  1. MOVE GPA History (GRG) from Extracurricular Activities Page to it's own page under GRADES

MOVE GPA History (GRG) from the Extracurricular Activities Page to it's own page under GRADES. I have the need to calculate cumulative GPA for only T1, T2, T3 of the current year only to determine end of year awards. The cumulative GPA counts either current term or ALL grades in the transcript page. I currently have to query the GPA for the correct terms, then export into excel and calculate the cumulative YEAR GPA. It would be nice to first of all have these term GPA's in an appropriate location like under GRADES, then to have aeries calculate cumulative GPA…

  2. Student Summons Call Slip Name change

Rename the Student Summons Call slip to Student Call Slip or something that does not have the word summons in it. Our parents feel as though students are being called to court or called in to school for a legal matter when they see the word summons.

  3. Delete unpaid fees, from old student, associated with an asset upon new check out

If there is a current, unpaid fee associated with an asset, for being lost, stolen, or not returned, that fee should be deleted, or marked as paid if the device is subsequently checked out to another student.

  6. Course Request History Log

Now that we are in course requests and are making many changes to our reverse verification reports. It would be nice to have a history of changes and when in-course requests. A log of classes students asked for but could not get. This is because sometimes changes happen. A button or space on the bottom that is similar to the course attendance screen. Maybe even a drop-down menu for reasons the change was made. Academic concern, conflict/ availability, space in a course, course canceled etc

  7. Correct syncing between Auto Notices and Aeries

When the verbiage for Text notifications is removed in Communications, the Auto Notice Template is no longer recognized by Aeries. This bug means that we are not able to send out Auto Notices to voice messages or emails only, but are forced to include Text messages.

  9. Give permissions to teachers to view the MST board

Teachers need an overall view of where to find other teachers during class, especially in the case where teachers have to share rooms, or move from one room to another.

  10. Certification Result to show without having to open the record

Can Aeries add a space to view the Certification Result on the Activities and Awards screen?
At first glance, it looks like this kid got the ServSafe Manager Certification and needs to have a performance acknowledgment added but When you open the record you can see that he actually failed the exam.

  12. Create a way for Districts to exclude External Identity Provider accounts from the MFA/DUO process

Create a way for Districts to exclude External Identity Provider accounts from the MFA/DUO process.
    Use Cases may include:
    1. District uses Azure AD which prompts them for Microsoft Authenticator before allowing the login.
    OR
    2. District uses Google Sign-in, and requires MFA on their Google Accounts.
They then are required to enter MFA/DUO, which is yet a second time they are asked to do any sort of multifactor authentication

  13. Identify 18YO High School Students

For high school seniors who are 18 years old who do not want parents to have access to their records - a field to identify them. The field could be used to query/KEEP/ or create student groups, but also identify to vendors (Naviance, Canvas, ParentSquare, SportsNet and others) to not share (or limit access) data with parents. Currently, our only option is to change Contacts records, which is inadequate. Also, a notice (similar to what pops up when putting in an assertive discipline record on a special ed student) to remind counselors and staff to include student in all attendance…

  14. Contacts English Only

When a parent types in contacts using the parent data confirmation in another language such as Chinese it does not translate to English for our staff to read. Please either only allow English to be typed into the parent data confirmation or translate it back to English for the schools to read.

  15. Consider adding the following Family Language Instrument questions to Aeries Online Enrollment for CSPP reporting on dual language learners

The California State Preschool Program (CSPP) contractors are required to identify and report data on children that are dual language learners with the new Family Language Instrument. Consider adding the following Family Language Instrument questions to Aeries:
    1) Which language(s) does your child hear at home?
    2) Which language(s) does your child hear in their neighborhood and community?
    3) Which language(s) does your child understand?

  17. Special Ed Class List Report

Is it possible to add an SID column to the "Special Education Class List" report?

Our SPED folks find it time consuming to have to lookup the SID for every student of interest from this report.

  20. Gradebook: add Override for Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade option

Gradebook has an option: Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade. The Min often set to 50 to avoid giving a student a "nuclear F." At the spring 2023 conference, a customer asked for an override to be added. So, in most cases, with the option selected for the Gradebook, the Min as set would be in effect. But for a specific student/assignment/score, the minimum could be overridden so that a zero score (or some score below the Min) would be applied. The specific use case scenario mentioned was a student who plagiarized the assignment.
