Custom registration grade range for AIR Online Enrollment
We would like to request an option to set a custom registration grade range for AIR Online Enrollment. One of our Tk-8 Schools (Telesis) is a permit only school for grades TK-6. Parents are enrolling online with school Telesis and having to be informed that they cannot attend this school without getting a permit etc. Being able to set the grade range to 7-8 for this school without changing the school options would be helpful.

Class Rosters - Enable Option to Run By Room Number
With teachers sharing classrooms, it would be helpful to be able to run teacher rosters and sort by classroom and period. We keep hardcopy lists in the event of an emergency so teachers & subs can 'grab and go' but it takes time to manipulate the data and print in room number order to put into the classrooms.

Have a SQL Repository for common used SQL queries
Have a repository or forum for commonly used sql queries by context.
Including, but not limited to..Demographics
Contacts
Enrollment
Schedules
Grades\Transcripts
Health
Behavior
Etc..This would be a useful resource as a base for extracting data for current and new DBA's to the aeries system.
This could also be a repository for DBA's to share their own SQL Queries as well.11 votes -
Allow Parents and Students to edit Student Personal Email (STU.SPE)
Allow Parents and Students to edit Student Personal Email (STU.SPE) for all outgoing seniors. This will allow districts to ensure "alumni" accounts are created without significant staff burden of data collection efforts.

Scheduling Course Request Letter to Parents: support print different versions of letter
Currently, in order to support multiple translations, the Course Request Letter Text Editor allows multiple versions of the letter to be saved. But in order to print different versions, each one is associated with a different STU.CL. The customer would like to be able to save multiple versions of the letter, then select which letter to send to which student(s) (based on a criteria other than Correspondence Language).

Allow Student Groups to be shared to Security Groups
Where there is an option to share a Student Group to a specific user in STF, allow sharing to a security group.

New Parent Portal - Highlight / Contrast Pre-Enroll Records
On the new Parent / Student Portal, the student drop down does not have any contrast between Active records and Pre-Enrolled records.
Families are finding it difficult to find the 'Pre-Enrolled' record to submit future course requests.
If this could be highlight a different color and maybe some BOLD text stating Pre-Enrolled, it would help visually distinct the accounts.

Hide Schedule for Future Term - Improved Logic

Background
During summer parents are able to complete re-registration. Schools do not want their schedules/classes/teachers to be show to parents/students. The feature above works during active terms,
just not during summer.In order to hide this information, we must change "Portal Groups" for parents & students so they can not see…

CCGI Extract - Course Level mapping options
Currently, the CCGI Extract page only lets you map HIS and SEC by terms. We have unique courses that need to be mapped individually, so it would be nice for the extract to somehow allow for more flexible mapping of the WIP and Terms being sent to CCGI.
Example - We are a Trimester-based Scheduling school, but the courses are technically "Semester" length courses (earning 5 credits). This means many of the T2 sections of courses can either be considered S1 or S2; however, the extract only allows to map it to one or the other.

CALPADS SPRG ODS orphaned records -All other eligibility orphaned Program records not being deleted that no longer exist
Compare CALPADS SPRG ODS records against Aeries and delete all other program records that exist in the ODS file but no longer exist in Aeries. These are records that become orphaned after being added to Aeries, uploaded to CALPADS, then deleted from Aeries and no longer exist. Previously, participation records, FRE and Homeless records were handled separately. This idea will capture all other Eligibility Programs not already being deleted when they no longer exist.

Physical Fitness - Leave the Test Status blank in Aeries PFT since the state is no longer calculating a "pass" or "no pass"
Last year, we received quite a few confused parents due to the Test Status in the Aeries PFT screen. Since the state is no longer calculating a “pass” or “no pass,” this test status is showing as “Not Tested/Undetermined,” although the student has been tested. We want to request that Aeries leave the test status blank instead of this confusing message.

When certain fields are updated on the ECD page, have those fields prepopulate to the EESD-9600 Form when available.

Online enrollment documents - disable function to add files from previous registrations
We would like to have the option to disable the function that allows parents to upload files from previous registrations in online enrollment. Parents are selecting residency files from registrations they completed 3 or 4 years ago and we require residency documents to be within the last 6 months. Our offices are having to contact the families to ask them to submit updated documents and then clear out the "bad files" from the Student Documents after importing the student.
