Gradebook Backup and Restore needs enhancements when a New Primary Teacher takes ownership of section/Gradebook
In Flex Schools, adjust the Gradebook Backup and Restore process to allow NEW Primary Teacher's to run this process without the need to select the original teacher's name who created the Gradebook. Process needs some refinements.

Student Documents Required Fields
Could we please add the ability to make required fields in the DOC Table. We would like to start using Student Documents in association with the Parent portal but my not necessarily want parents to see all docs. If the DOC.TY is blank then parents automatically have access to the documents if they have read access to DOC. If staff members miss that on an uploaded Counseling document or something of that sort it could break the trust of the student and counselor when the parent sees it. Discipline Entry Notification - NON Teacher Adds
Add the ability for the email address defined in Portal Options on the Miscellaneous Tab to receive alerts anytime an admin enters DIS records in addition to when a teacher enters DIS.

Mass Change or Add Crs Requests: add Course Request Section Packets
On the Mass Change or Add Crs Requests page, could the ability to mass add Course Request Section Packets (so the Course Request plus a specific Section) be added? In a perfect world, it would also ask if the user wanted to duplicate existing Course Requests or add a new one. And handle existing Course Requests with Sections. Maybe a popup to let the user know which student has the same Course Request and or Section already.
This issue came up during a training. The customer asked about ways to mass assign sets of sections to a group of students.

Test Scores - Add a color legend to display directly on the Test Scores page that will indicate what each test performance level value corresponds to.

Allow OAuth authentication to be used for SMTP
Microsoft has announced that they will begin deprecating Basic Authentication (Username/Password) methods for sending emails via SMTP through their Exchange services, which will affect our Office 365 customers.

We need to look into implementing a way to send emails utilizing OAuth so our customers have the ability to configure SMTP to comply with Microsofts recommendations.2 votes -
Analytics - Add a Table Chart
In Analytics we would like the abilty to add a chart type of table. For example it would be great to make an enrollment count by ethnicity (x axis) and grade table (y axis).

ParentSquare Contact update deep linking
Contact Verification and parents attempting to update phone numbers and emails in parentsquare is a pain... We'd love to see full integration to allow parents to change their data in parentsquare and push back into Aeries. A second-best solution would be to use deep linking back into Aeries to point parents to the correct place to update their contact information within Aeries.

Flex Scheduling - Students with N or More Absences - Skip '0' Counts
We use the Students with N or More Absences more in a Flex Scheduling school to print period absences for the current day.
The report prints all period, and it would be very helpful if it only printed periods where the student has at least one absence (i.e., eliminate the '0' rows).

Classroom Attendance and Block Sections
The Classroom Attendance page allows for clerks or admins to update 10 days of attendance on the one page. The page is not looking at each individual section. When Save is clicked, it looks at the section for the date selected in the date dropdown and assumes all the days have the same section with the same Block value. If a previous attendance code is populated, it sometimes assumes it should also be the same block value and updates all previously entered codes to be the same block. Enhance to more accurately handle blocks.

Classroom Attendance - At the beginning of the school year, all columns of non-school days should be grayed out for all students
Please enhance Classroom Attendance so all non-school days at the beginning of the year show as grayed out for all students. This will keep staff from entering absence codes on the incorrect days. This is a visual issue, absence codes do not save.

In a flex environment the following query no longer works. Please create a way for the AHD table to be queried for Period Absences.

Create a secondary option on the Discipline violation as to whether or not the violation resulted in an injury
Many districts are over reporting injuries as a result of a change made to the way that CALPADS discipline codes are interpreted. The 501 code, "Caused, Attempted, or Threatened Physical Injury," is automatically assumed to have resulted in an injury. There is not a way to say that the action simply attempted or threatened injury. We need a way to say whether or not this code actually resulted in an injury. If we had that option, on the CALPADS code translation table, we could decide if it was then reported as a 501 (injury) or 504 (no injury).

Monthly Attendance Summary needs a Track and/or Program Filter.
Any Multi-Track District would benefit from the Monthly Attendance Summary being able to be filtered by Program, or at least by Track.
Many Districts use multiple Tracks to govern the school schedules with differing numbers of days. This causes the Monthly Attendance Summary to be unable to generate report totals, as it is dealing with months of varying numbers of days. Not even a skip query solves the problem, as the Monthly Attendance Summary always encompasses every program in the whole school site.

Standard Based Report Cards Translation
When printing out Standard Based Report Cards in Spanish Primary Teacher and Director are not translated. Also “Language Fluency Information” translation is missing an accent mark “Informacion sobre la fluidez del lenguaje”

SSA date from a previous district
Need the ability to input an Assertive Discipline record that can be tagged as a violation at a previous school...used solely to track an SSA violation from a previous district. At our court school and some other schools, teachers need to know if a student has had a SSA violation from a previous district, but we don't want to input it manually as it could be confusing as to why they have an SSA date that doesn't match any Assertive Discipline records at the current school. Independent Study Attendance Letters
We have a site that would like the ability to create an Independent Study Attendance letter in Aeries based on a KEEP statement with an area for the letter's content to be pre-filled in with field from Aeries such as name, address, etc.) Regular attendance letters don't work because they aren't sending these letters typically based on actual absence codes because it's based on work completion and quality of work.
