Parent Portal School Order
Sort the schools in Parent Portal by primary enrollment, concurrent, pre-enrolled, and then DNR schools. At this point, I would settle for primary school to be the school the Parent Portal opens to and the rest of the order doesn't matter.
Currently, it sorts the schools from largest to smallest school number, and therefore Parent Portal opens to our After-School Program school which is DNR. This will confuse Parents with Data Confirmation because the notification will not appear as it is not required for DNR schools. It's ideal for the Parent Portal to display the primary school first.

An alert to certain staff when Scheduled Medication(s) are due for students.
Daily Medication Schedule page is nice but an alert would be very helpful.3 votes -

CALPADS Extract Should ALLOW LEAs to NOT Auto-Populate End Dates for SPRG Files
When districts generate SPRG files within the last 30 calendar days of the school year, the SPRG file created by Aeries will automatically close out all program records with the last day of school. The 'Do Not Extract Future Dates' does NOT apply to SPRG, it only applies to SENR. CALPADS and TOMS have both stated multiple times that if LEAs are still CAASPP/ELPAC Testing, program records should not be submitted with future end dates. Otherwise, accommodations for 504 plan students in particular will be lost. Aeries should allow DISTRICTS to determine if/when they auto-close program records in CALPADS prior…

Enhance OE Email Verification
The email link is only good for one-time use and the parent receives the Failed error message due to the email spam filter. A possible solution would be to place a "Verify" link on the page to do the actual verification rather than just verifying the account when the link is opened.

Course Requests - add a "Notes" field to enter specific needs or considerations
It would just be helpful if there was a place as we build out schedules if there are specific needs or considerations we can leave that note there for reference when we look back at their course requests.

504 Plans - Added checkbox to Accommodations for Emergency Distance Learning
Plan for the future and include this required legal feature in the development of the 504 plan page in Aeries. On the accommodation page, there needs to be a check mark to indicate if the accommodation will be applicable during EDL (emergency distance learning)

Monthly Attendance Summary Analysis report should recognize AP1 and AP2
As this report is used for P1 and P2 reporting, it should recognize AP1 and AP2 for districts (like COEs) who require ADA to be broken out by districts

Demographics - Calculate Cohort Based on Expected Grad Year
The Cohort year field STU.CHT should be advanced based on the first enrollment date ENR.ED, not the grade ENR.GR.
For high school districts, students do not always start with us in grade nine. For those that don't, the STU.CHT does not display the correct cohort year and is useless to us.1 vote -

attendance letters TCH
Allow attendance letters to parents to pull from the TCH table along with the STU table. This will allow teacher names to appear on the letters not just teacher numbers.

Include absence and tardy totals on Transcripts to show the value of school attendance and the correlation of attendance and grades.
Even though report cards include absences and tardies. It would beneficial to include absence and tardy totals on Transcripts. The hope is to show the importance of school attendance ( and impact between attendance and grades).

PDC Medical History - default grade and age similar to [Medical History] page
I would like the parent data confirmation to work the same way as the page in Aeries.
Parents often just click save without updating the age or grade, and our Nurses have to make these corrections later. (This also appears to be allowing duplicate records to be created that have to be reconciled)
The PDC process to add a new condition to Medical History defaults the age and grade fields to zero. (PDCMedHisAgeGradeDefault1.jpg)
The [Medical History] page in Aeries defaults the age and grade to the current age and grade. (PDCMedHisAgeGradeDefault2.jpg)3 votes -

504 Inactivating options so they can no longer be used
We would like to be able to inactivate options so that they can no longer be used even if they are already attached to open plans. This would make it so that they cannot be added to anything new. Right now you can only delete things if they aren't attached to anything.

EL Newcomer Updates
There needs to be a way for us to select options on a screen so that Aeries can display the correct Newcomer status for Multilingual students. A student may start out as "n zero" - during their first year in the US. However, the next year they will be an "n one" student, and so on. This will help us track the progress of the student and also help us assign correct services to them to help their progress.
