYY/MM/DD.
The search results are district wide, but the student # displayed is STU.SN and not STU.ID, which would be more useful.
It would also be nice to (optionally) filter for only incidents involving the current student.

District Attendance Letters for Farsi (Persian), Arabic and Hebrew
District Attendance Letters created in the languages of Farsi (Persian), Arabic and Hebrew need to be adjusted to print from right to left.

Change LAC.L2 field from Primary to Guardian or Parents
Please change the label of Primary on the LAC.L2 field to Guardian or Parents. Having the label of Primary is confusing to staff since the label for LAC.L1 is listed as First.
Primary and First are similar and may cause confusion when entering the responses from the Language Survey into Aeries.

would like to see an option where we could add the shot and date for better tracking purposes. Currently, we could add the date in the comment area.

Attendance Notes Usage Report - Add filter and sort options for Teacher in elem w/MST daily

Street Address Report by Street Name - was in Client would like in .net

Test Scores - Add option to View/Not View Lexile or Quantile fields to parents
Please add Option to allow parents to view or Not View Lexile or Quantile fields for test scores. Currently, there is no way to limit these fields in Portal Options or in Security for Parent Portal group.

In Authorizations a check Box for the AUT.TY, AUT.ST and AUT.CD fields
When entering Authorizations for a student from the Admin portal, use a check box for the AUT.TY, AUT.ST and AUT.CD fields that quickly can be marked for each appropriate grade-level permission. The permissions should be visible in a quick list view that can be marked appropriately as a parent/guardian views in the Parent Portal/Parent Data Conformation view. The AUT.DT and AUT.SDT should default to the current date but can also be changed by the Admin user that is updating this information.

Gradebook - Add an Option to hide Missing Assignment Counter
I am going to enter manually running cummulative scores from several platforms. So, the assignment completion and scores will be saved and stored in those platforms and only the overall score will be typed into aeries..... If it says 0 missing assignments in aeries, there may actually be many missing assignments......
Is there an way that we could create an option which could say: Missing assignments are not indicated. Please see the platforms where your work is graded and stored.

Placeholder image for photos
When a student photo does not exist, instead of the Seating Chart in the Attendance by Photo screen showing a broken image icon (because it is, imo, malformed HTML (a bug!)) load a static placeholder image.

Is invalid HTML, the source is not complete because it contains no actual data, eg an image of 0 length. Detect this state when building your base64 insert into the HTML and substitute in the placeholder when LEN = 0 for the data pulled from PIC.

Please center the Gradebook name on the Class Summary on the Profile Page
In Aeries, on the profile page for each student, the Gradebook section has a formatting issue where the name of each gradebook is not centered in the space - they are all at the top of the space.
I know this is a small thing, but makes Aeries look less than amazing. And it's amazing!

Printable student photos in a variety of sizes
Allow us to make flash cards of our students so that we can learn their names more quickly. The seating chart photos and names are too small for this purpose.

The Aeries Teacher App includes a wonderful matching game to help teachers learn student names. This is available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Master Schedule and Scheduling Master pages: make Track field display COD values for STU.TR
On the Scheduling Master page (SchedulingMaster.aspx) and the Master Schedule page, the Track field will allow any single character to be saved. Instead, the field should display a dropdown with the school's codes and descriptions for the STU.TR field from COD, and save the STU.TR codes.

Online Enrollment - Resident Parent Screen
Please remove the "Does this parent/guardian live with the student?" question and drop-down list from the Resident Parent screen. As this is the resident parent screen, CON records created from this screen should have a CD value of P1 or P2 and a LW value of Y.
