CALPADS - LEAP Extract 2025/26 academic year
CALPADS announced a new LEAP extract file to be submitted for the Expanded Learning Program code 194. The LEAP extract will be part of the EOY submission beginning in 2025/26 school year. Aeries will create an extract process in CALPADS Extracts EOY tab. The file will be used to report the number of days a student participated in the Expanded Learning Program.

Hello, this work item has been completed and was released on 4/14/26. Here are the relevant revision notes:
- Student Data > Programs > Special Programs: A new Total ELOP Days field (PGM.TED) has been added to the Special Programs page. This field is visible and editable only on PGM records where the Program Code is 194. It stores the total number of unique ELOP participation days reported to CALPADS. If a district is managing that data in a 3rd-party system, this field can be updated manually.
- School Info > Imports and Exports > CALPADS Extracts:
- Two new buttons have been added to the EOY tab:
- Update ELOP Days Participated for All Students: Calculates total unique ELOP session days from Supplemental Attendance (ATD) records for qualifying students, as defined in District Settings, and writes the count to PGM.TED. If a PGM-194 record already exists, it will be updated. If no record exists, one will be created.
- Create Local Educational Agency Programs File (LEAP): The new LEAP extract is now available and will be used for CALPADS EOY Submission. See ELOP Data Management.
