Mass Add Attendance Notes
Currently, Mass Change Period Absences only works for updating one day at a time which means attendance notes can only be added one day at a time. It would be helpful to be able to update attendance notes for a date range, ex: add same attendance note 9/13/21-9/15/21.

Student Attendance Print Options
Student Attendance Print Options - As of 1/26/2023 version a Quick Print was added on Student Attendance page in place of the Print button in the page banner. Customer would like the previous print option restored as it printed in better format.

Scheduling Master/Master Schedule add customizable permission sets for different Staff Roles
On the Scheduling Master and Master Schedule page, when a Section Staff is added and assigned as Primary Teacher, the permissions (Attendance Prm, Gradebook Prm, etc.) are automatically added (but can be changed).
If a Section Staff is added who is not the Primary Teacher, can a customizable set of Permissions be added based on the Staff Role (SMS.SR/MST.SR)? Note that this could only work currently with the existing hard-coded Staff Roles, but that it would be nice if Staff Roles can ever be added, that the customer could input: "if this Staff Role, then these permissions."

Allow Teachers the KEEP Query function
To make analytics more meaningful to teachers, they would like to be able to target specific students. Teachers however are unable to keep students they have identified in Aeries Analytics. The keep statement would allow them to create items in Aeries Analytics and keep track of their educational trends in real time.
Our teachers (a lot of them being RSP teachers) are trying to use the Multi Student Search with the KEEP capability. They would like to be able to forward through the list of KEEP students and see various data from the Profile screen or Gradebook screens so they…

Flex Scheduling - Allow an Easier way to Transfer Students and Gradebooks to new Sections and Teachers
It was easier to transfer students/gradebooks to new sections/teachers using the "old" scheduling method. Please create a way for users to complete this process if they choose not to change the Primary Teacher in the current section. There should be an easy way to do this, similar to Aeries Classic.

Add ability to display only primary teacher when printing all student schedules
For print all student schedules, add ability to hide assistant teachers not marked as primary in SSE. Displaying all assistant teachers for some courses has confused students.

Electronic Report Cards - Add an Opt-Out Option
In the same vein as the idea submitted for emailing grade report notifications, we would like to allow parents to opt-out of receiving paper report cards.
We would like Online Enrollment, Parent Data Confirmation and the Portal to include an 'Opt-out of mailed grade reports' button. Parents should have an easy way to opt-in or out as needed while allowing the district to save postage, forms, toner, and man-hour costs to distribute report cards to parents who don't need or want them.
Then, have the grade reporting process include one function to post report cards to all students' portal accounts…

Include Unaccompanied Youth Indicator in Residence Survey Audit Tool
The Residence Survey Audit Tool is incomplete. As it currently stands, it adds a whole bunch of 191 records that are missing a State Required Field (Unaccompanied Youth Indicator), thus resulting in fatal errors when sending up the SPRG. For this tool to be really effective and time-saving, the Unaccompanied Youth indicator needs to be included. Maybe auto-populate it as a N and then we can go in and change the the Ys? Or include an option for the person completing the Audit to indicate a Y or N for Unaccompanied Youth.

Monthly Attendance Report - Not Printing Student ID
This reports displays the Student Number instead of the Student/PermID. Since we have hidden the Student Number and are using a Student/Perm ID, please display that number instead.

Authentication with Microsoft Azure AD Services
We are making the migrating Microsoft Azure AD Identity Services (along with a host of other Azure services: SSPR, biometric sign-in, MFA, one-drive, and more, oh my!). It would be beneficial to all teachers, staff, and administrators to have an AZURE AD option enabled to allow quick seamless sign-in to Aeries portals. The google integration works great, but we are moving away from google.
THE WHY - The feature would enable a smoother sign in process for end users and promotes a more secure environment for district technology departments.
NOTE: I am not saying Aeries SIS is not secure, only…

In Online Enrollment on Parent Information page the Mailing Name field auto adds a & if there are two parent/guardians listed at same mailing address. Add option to not add the & automatically to this field.

Enhance capabilities for Teacher #2 and Teacher #3
We would like the functionality for MST.TN2 and MST.TN3 to be enhanced. Currently, if you add a teacher to MST.TN2, this teacher will have access to mostly everything (ATT and GBK) but certain things are not accessible to that teacher (specifically SBG). If you add a teacher to MST.TN3 barely any capability is added to that teacher. We would like the role field (MST.SR2 and MST.SR3) to be incorporated and if the MST.TN2/MST.TN3 are populated with a teacher and the role is assigned as "teacher" then that teacher should have the same capabilities as the primary teacher.

Allow users to download unmatched student report as Excel
When importing test results in the current year, there are a large number of students who have graduated/are no longer enrolled with us (i.e. importing 2021-22 ELPAC scores into the 2022-23 database). It would be helpful to be able to download the unmatched students report as an Excel document in order to filter out the graduates and then search specifically for the students whose name changed.

Classroom Attendance - In Flex Daily schools using Primary Tracking and Primary ADA option, TN2 section information sometimes displays visually under the Primary Teachers section which causes extra scrolling on the page to be needed.

CALPADS STAS Issue With Charter School Option
CALPADS STAS Extract - If a single database has multiple CDS Codes used for reporting - When a virtual school houses students tagged with a Reporting Home School, and CALPADS Extract School Options are set to a specific school, the STAS file may include other student attendance data from CDS Codes that were not selected in the extract.

Ability to extract specific programs when pulling the SPRG
In Powerschool, you have the ability to specify which Programs (PGM) you want to extract when running the SPRG. This way, if you are fixing or adding a whole bunch of 192 records, you can pull a SPRG extract for only the 192 records. This will make the file smaller (nicer for CALPADS) and will allow us to be more concentrated in our data reconciliation. You shouldn't have to pull all programs all the time...It's unnecessary and can result in errors.
