Withdrawal Form
Please move this to an easier to access place in Aeries. Clicking report and then withdrawal is not efficient. It should be an item under student data or even reports - like how you can push a button and just get that specific students attendance in reports, the withdraw student should work the same.

It would be great to have a way to automatically add all rejected students from the SMS process to a waitlist for a course at a given point in our process in scheduling.

Witnesses and Victims statements: allow upload of document or picture
After a discipline incident, statements are often taken from witnesses and victims. These statements are usually handwritten on paper. The Witnesses page includes an Account/Testimony field, which is potentially used by some schools.
At the spring 2023 AeriesCon, a customer asked for Witnesses to allow uploading of a document containing the witness statement. The document should be associated with the Incident ID.
Other options to consider: automatically associating the uploaded document with WIT, VIC or ADS depending on where it was uploaded. Allowing this document upload from WIT, VIC, or ADS, depending on the role of the involved student. If…

Gradebook Backup and Restore needs enhancements when a New Primary Teacher takes ownership of section/Gradebook
In Flex Schools, adjust the Gradebook Backup and Restore process to allow NEW Primary Teacher's to run this process without the need to select the original teacher's name who created the Gradebook. Process needs some refinements.

Mass Change or Add Crs Requests: add Course Request Section Packets
On the Mass Change or Add Crs Requests page, could the ability to mass add Course Request Section Packets (so the Course Request plus a specific Section) be added? In a perfect world, it would also ask if the user wanted to duplicate existing Course Requests or add a new one. And handle existing Course Requests with Sections. Maybe a popup to let the user know which student has the same Course Request and or Section already.
This issue came up during a training. The customer asked about ways to mass assign sets of sections to a group of students.

Add Option for GPAs to Calculate and Display up to 5 decimal Places
This will also assist when districts have a tie-breaker scenario when GPA and Class Rank are calculated.

Allow users to Edit Margins or Print Size in Attendance letters. (This is not about District Letters)
The letters have a lot of spacing in the margins causing some letters to be 2 pages becuase of a signature line. I have elimited some words to make this work but if I could change margin or print size, it would print much more professional.

Allow OAuth authentication to be used for SMTP
Microsoft has announced that they will begin deprecating Basic Authentication (Username/Password) methods for sending emails via SMTP through their Exchange services, which will affect our Office 365 customers.

We need to look into implementing a way to send emails utilizing OAuth so our customers have the ability to configure SMTP to comply with Microsofts recommendations.2 votes -
Student Profile, Class Summary visual issue with Show All Terms option
Student Profile, Class Summary - When using the "Show all Terms" options, do not display "Past 5 Days" and "Last Updated" information. Those 2 columns should be blank for future terms. IN addition, when the Classes page 'Today' option is turned on the Profile page 'Show All Terms' option does not display all.

For Middle Schools using transcripts, consider adding to option to not display the signature at the bottom of the transcript.

Flex Scheduling - Students with N or More Absences - Skip '0' Counts
We use the Students with N or More Absences more in a Flex Scheduling school to print period absences for the current day.
The report prints all period, and it would be very helpful if it only printed periods where the student has at least one absence (i.e., eliminate the '0' rows).

Identify 18YO High School Students
For high school seniors who are 18 years old who do not want parents to have access to their records - a field to identify them. The field could be used to query/KEEP/ or create student groups, but also identify to vendors (Naviance, Canvas, ParentSquare, SportsNet and others) to not share (or limit access) data with parents. Currently, our only option is to change Contacts records, which is inadequate. Also, a notice (similar to what pops up when putting in an assertive discipline record on a special ed student) to remind counselors and staff to include student in all attendance…

Classroom Attendance and Block Sections
The Classroom Attendance page allows for clerks or admins to update 10 days of attendance on the one page. The page is not looking at each individual section. When Save is clicked, it looks at the section for the date selected in the date dropdown and assumes all the days have the same section with the same Block value. If a previous attendance code is populated, it sometimes assumes it should also be the same block value and updates all previously entered codes to be the same block. Enhance to more accurately handle blocks.

Google Integration-option to choose whether to overwrite existing scores where "Include Assignments When Grading Complete" is enabled
In google Integrations, we would like to turn on the feature to Include Assignments Already Marked as Grading Completed, however we would like an option to choose whether we want to to overwrite existing scores or not. This is necessary so that scores changed in Aeries manually by the teacher would not get automatically overwritten by the google nightly sync, unless we had chosen the option to do so.

Classroom Attendance - At the beginning of the school year, all columns of non-school days should be grayed out for all students
Please enhance Classroom Attendance so all non-school days at the beginning of the year show as grayed out for all students. This will keep staff from entering absence codes on the incorrect days. This is a visual issue, absence codes do not save.

Create a secondary option on the Discipline violation as to whether or not the violation resulted in an injury
Many districts are over reporting injuries as a result of a change made to the way that CALPADS discipline codes are interpreted. The 501 code, "Caused, Attempted, or Threatened Physical Injury," is automatically assumed to have resulted in an injury. There is not a way to say that the action simply attempted or threatened injury. We need a way to say whether or not this code actually resulted in an injury. If we had that option, on the CALPADS code translation table, we could decide if it was then reported as a 501 (injury) or 504 (no injury).
