Report Card Options Allows Saving to GRP Table Without GRP Permissions
On the Report Card Options page, users can customize headers for Grade Report (GRD) marks. These customizations are saved into the Grade Report Mark Headings (GRP) table for any selected Grading Periods.
Currently, users who have GRD update permissions—but do not have GRP update permissions—are still able to save changes to the GRP table.
This creates a permissions bypass where users can modify GRP data without having the appropriate GRP access. We need the GRP permissions to be enforced.5 votes -
Academic Plan Report - One-Pager
I was so excited to learn that the Academic Plan was printable. However, it is not great. For a senior, it prints out 5+ pages. Please continue to work on this so that the plan can be printed on one page.

Inactivate Service Learning Organizations
Enhance the Service Learning Organization page to have the ability to inactivate an existing organization so inactive organizations are no longer present but may be re-activated if needed and are still visible in historical logs/reports.

CALPADS STAS - honor mid year grade level changes that should exclude PS
If a student changes grade levels mid-year (e.g., from PS to TK), the STAS extract is combining all absences into a single record. The current logic is using STU to determine the grade but in order to honor grade level changes, the ENR table must be used instead. Adjust so that only TK is included and the PS totals are excluded when a grade change occurs.

Removal of "NO LONGER IN USE" State Course Codes
There are still "NO LONGER IN USE" State Course Codes floating around in the system. I know not to use them but I think it would be helpful to remove them completely so they are not even an option.

Student Data Audit Report - Allow report to print without warning errors
Allow users to run the Student Data Audit Report for either CALPADS Data or Basic Demographics and have the option to ingore Warning (W) type validations.

Attendance by photo
Put a line between students on attendance by photo, not a line over A/T. Visually it's very messy and causes errors.

Warn about cascading deletes
When deleting a "parent" record that would cause related records to be related, give a warning about the records that will also be deleted.

Enhance the SINF Extract for Accurate Middle Name Updates
When a student undergoes a first and middle name change, modify the SINF extract process to ensure the correct middle name is generated for the student's original SINF record.

Add feature to "Rules" section in which a teacher could have a rule applied to a select group of students.

Medical Log Alert
Our local health department wants parents to be notified whenever their child goes to the office. We'd like the ability for parents to receive an "alert" (email) when a Medical Log record is created or perhaps at the end of the day?

Student Documents - Drag & Drop ability for uploads
A drag and drop function for uploading items to Student Docs.
It would make uploading documents more efficient, especially if we can drag and drop multiple files at a time, then set the categories for each document and only have to hit save once at the bottom.

Teacher Credential Monitoring
Consider adding the Credentialing Information to Courses (CRS). If districts maintain the creditialing information in STC, the credential field values are linked in CRS. When a course is added to the master schedule, produce a report that shows the credential needed and the credential that the assigned teacher has. The report could also display anomalies. This would allow districts the opportunity to monitor and remedy any credentialing issues early in the school year - long before Fall 2.

Request for Dual Enrollment Course Integration to the High School Transcript Reporting in Aeries
Aeries needs a feature that allows for dual enrollment courses to be built in the Master Schedule (MST) board and automatically reported on the high school transcript (HIS table) under the community college. This functionality would streamline the management and reporting of dual enrollment courses on high school transcripts. It would also save time from manually importing individual courses.

Allow No Show Permissions to be Separate in Security
We are having issues with schools no-showing students that have been in attendance and deleting all of their data.
I would like a way to lock out certain security groups from using the No-Show tag while still allowing other departments to use it. We have year round enrollment additions (including newcomers) that need to be no-showed. However, we also end up with year round no-shows that were wrong. I need a way to allow the right people to use No-Shows while denying permissions to others.

Add Option to Transcript Report to ONLY print students without HIS records
Add the option to only print students without transcript records. This will permit registrars to quickly inventory students who were added who might not have been routed to their desk and to easily follow up with getting those transcripts from previous districts.
