Online Enrollment - match to Previous Year Databases
We would like the ability for the Online Enrollments Import Process to look through previous year's databases. Parents who had kids attend a school many years prior, but their records never moved to the Inactive School, are not able to be matched to an existing record. This means the district has to manually add the student without using Online Enrollment.
1 voteThank you for your idea. The use of an inactive school is a recommended procedure in Aeries. If there are students not in the inactive school, it may be prudent to work with our support team to do a one-time cleanup process to move all missing students to the current year inactive school.

Scheduling Letter to Parents - Add Alternate Courses
Add the ability for the Alternate Courses (ACR) to print on the Scheduling Letters to Parents. Currently, only the primary Courses (SSS) print on the Scheduling Letter.

Set "Mass Apply Attendance" Default Filters
Now that teachers can set filters for mass applying attendance codes and notes, they would like to set their own default filters that way they don't have to reapply the filter every morning.

Aeries Forums-Selecting Next or Previous
For the Aeries Forums pages, allow for selecting Next or Previous page for the next updated revision/changes so we can review them in sequence and not go back to the main page and find the next date which in turn means we have to remember the date so we can check the next one posted. It would just make for an easier viewing of all revisions/changes. Thank you!

Attendance Notes - Allow Uploading Documents
We have the ability to add notes to attendance, it would be helpful to add an upload feature for Dr notes and such. We are currently having our parents email us pictures of documents instead of handling paper. The system is working well with our parents, it would be great if we could then attach the picture directly to the Notes in attendance.

Add an additional Change button on the top of Student Demographics page
In Aeries, one has to scroll down to get to the Change button. It would be nice to have the ability to Change data without having to scroll down.

Parent Document Upload Requests - Save the requests as a packet to allow for multiple and reusable requests
We will be requesting parents upload proof of residency documents each year. It would be great if we could save the request and document types as a packet or group so we don't have to recreate the request each year, just adjust the opening and closing dates. Also that would allow for the uploading of other documents during the year like field trip permissions.

Attendance Management - Filter Absence Codes
Attendance Management - buttons to select all or none absence codes. We use this screen to verify an attendance note has been added for all absences. We currently have to check 25 boxes.

Display Scheduling Exclusions on the Classes page
From the Trainers - Scheduling Exclusions need to display on the Classes pages. When students have class scheduling changes during the school year, the Scheduling Exclusions continue to be mandated. The office has no indication that a Scheduling Exclusion applies to a student's schedule.

Request to add two additional fields, Reason (dropdown) and Comment, to the School of Choice request form.

District Attendance Letters - Prevent timeouts and make the process more efficient
There are 2 issues with District Attendance Letters:
1. Generating letters are displaying the warning symbol and are timing out
2. Opening the Completed letters is timing out at the school level. Completed letters can be opened at the district level.18 votes -
CALPADS SELA Import/Conflict Report - Add Home Language
Please add the Reporting Home Language as part of the SELA Import process. In auditing data we found it would be useful to have the SELA Conflict Report also compare the Reporting Home Language listed in CALPADS to what is in Aeries for testing purposes.

Add do not print on reports option to Assignments
Please add to the assignment the option to not print on reports.
Just like the Not Visible to Parent or Student Portal, add the ability to Not Print on Reports option to the assignments.

Allow the following types of teachers access to the " Print Smarter Balanced Cards (SBAC) - CAASPP":
--Teacher with Security permissions to "View All Students in Current School"

Need a "Credits Earned for the Semester" report
We would like to see a report showing the credits the student earned for the semester. One total for the student (John Smith 17 credits) - not a number of credits for each subject. This will allow us to group the students that may be in jeopardy of graduating.

Data Confirmation Authorizations Receipt Email
Our district would like to see in the Data Confirmation Receipt email that the parents receive to list what Authorizations the Parent either Allowed or Denied.
