  1. Add Att-Based Grade Reporting Optimization (TX Only)

    Consider optimizing the Attendance-Based Grade Reporting function to allow users to preliminarily set Att-Based Grade Reporting to "Y," "N" or null on the Grades page. Ideally, this function would allow users to set ABG using either the Attendance Based Grade Reporting function or directly on the Grades page. If this feature is built, it would also be beneficial for the update to apply both on the Grades page and within the ABG function. This would be helpful in modifying individual student records as the ABG function is extremely difficult to filter.

    If this cannot be done, consider adding/optimizing filtering options…

  2. Upload a bulk copy of State Electronic Test Scores Reports to Student Documents

    We would like Aeries to upload a copy of the State Electronic Test Scores Reports to Student Documents for the purpose of historical PDF copies, which are a great visual for teachers and parents.

    We have principals who believe that having all the historical State Electronic Test Scores Reports would be beneficial for their teachers in providing proper student support. Currently, if a student is an 11th grader, we are not able to view any State Electronic Test Scores Reports, due to ETS providing only 3 years of records.

  4. School of choice - Update STU.IT field if approved

    It would be nice when a School of choice is approved that it either auto-updates the STU.IT field or has the field available on the page to update it at the same time it's being approved.

  5. Ed-Fi Staff Ed Org Assignment Association

    Please update the logic to exclude Staff records based from the Staff Ed Org Assignment Association, if the Staff End Date is before the current school year and the Staff record is inactive. The Staff School Association entity seems to exclude these inactive staff members, but they are all included in the Staff Ed Org Assignment Association which creates a lot of unnecessary errors.

  6. Add more information to the stakeholder selection in 504 plan to differentiate between employees with the same name

    The dropdown for selecting stakeholders lists only first name and last name and person type, if two staff members have the same name they are listed identically. This dropdown needs more information such as middle name, primary school, staff id number, etc, so as to better enable differentiation between employees in the list.

  8. Sort Substitute Aeries Teacher Accounts by teacher name

    Currently, when creating multiple sub teacher accounts at once, the report is sorted by Staff ID number instead of name. Add option to sort the report by teacher name for ease of sorting pages for distribution once printed.

  10. Improve grade notifications

    Currently, notifications dont include what was the total score possible, so simply knowing that student scored X is not helpful. Knowing that the student scored X out of Y is more useful.

    This is what notifications come through for me, through parent square:

    An Assignment Mark Threshold has been reached for *** ZZZZZZ. Assignment Test 6 is currently receiving a mark of 30, in Period - Geom CC.

    How many total marks is the mark 30 out of???

  11. Gradebook - Honor track dates instead of default school term dates

    Currently when a school has tracks, the gradebooks only go by the dates for the default school term. This makes it difficult for teachers whose track ends after the default school track end date as it puts assignments in the gradebook for the next term. So, they end up having put in fake dates, which causes issues and confusion for students and parents in the portal and makes things confusing for teachers as well. It would be great if the gradebooks honored the dates of the track associated with the section that the gradebook is linked to.

  12. Medications page for Weekly meds and link to Daily Medical Log page

    Our health techs would like the "Medications" page to have the option to enter meds that are required once a week (and not just as needed or various times during a day) and then this should show up in the Daily Medical Log page when the particular day occurs. For example, stu 12345 needs albuterol every Wed before PE class. So on Mon Tues Thur Fri, the Daily Medical Log will not show stu 12345. However on Wed, the Daily Medical Log will show stu 12345 as an entry.

  13. High School Graduation Status Report Not Calculating Correctly

    Query data from the HSG table is in correct, specifically the enrolled credits. It will show that students are enrolled in 0 credits despite being enrolled in a full set of classes. Apparently after working this through with Aeries support, you have to run the "Graduation Status List" report first by school in order for credits enrolled to accurately show once you run the query. This is time consuming and unpractical. Can we have a mass update button similiar to CCI, Graduation Progress Dashboard etc.?

  14. Add Recipient Drop-Down for Referral to Interventions Submission

    Description:
    When teachers submit a referral using the Referral to Interventions table, there is currently no way to direct the referral to a specific individual.

    It would be helpful to add a drop-down menu that allows teachers to select a recipient when submitting a referral. The drop-down could be populated from the Intervention Referral Settings field in School Options, ensuring schools can control and standardize who receives these referrals.

    Benefit:
    Improves clarity and routing of intervention referrals

    Reduces manual follow-up and misdirected referrals

    Aligns teacher submissions with school-defined intervention workflows

    Suggested Behavior:
    Display a required drop-down field during referral submission

    Enhance Supplemental Attendance module to consider the following:
    Intelligent Date Defaulting
    Defaulting Effective Date to ATS.SD or ATP.SD instead of Today
    Week/Day View Navigation Improvements which could include how to default views and daily view behavior for completed sessions
    Cross Campus Teacher Visibility of information
    ESY Program specific behavior logic

  16. Ed-Fi default Classroom Position Descriptor to 087 if blank

    The Classroom Position Descriptor is pulled from either MST.SR1 or SSE.SR depending on if the school is FLEX or traditional schedule. Most districts don't use these fields, so instead of us all mass updating them, it would be great if you defaulted the value to "087 - Teacher" if the corresponding Master Schedule Section field is blank.

  17. Add layout options for Contacts tab in Student Import

    Reviewing Contact records on the Student Import page needs to be more dynamic. Allowing for sorting and highlighting matching fields between records as well as a minimized overview option would greatly improve the verification process. At the moment it's incredibly difficult to keep track of which records one is comparing when a duplicate record is found.

    A contact-level matching process would be ideal.

  18. Option to limit changes to Medical History, Medical Log, & Medical Notes records

    My district administration has been directed by our Board to request that the student medical screens Medical Log (MED), Medical Notes (MNO), and Medical History (MHS) be updated so that only the users who added the record (or designated Admin users) can edit/update the record. They are envisioning that this works in a similar way to the Student Documents screen.

  19. Import Test Results - Update CAASPP Test Results import process to include all domain scores for California Spanish Assessment (CSA)

    The current import process for CAASPP is not loading the Reading Domain score for CSA results. Potentially the Speaking domain as well but we do not have any high school level results to confirm. The domain scores are part of the overall CSA results for students and help inform instruction, including all domains is important for providing a full picture of the students performance on the CSA. The CSA reading score is Field # 159, Domain 3 Level, in the CAASPP data file.

  20. Keep Students option on MST Page

    When looking at a section on the Master Schedule page, I really wish there were a way I could "keep" those students so then I could run queries without having to first run a query to find them. It would be easier to just grab them from this page.
