  1. Grade Reporting - Calculate and Display a Yearly Cumulative GRD GPA

    We would like to calculate and display a current year cumulative GPA:
    on the GRD Report Cards,
    in the Parent Portal,
    and in a report for end of year awards.

    The yearly cumulative GRD GPA is needed to calculate end of year awards and to monitor students. There is also no way to print out a yearly cumulative GPA on the report card. Our Trimester 3 report card should be cumulative for the year and it's not. We have to print out 3 separate report cards with 3 separate GPAs to file in the cums.

  2. Create a Classroom Accommodation page for 504s - IEP - EL - Health plan

    It would be nice to have one page that all classroom accommodations were listed for students not a separate one for 504's and then nothing for classroom accommodations for IEPs, English Language Learners, or students with health plans. That way if on the attendance sheet there was a 504/IEP/EL student the teachers would only need to go to one page to see the any class accommodations.

    It would be even better if this linked to a popup with the accommodations for a student on the attendance page. This would allow teachers to not have to leave the attendance page to…

  3. Better way to do letters for suspension days that roll over from the prior year

    The Request assigned and served days in ADS works okay for students that get suspended on the last few days of school and need to finish serving their suspension the next year; however, the letter that prints only shows the days served in the prior year and not the full suspension details. It would be better if we could either print both letters, which you currently can't print because the next year is not set up, or link the suspensions and have the letter include all the dates and details.

  4. Parent Educational Level Survey in the Portal Options under the Parent Data Changing Tab

    We would love to have a Parent Ed Level survey similar to the Income Survey.

    Each Parent Level response could then be inserted in the CON.ELV field in the Contacts (CON table) just like FRE code assignments from the income survey are inserted into the FRE table.

  5. Improve the Search Functionality

    We have had several complaints about how the student search works. Users cannot enter First Last because it pulls no results. Similarly, two last names with no hyphen does not work. Fuzzy search makes it worse.

    It would be helpful to have a more dynamic/intuitive search similar to how the ctrl+F command works, as most other SIS have.

  7. online enrollment - Move or change buttons for parent view

    At this time, there is not a way to move the ADD button to the top of the page.

    When parents are completing the registration forms online and are adding the emergency contacts, would it be possible to move the ADD button to the top of that section?
    It is currently at the bottom and parents often do not see it and do not add additional emergency contacts. Thank you in advance for your time in looking into this.

  8. New Report - Custom Class List

    We are in need of a report from Aeries that looks like the document attached. This would be used for current school year class lists and for next school year class lists (projections).

    I tried to recreate it several times and was not able to. The built in class list in Aeries is missing information requested by my administrator.

    The document attached has the tables where the data would come from. However, there are some fields that do not correspond to data in Aeries, so a drop down or manual field would be useful.

  10. Online Enrollment - Mailing Address

    In Online Enrollment Student Address page, the "Use residence address above as mailing address" question defaults to Yes. Add the feature requiring parents to answer that question rather than defaulting to yes before proceeding to the next page.

  11. Attendance - Update Notes when you use Update ATT Data

    We are able to update attendance with attendance code for a date range using the Update ATT Data.
    Can we also update the attendance notes for same date range. So that we don't have to add the note date day by day. (not the same as Mass Update)

  12. Standards Based Grading - Require Comments

    Our school district wants to require teachers to make comments when uploading grades. We see the "require comment" option for GRD under "portal options". However, we do not see an option to require comments for SBG. It would be nice to have a require comments setting at a higher level for admin only.

  14. Master Schedule - Default View

    I would love this page to default to show ALL ACTIVE sections. Our section list defaults to show ONLY ONE - the lowest section number, which happens to be inactive. It is irritating that in order to view all sections, I have to first erase the default number that appears in the search bod, and then click "Go" - see screenshot.

    Additionally, I would love it if all the inactive sections were hidden by default (with a clickable box to show them if desired). Showing all inactive sections can get very confusing because we have many inactive sections with the…

  15. Teachers Page - Default to "Hide Inactives" and Sort by Name

    Make Teacher page default to "Hide Inactives" and sorted by Name -

    I almost never want to view staff sorted by their ID number and rarely need to reference info for Inactive teachers/staff, so the Teachers page would be much more user friendly if the defaults were to sort by name and hide inactives.

  17. Summer Course Request Print Button

    Summer school course request needs a print button. We do not roll our student in until school is over. Counselors must go to the summer letter to print a student copy of the summer school course request schedule. It needs a print button like the regular school year course request has.

  18. Query - Create custom column headers e.g. LIST STU STU.ID STU.U1 AS "IEP"

    For reports with duplicate or non-meaningful column headers add an 'as' verb to the query to for the column header:

    LIST STU STU.ID STU.U1 as "IEP" would yield:

    Student ID | IEP | ...

    112345 | IEP | ..

    also for description fields instead of DC_ xyz

    LIST STU STU.ID STU.PED? AS "Parental Education" STU.GR, ...

  19. Option to display a different teacher name on Report Cards and Progress Reports or Class Rosters

    Would like to be able to select an option to choose which name is displayed on certain reports when a Long Term Substitute is assigned to a class in Section Staff. We had a teacher who went on leave the day before the grading period window opened and Admin and LTS would have preferred Primary Teacher names show as she had left grades to be entered.

  20. Section Period Blocks in Flex Scheduling

    Traditional scheduling has the Block field where you can specify a section meets across multiple periods. Yes in Flex you can create a period that spans the time frame of the class but that only gives you one opportunity to take attendance for that class, just once for that Flex period.

    In our summer school they offer for credit classes that run all day and a student will only take one class. (This will show on their transcript) But the day is broken up with breaks where the students go outside, use the restroom, eat a snack, ect. The staff…
