ADA-Calculate 3/4 of an ADA option
CDE recently changed Ed Code 46146 and 46146.5 specify minimum day requirements for dually enrolled students to allow us to claim ADA for a student only attending part time with us their High School and part time as a college student however there is no additional options in AERIES to calculate this. An option in AERIES would be very helpful in order for us to calculate this as accurate as possible.

online enrollment - Move or change buttons for parent view
At this time, there is not a way to move the ADD button to the top of the page.
When parents are completing the registration forms online and are adding the emergency contacts, would it be possible to move the ADD button to the top of that section?
It is currently at the bottom and parents often do not see it and do not add additional emergency contacts. Thank you in advance for your time in looking into this.1 vote -

Staff Assignment won't let you give an assignment at the District unless the District is the Primary School
When a staff member has a staff assignment at the district and their Primary School in Staff it pulls both records from the Primary School. The Staff Assignment won't let you put in the District School. In order for this to work for CALPADS reporting the District has to be the Primary School even when that is not the case.

IEP/504 Notification
I want every teacher's gradebook, attendance roster, etc. to have the code "IEP" or "504" next a students name (as a link to the uploaded IEP/504 or to a field with accommodation/modification information) in the same way it says "SSA" for students who have been suspended. When entering grades in the gradebook, teachers often forget which students need modified grading and what those modifications are. This also allows teachers immediate access to this information.

New Report - Custom Class List
We are in need of a report from Aeries that looks like the document attached. This would be used for current school year class lists and for next school year class lists (projections).
I tried to recreate it several times and was not able to. The built in class list in Aeries is missing information requested by my administrator.
The document attached has the tables where the data would come from. However, there are some fields that do not correspond to data in Aeries, so a drop down or manual field would be useful.

Ability to link a contact's email address from the Contact screen and have it show up on the Demographics screen..
We have the ability to link a contact's phone number so that it shows up on the Demographics screen but not the email address of the main contact. We've had many requests from our schools to show the email addess on Demographics. The only way to show it is to populate the STU.PEM field which has the potential to be constantly out of date if not updated both in the Contacts and Student tables.

Auto create 113 CA Partnership Academy special program records based on Course Attendance
Currently, we have a SQL script that generates a 113 CA Partnership Academy special program record for all students with Course Attendance in specified courses. It would be nice to be able to do this within Aeries rather than relying on a SQL script.

Staff Data - Primary School selector menu does not show SC 0 District when editing record
When assigning a Staff record to the Primary School, the School Code 0-District does not show up on the Selector pulldown menu. Work-around is to open another Staff record, Edit, search for the Primary school, and cancel. Then return to the original Staff record. The SC 0 District will then be available.

Attendance Audit Listing error F - Support using Primary and Secondary ADA times
In a daily attendance type school including Elem w/MST, adjust the Attendance Audit Listing report code (F) - Teacher does not match current Attendance Period teacher of, to evaluate Primary and Secondary ADA times when displaying this error.

Victims - Add a time field
Please add a field for time on the victims page. The time slot on the discipline page is only useful if discipline was associated with the victim incident, an incident such as alleged bullying would not have a discipline incident.

Year-Round Scheduling Exclusions
Make scheduling exclusions available year-round, not just when the scheduling tables are active. It would be very helpful to be able to put in the exclusion during the year whenever issues arise so that we don't have to remember all of them/keep track of them somewhere else once we start scheduling.

Allow school sites to enable Weekly Progress Emails on behalf of the parents.
We are trying to save resources by having all parents to opt in to the weekly progress email. Right now we are manually emulating every parent account and turning on the feature so that emails delivered Friday mornings. It would be great if we could just turn this feature on for all parents to run on a specific time and date.
