Transcripts - Courses are sorted by the MARK and not by the Course Name
Students taking Summer Classes like Spanis 3 A / 3 B and they recived a Mark of [A-] in 3 A and [A] in 3 B will have the Courses sorted based on the Mark and not the Course Name which looks very odd on the transcript.

Remove attendance by Photo - OLD for all Flex schools
The Attendance by Photo - OLD module does not function when using Flex scheduling. Please make it possible to remove from the teacher portal via Security/portal permissions or when Flex is utilized, automatically disable Attendance by Photo - OLD as it does not work and does not need to appear on the navigation pane.

Transcripts/Mass Add save the date you were last using like it does for the School/Term/Grade
Under Transcripts when you select Mass Add and enter the year/term/grade and then add the courses and then return to add more
It remembers the School, Term, and Student Grade but it puts the current year as a default. In the past, the last year you were working on was saved. How can we change this so it works like it did in the past? This setup now makes it too easy to make errors.1 vote -
Add PRIMARYROOM to the scheduling data extended fields
The most common request I've received in flex scheduling queries is about printing the room numbers along with the teacher info. At the moment users have to link STU SEC MST and include ( PRIMARYSECTIONNO = MST.SE ) in their queries.
It would really help query beginners to add an extended field for PRIMARYROOM that calls MST.RM.

Work Permit Update
Please add the legal spread of hours that a minor is allowed to work onto the B1-4 work permit printout. It currently only shows the total # of hours a minor can work each day, but not the start & end times. The option in aeries to "print old work permit" has the spread of hours posted already so I have been printing out both permits to give to students, but it would be more efficient to have this all on the same page.

Missing Assignment Reports Emails should only go to P1 and P2 Contacts
When you email missing assignments it goes to all contacts, but it should go to contacts listed as P1 and P2 to ensure just the parents receive it.

Add the option to sort and print the Student Locator Card by the flex period# (FTF.STI) instead of start time
Allowing the option to sort and print the student locator card and by FTF.STI (flex period short title) instead of the flex period time. The student locator card sorted by the time is then not sorted by the short title and is not in order and confuses students and parents.
This is because my sites have 1,2,3 as A-Day and 4,5,6 as B-Day and the time span is exactly the same. I have attached screenshots as examples.

Configure Electronic Score Report - Add School Year Selection for Academic Year
I would like to suggest adding a school year selection to the configuration:
Run for Academic Year: __ 2022-23 __2023-24This way, the user that forgets to checkmark the "Run Prev. Year" after the data rollover can easily determine the reason for the failed process.

When email is sent to a school please include the year of enrollment
it would be easier for our registration to see whether it is this or next year of enrollment. See the screenshot.

Student Documents Required Fields
Could we please add the ability to make required fields in the DOC Table. We would like to start using Student Documents in association with the Parent portal but my not necessarily want parents to see all docs. If the DOC.TY is blank then parents automatically have access to the documents if they have read access to DOC. If staff members miss that on an uploaded Counseling document or something of that sort it could break the trust of the student and counselor when the parent sees it. The admin tasks widget stops you from loading a new page
Given I am logged in as an admin when the landing page loads and I click on a page in the navigation before the admin tasks widget is done loading then I am not redirected to the new page until the admin tasks widget is done loading.
We should update the landing page so that when I click on a new page before the admin widget is done loading it will redirect me to the new page regardless of the admin tasks widget loading status.

Free and Reduced Survey Details
In a recent Free and Reduce data audit, our auditors strongly suggested that in addition to the Free and Reduced record generated by the income survey, that the actual dollar amounts/brackets that the parent entered wAould be displayed as well. They mentioned that it would also be handy to have a page somewhere in Aeries that shows the current income guidelines that are in use in the backend. This way, it's a bit more transparent about what's going on in the code.

PS, TK & Kinder Information Report for age turning 5, next grade, & next school based on age.
I am looking for a report for PS and TK Students for the date that they will turn 5, And what school they are attending, next school and next grade based on their age.
It needs to say the year of TK enrollment and Kinder enrollment based on the state age requirements. We need this a lot for reporting right now.

Gradebook: add Override for Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade option
Gradebook has an option: Scale Min/Max Assignment Values in Total Grade. The Min often set to 50 to avoid giving a student a "nuclear F." At the spring 2023 conference, a customer asked for an override to be added. So, in most cases, with the option selected for the Gradebook, the Min as set would be in effect. But for a specific student/assignment/score, the minimum could be overridden so that a zero score (or some score below the Min) would be applied. The specific use case scenario mentioned was a student who plagiarized the assignment.

Send automatic email to Parents that Online Enrollment is Incomplete.
Email sent from Aeries to P/G email when an online enrollment has been set to Incomplete.
Currently staff are emailing or calling parents when their online enrollment is incomplete. We are talking hundreds of calls or emails at the moment. It would be great if Aeries would allow an automatic email generation for this. Thinking something like when a portal account has been created.
Just looking for a way to send out a generic email to slap them in the face to say 'do it right.....please'. ;)
