Create a Special Programs record for TK students who are imported from Online Enrollment
Just like a Special Programs Foster record is created when a parent selects Yes on the Foster Survey, or a Special Programs Homeless record is created when the parent selects a specific response on the Residence Survey, we would like to see a record created for TK students.

Transcripts-Dual Enrollment Credit School-Allow to Pull from CHI vs. LOC table
A programming change occurred within the last two years to only allow the Dual Enrollment credit school to be entered from the LOC table instead of the CHI table. This is causing issues for us because there are times when students are enrolled at an out of district school when the Dual Enrollment course was completed and when they transfer to our district we need to enter the credit school as the out of district school and not a school within our district. Online Enrollment - Sandbox for next year's registration process
It would be great to be able to make and preview changes for the coming year's registration process in AIR without them immediately being "live" for the current year. This would also help to ensure things are working properly before parents dive in!

Mark Types should be unique to each school rather than district-owned values
When the title or name of a mark type is changed, it is changed at all schools. This is a particular issue with the legend that prints on report cards. We use elementary SBG report cards at our K-4 school and secondary standards based report cards at our middle school - completely different grading scales and reports. And yet the Mark Types are shared! It doesn't make sense that Valid Marks are unique by school, but the Mark Types are district-owned.

Electronic Report Cards - Add an Opt-Out Option
In the same vein as the idea submitted for emailing grade report notifications, we would like to allow parents to opt-out of receiving paper report cards.
We would like Online Enrollment, Parent Data Confirmation and the Portal to include an 'Opt-out of mailed grade reports' button. Parents should have an easy way to opt-in or out as needed while allowing the district to save postage, forms, toner, and man-hour costs to distribute report cards to parents who don't need or want them.
Then, have the grade reporting process include one function to post report cards to all students' portal accounts…

Allow Teachers the KEEP Query function
To make analytics more meaningful to teachers, they would like to be able to target specific students. Teachers however are unable to keep students they have identified in Aeries Analytics. The keep statement would allow them to create items in Aeries Analytics and keep track of their educational trends in real time.
Our teachers (a lot of them being RSP teachers) are trying to use the Multi Student Search with the KEEP capability. They would like to be able to forward through the list of KEEP students and see various data from the Profile screen or Gradebook screens so they…

Do not print student alias when parents Print Emergency Card from PDC
We don't want parents to see student Alias names so we have the Parent Portal Group marked to restrict Alias fields in STU. However, when parents print the ER card as final step of PDC process, the Alias name is printing.

Currently, we have to go to each school and click on Generate Report Card History and change grade levels and click again. I hope there is a way to do this for all grade levels by each site, if not at the district level.

Courses: allow setting for exclusion from Grades/Attendance/Both at the Course level
In the SMS and the MST, individual sections can be set to Exclude from Grades, Attendance, or both. Could this be added at the Course level, so that all sections of a Course would inherit the Exclusion? In a perfect world, the Course's setting could then be overridden at the section level for individual sections. Kind of like how Credit and Grade Range come from Courses for sections in the SMS and MST.

SBG report card
There is limited space to print on the Explanation of Marks on the SBG.
There is a maximum of 6 lines, but the width of text that fits in the explanation is limited to 8 " wide paper.
I request an option to add more space be considered by programming3 votes
