Hide Current Info from Students and Parents during Grading Window- Extended!
Hi!
I think the feature in Portal Options- "Hide Current Info from Students and Parents during Grading Window" should have the option to be extended and not only be during the window but also have a manual date option. The rationale is so that we can close the teachers grading window and then finalize the reporting process. We always have changes that are submitted after the window closes, before we upload the report cards into RCH and the way it is now, parents/students can view the grades before we finalize. SINF - Contact Analysis Flowchart
The current Contact Analysis Flowchart seems to hinder accurately reporting student demographics information to CALPADS.
We would like step 1 to consider IF District Settings have any defined Guardian code(s).
IF Guardian codes have been established, reported contacts should be limited to Contact records using those codes.
IF a particular student does not have any contacts with a CON.CD matching one of the defined Guardian codes, then that student shouldn't have any contacts extracted due to not having the required information entered.

Academic Plan Counselor summary limited to the Current Year
The other thing that Counselors have commented to me is that the Summary would be more useful if the numbers in each column could apply to a time period (e.g. one year). Our Counselors would like our student/Families to review/revise their Academic Plan EACH YEAR before scheduling. It would be helpful for them if the Columns Approved, Pending Submission, Pending Approval, & No Action could be limited to a certain time period (like the current Academic Year). Missing Attendance - Add Different time stamps for Attendance Submission
Our elementary schools are set up with AM and PM sessions. Each teacher has two teacher records, one for AM and one for PM. When taking attendance, both sessions are time-stamped with the same AM time-stamp. For security issues, our office staff needs to know when the teacher has taken attendance for the PM session.

Import Gradebook Assignment Comments from Spreadsheet
When we import grades from a spreadsheet, can you please allow for comment imports! We spend so much time adding comments to student work that it would be great to have the option to import comments along with the student ID number and total score.

Create a Report Detailing Students Early Warning Points
From Analytics we can get the student name and total # of points but not the details. Many of the administrators would like to be able to generate a report that lists these details of how a student reached the total points. Please create a report similar to the Student Indicator Details page that lists students with the early warning points that they have earned for each indicator.

Missing Mark Report needs to be modified for missing "Required" grade fields
The report needs to be modified so it is easier to read when using the Portal Option "Required" fields. If printing the missing Required Field, the report should also print the mark populated.

District Assets - Already Paid for Warning
When a student has lost and paid for an asset but then the asset is found and turned in, there should be a notice that lets us know the item was paid for in case a refund to the student is appropriate.

Grade Mark Verification Listing - Add page break on Teacher
Printing a signature line adds a page break by teacher to the report. Not selecting to add a signature line will print the teacher on the same page without a break. Please add a page break on teacher regardless of adding a signature line to the report.

Attendance - Disable data entry on periods where the student has no classes
On the Attendance page, please disable the period columns from data entry when the student does not have classes that meet during that period. Currently, no dashes display but an absence code can still be entered and saved.

When an asset is returned, it needs to give the option of taking the asset charge out of Financials like it currently does in fees.

Student Display between District and School
When viewing a student at district level, and we switch to the student's school, it does not remain on the same student. Can it be fixed so that when we switch to the student's school, the same student is still on screen? I do district wide search for a student, find them, add the fee, have to change to their school to print the fee letter, and the student changes each time.

Assertive Discipline - Display Date of Disposition field in record selector
When you first tab to Assertive Discipline page, you view entered records from previous referrals and you see in the blue bar area stating "Select a Record to View Details". At this point you can see "Date", "Violation", and "Action". I would also like to see the "Disposition Date". This would allow me to see if student has been issued detention (or other action taken) and for what date. When a student has multiple records that she/he has been assigned a discipline action for, and I need to assign another action for a new offense, this would eliminate me having…

Staff - Inactivating a Staff record
This is a request that when we inactivate staff to also have the ability to inactivate the "Next Year Status" on the Teacher record.
