  1. Classes Page - Make the CAR date default to the Enrollment Date when enrolling a student.

    When enrolling a student, the system defaults to today’s date for the enter date, and then when you add classes, it switches the CAR date to tomorrow’s date as the default. It makes no sense to me. It never has, and I hear it from others all the time. If we can’t change it, then please make it scream at me to verify or change the CAR date.

  3. Aeries EM2 - Add Correspondence Language

    Aeries EM2 doesn't contain the correspondence language of the parents that we could find. This would be very helpful information to be able to share with hospital staff and law enforcement. It would be helpful if it could be on the main Student page and the Contacts page .

  4. "Create Sections for Next Term" process is creating new sections for Inactive sections

    When creating Sections for next term SMS or MST, SPRING, Inactive sections are created from Fall Inactive sections. There should be an option to include or exclude inactive sections.

    It would be great if the Copy Many Student Records form retained the Options and Tables to Copy selections so that they don't have to be reset every time the form is used.

    Provide a report in Gradebook showing the relative effect or weight of each assignment's contribution to the current (final) grade.

  7. Analytics Dashboard Groups in list of Dashboards

    Allow custom dashboards to be organized into groups in the dashboard list. For example more than just "My Dashboards" and "Shared Dashboards". Have dashboards groups like: Grades Dashboards, Attendance Dashboards, and have the ability to place dashboards into those groups.

  8. ADA Make-Up Detailed Report

    Create a report that tells which absence was made up by a specific ADA makeup date attended. It should go by date of recovery session and contain:
    Time of session, Student ID, Student name, Grade, which date was recovered, and date the transaction was entered.

  9. Undo mass add portal accounts

    We would like to be able to quickly undo a mass add of portal accounts. Ex. Not using a KEEP statement can cause unintended data corruption. We would like an easy way to quickly revert rather than going through Aeries Support or doing a manual backup.

  10. Change the wording of LCAP dashboard title from "Special Ed Students" to "Students with Disabilities"

    Using People First language helps to describe the students as people first instead of a characterization always associated their disability.

  11. Ignore Required Fields for Specific Schools

    For schools that don't represent actively enrolled students (such as a Transfer School), allow a flag to turn off Required Fields so that minimal information is allowed to be added and updated for those student records.

    Under Interventions, Student Strengths could there be checkboxes instead of the dropdown to select strengths like teacher accounts have. This would make selecting strengths easier.

  14. Reduce Size of DOC Table - Nightly Process / External Storage Support

    Nightly process to either :

    -- Compress and/or reduce the dpi of documents found in
    the DOC table.

    -- DOC table link-able to another storage platform for cross-year storage to eliminate duplication during roll-over ( examples: Another external DB, Google Team Drive, Amazon Glacier, Share Point ).

    Goals:
    -- Reduce the size of the Aeries Annual DBs
    -- Improve daily performance
    -- Allow for better backup & retention policies.

    Background: In school year 2018-2019 we started using the DOC table to go 'paperless'. While this is a good
    feature for our staff, it caused our DB size to balloon well…

  17. Disabling Two-Factor Authentication for All Substitutes

    Please provide an option to disable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) specifically for substitutes. Since substitute codes expire after one day, substitutes are required to scan a new QR code each time they log in with a new sub code in order to set up MFA for that account. If teacher accounts are set to use Aeries MFA, there should be an option to disable MFA for substitutes to simplify the process.

    Currently, there is not a way to query which Academic Course Sequence is assigned to a student. Create a report or query to identify this information.

  19. Student Suffix

    In the Suffix field, the drop-down shows JR and SR. We would like them to show Jr. and Sr. instead. We add these to our diplomas and programs each year. We use find and replace each year to fix them.

  20. Add the ATN table for Attendance Notes to the Aeries API interface

    This change would allow these types of data to be shared with additional vendors (such as DeansList) via the Aeries API.
