NSLP Online Survey Provided by USDA
The USDA has a new online survey for the free and reduced lunch application. https://www.fns.usda.gov/cn/web-based-prototype-application
If something like this could be added to Aeries, that would be a great benefit to our school district. My understanding is that the online survey needs to filter into an SIS system. We currently use the Income survey on our parent data confirmation, but that seems inadequate.

Add attendance note prompt screen to confirm record deletion OR seperate save and delete button
In the Attendance Note window the save and delete button are right next to each other and often times the delete button is accidently hit and the entire record is instantly deleted. It would be most helpful if the buttons were separated OR if there was a "Are you sure you want to delete this record" prompt came up to protect the date entered.

Parent Data Confirmation - Homeless questionnaire
It would be great if the email address of the homeless liaison could be set up to automatically email the homeless liaison if a parent clicked on one of the options that indicated they/their family may be in a situation that could be considered homelessness.

Independent Study Attendance by Month- fill in Complete code, check box for Incomplete
We'd like Post Attendance by Month programming changed to allow the teacher to select "Absent/INcomplete" for each student that month, which likely is fewer days, and then can Select "Mark 'Present' if not absent" checkbox at the top, to fill in blanks/UNchecked days with the "Present/Complete" code.
In a recent ticket, Aeries support said: "When Portal options are set to Post Attendance by Month, there is no way to Mass post present ATT code; The teacher must select each STU Present first, then can select mark Absent if not present."
But most Ind. Study students "Complete" work each week, so…

Print School Leave Date on Transcript if Student Is an End of Year Leaver
If a student leaves at the end of a school year, the leave date does not print on the transcript. This is an issue for current and future enrollment verification purposes.

Use Contact First and Last Name instead of Mailing Name
For reports that use a contact's mailing name, provide the option to use the First Name and Last Name instead.

Enable HTML for Portal Document Requests Descriptions
The main description text for all document requests has a rich editor with html support, but the per-document request descriptions does not. We are collecting parent photos for on-campus badges at the elementary level and would like to put an example photo / link thereto in the specific document request item for these parent photos and not the main area that covers all document requests. thank you.

Option to give teachers student access on a specific date
Add an option in the portal groups that determines the date, or the number of days prior to the start of a term, that teachers can see who they have been assigned.

Can you please add a "Archive" section for Portal Documents that are from prior years and not being used for current year data confirmation?
The documents list is very impacted and we got confirmation from Aeries ticket that we cannot delete older documents that are hidden from parents views.
If there was an Archive section, then all the documents pertaining to years past can be "archived" and out of the current document view so the list is more manageable.

Allow Independent Study agreements to roll over year to year
Allow IS agreements to roll over year to year or have an IS history option where we can see the prior contracts in current year. This would help when providing information for audits.

Immunization show legal name AND GENDER
I can print Legal name using Print Student Immunization Cards Report Options, however it prints the preferred Gender and not the LEGAL Gender. Can we have it the option to Print Legal Name automatically include Legal Gender as well?

Remove the Limit Grade Range option button and always show/print grade 9-12 (based on grade levels at school)
We hate that the limit grade range low grade and high grade doesn't seem to stick to default 9-12. Please either remove the option button and always limit to 9-12. Off Course grades will still print no matter what the grade range. We really want the high grade to always be 12. Thank you.

Create virtual "Course Section IDs" in (CRSC) and (SCSC) For more transcript hand entries
Please add a 'trigger' field to create virtual Course Section IDs for other courses. (Just like the process that allows Aeries to create virtual Course Section IDs for Dual Credit courses that are hand entered onto the transcripts) And, add the fields to HIS (like you did for SDE) that can be populated for differing attributes depending on the circumstances. For Example: A course taken in an Independent Study program may be Distance Learning, or may not - the DLI field should be available. The MST would have indicated the differences in ESR, LI, INS, FS, TEP, ISI, DLI, OIT,…

During rollover give options to not pull documents from previous years.
Give option to select which data sets to rollover since Docs compound yearly.

Letter code for principals
Please code all custom letters and texts to include a [LOC.PR] for the principal name so the information only needs to be updated on the School Options page to update ALL custom texts.
