Allow for Block Schedule Periods to be offered on separate Calendar days
Allow for a blocked period to be offered on different days when the option in Portal Options are set to "Take Attendance for Each Period in a Blocked Section".
For example, Period 4 has a 2 period block. Period 4 is offered on Monday. Period 5 is offered on Tuesday. Currently, when set up this way, the drop-down for Period 5 will show as a blank in the period dropdown for teacher attendance when it's not being offered that day. Only display the period offered according to the Calendar.

Query - Add Value Functions. (Quick example: Today)
Add value functions where the value would be retrieved at run time. A simple example would be LIST STU ID NM ED LD IF ED <= @@Today AND ( LD = NULL OR LD >= @@Today ) This would make queries a much more viable option for disseminating information in a school district with too many people to train on the intricacies of Query.

Query - Support Questions or Substitutions
Please add support for questions or substitutions. Allow a query to be created that prompts the user for a value that can be placed within the query. A simple example would be a LIST STU ID NM GR IF GR = @GradeLevel. When the query was run, the user would be prompted to enter the value of @GradeLevel.

Add the ability to save queries for yourself without having to share them. This way, someone doesn't have to have a txt document.

Students who self identify differently need to have field where they can declare which pronouns they are.

Online Enrollment - Offer Russian as a Language Selection
Add Russian to the "language choices" portion of the online enrollment interface.
(Select the language(s) parents will be able to choose as an option of viewing the enrollment questions:)
Our organization has the ability to do the translations.

Data Validation - US School K-12 Date Validation
Give error upon entering a K-12 date that does not fall within the student's K-12 Grade level based upon DOB. Correcting these dates is exceedingly time consuming and the first time its entered should trigger warnings. This should be managed on the Student Demographics page.

Attendance Submission Log - District Level
With Electronic Attendance approved with CDE, it would be beneficial and more efficient to be able to run the Attendance Submission Log at the District Level. This should also include the ability to select all or specific schools to run the report to confirm teacher attendance has been submitted.

Service Learning Hours - Add new Date Picker
Please make the dates and times in a drop-down format. It is currently very cumbersome to enter data into the log for students.

Google Assignments in Aeries should link to the Assignment in Google.
This will allow students to simply click on the assignment link to get to a missing assignment rather than have to search for the assignment in another program.

Attendance Enrollment Page - Do not prompt to delete attendance during a 440 program change entry
In the Attendance Enrollment, if a user enters an "L" (leave) record using the "440 - program change" reason Aeries may prompt about "student has attendance after this date."
Since this is simply a program change entry and NOT really a withdrawal action, there is no reason to remove the ATT records. The user is expected (required) to follow a 440 entry with an "E" (enter) record for the subsequent day [or they get the error/warning "Student does not have an Attendance Enter after a 440 Leave on [date]"

Weekly Attendance Report - the report options should be remembered.
Print Weekly Attendance Report by Class - the "Include Inactive Students?" box should be checked by default or be remembered when the report is ran again.

Online Enrollment - Have different "Custom Text" and "Questions and Codes" for Current Year and Next Year
It would be great to have different verbiage when families enroll for the current school year vs pre-enrolling for the next school year. Currently I have to list out what families who are pre-enrolling have to do vs families who are enrolling their students who are enrolling for the current school year.
It would be great to have the ability to skip Authorizations for pre-enrolled students. Now it is all or none. The authorizations for pre-enrolled students are moot since they have to do data confirmation for the next school year.
It gets confusing for my families especially the non-English…

Teacher Portal Grade Screen: alphabetical student sort
After some of the updates that were put in place at the beginning of the 2020 school year, the order of student names on the Teacher Portal Grade Screen changed from a straight alphabetical list of the students in that period to a list organized first by section, then alphabetical by student.
This new order makes it awkward for many of our teacher to enter Citizenship, Work Habits & Comments by student, as they are used to seeing their period roster listed alphabetically and not split by section. They need to scan multiple 'sub-lists' on the page to find a…

Create a Report Detailing Students Early Warning Points
From Analytics we can get the student name and total # of points but not the details. Many of the administrators would like to be able to generate a report that lists these details of how a student reached the total points. Please create a report similar to the Student Indicator Details page that lists students with the early warning points that they have earned for each indicator.

Missing Mark Report needs to be modified for missing "Required" grade fields
The report needs to be modified so it is easier to read when using the Portal Option "Required" fields. If printing the missing Required Field, the report should also print the mark populated.

Create a report that searches for missing notes on submitted ATT
Similar to the Attendance Notes Usage Analysis Report that was created for distance learning. Create a report that checks for students with absences that are missing an attendance note. This would be a key resource report for districts that would ensure every student with an absence has an associated note. I think the Attendance Notes Usage Analysis Report might be able to be modified to meet that need, too. You just need it to search for blanks and add an option only if absence code exists. Currently, it doesn't honor that option.
