Referral to Interventions and Teacher Accounts
Referral to Intervention - Currently teacher accounts are required to fill in the Date Family was notified of the referral (RFI.DN) field. Add an option for Districts to be able to make this field not required to be entered by teachers similar to User and Admin accounts

Guidance Group Can't Be Filtered in Navigation
In the new user interface, typing "Guidance" into the navigation filter does not return the Guidance group (Assertive Discipline, Discipline, etc.).

MST Board or Custom Table for Alt. Ed. Scheduling
Create a Alt. Ed. scheduling setting for the MST board or a custom table that gives you the ability to see what course the student is scheduled in with a school that is utilizing Alt. Ed. scheduling. This will improve scheduling monitoring.

Single Year Capstone Course mark students as participants through Career Pathways Management
Under Career Pathways Management, you can't mark a student as a participant for Single Year Capstone course(s). Depending on how many students are in the Career Pathway, having to go through each student to manually mark them as a participant or a completer is a waste of time management. The filtering on the Career Pathway Management page should be able to identify students in single-year capstone courses and allow you to click the Participant option.

Date Range should honor the date the Meetings record was created and not based on the Intervention Initial date created.
If an intervention was created in the past school year and you enter meetings comments for this school year. The Date Range for the report won't pick up this year's meetings because the date range is searching for the initial intervention date and not meetings date.
For example Intervention was created Feb 2024. Meetings comments are added Aug 2024 and Oct 2024 because we are still supporting the initial intervention. I select print a data range is provided, I enter 8/8/2024 - 10/2/2024 I have zero results for Meetings. But if I enter the date range of Feb 2024 -…

Print Meetings comments on the Intervention Plan?
Currently, Meetings comments do not print on the Intervention Plan. This posies a problem when we are discussing with the parent and requesting their signatures on the Plan. Currently, some of our sites are cutting out the meetings comments and overlaying them on the Plan to copy so it appears as part of the document. Other sites are printing the meetings section separately and adding signature lines to that document.
It would be nice to have an option of what is included in the Intervention Plan similar to running the intervention report. And Meetings being one of the options to…1 vote -
Send an email notification to a designated admin when the email address on a staff account is changed
If the email address is changed on any account in UGN, send a notification email to all admin-type accounts or a designated admin account for visibility.

Automatically trigger a password reset when a user account is changed to an admin account
If a user-type or teacher-type account is changed to an admin-type account, automatically send an email with a password reset link to the email address on file for that account. If the account username/password had previously been compromised, the password reset link going directly to the user's email address will add an extra layer of security when elevating the accounts permissions.

In Residence Survey Add a Comment Box and End Date.
Add a comment box and end date option to the Residence Survey Audit. Currently, our parent liaisons will reach out to each parent/student listed in the Residence Survey Audit list to confirm Homeless/Residence status. A comment box would be beneficial to enter notes and staff initials. Even one comment box that will apply to all confirmed records.
Also adding an End date to be populated. Since a homeless student can keep their homeless status all year we populate the end date as the last day of school when a record is created.

Can we make Demerits a permission on its own for students to see through their portal?
Right now, you would have to give permissions for students to see ALL of assertive discipline to see the demerits. It would be helpful if students can log in and only see demerits so if it can be its own optional permission under guidance that would be great!

Assertive Discipline - Demerits letter
We have letters for discipline but we have not way to incorporate a letter for demerits. We us demerits in conjunction with detention up to a certain point. This would be so helpful!

Pre-Referral Interventions - Save button for all tabs instead of each tab
Tiered Gen Ed Interventions tab is not user friendly. Each tab within Tiered Gen Ed intervention needs to be "saved" each time you change between the tabs if you want to save your progress. Is there a way to have a save button to save all the progress that a teacher has worked on without having to save per each tab?

Assertive Discipline - Email or letter to parents when adding to Assertive Discipline
We put a discipline issue into assertive discipline and what happened and then click add a new administrative decision. There should be an option to send an email or letter to parents with this information in it. It would save time from calling or writing so many email. CVUSD has one. If a student gets a detention, it simply says something like, your receiving this email because your student received (1) detention today for (reason). Please give the school a call if you have any questions.

Create a Management page for the Student Attendance Percentage by Date Settings
Currently, the Attendance Percentage by Date Settings only allows you to update the date range one student at a time or by using a change query.
To allow the sites the flexibility to use these amazing Attendance pages an update all students button or something similar for sites to use, would be useful.
Our sites would like to use these by week, month, and not always from the beginning of the year to a specific date.

Student Documents - Drag & Drop ability for uploads
A drag and drop function for uploading items to Student Docs.
It would make uploading documents more efficient, especially if we can drag and drop multiple files at a time, then set the categories for each document and only have to hit save once at the bottom.

Specifically, removing the Alt options for each test and replacing them with the column "Applicable Assessment Type" just like TOMS. Also, match the same titles from TOMS to Aeries for each support.

Primary Telephone - Make a Linked Contact
Can you make the Primary Phone Number a Linkable Contact as well? Most don't have home phone numbers anymore and it would be helpful for that number to become a linked contact and get updated when parents are updating their contact information. The Primary number on Demographics tends to be a parent's cell phone now and not home phone numbers.

Teacher Credential Monitoring
Consider adding the Credentialing Information to Courses (CRS). If districts maintain the creditialing information in STC, the credential field values are linked in CRS. When a course is added to the master schedule, produce a report that shows the credential needed and the credential that the assigned teacher has. The report could also display anomalies. This would allow districts the opportunity to monitor and remedy any credentialing issues early in the school year - long before Fall 2.
