  1. SMS Builder - Allow Adding Staff From Other Schools

    We are using Staff ID Based SMS ( not full flex ) and we have staff teaching at two locations and need to be able to add them to the SMS / MST board when using Staff ID Based SMS.

    We would like there to be a SMS/MST option to allow search for a teacher outside of the STF.PSC field, so they can add a teacher from another school.

  2. All Tables and Reports in Aeries to use Student ID instead of SN

    It would be so helpful for all tables to use the student ID as the unique identifier instead of School Code/Student Number. This would avoid the need to query the STU table to obtain the ID number.

  3. Online Enrollment - Lock Grade Level Selection

    Since the grade level is set based on the birth date selection, it would be helpful to have an option to disable parents selecting/changing the grade level.

  4. Mobile App - Change the message that parents and students get when selecting Grades icon prior to Gradebooks being created

    When a parent or student chooses the "Grades" icon on the Mobile App, prior to Gradebooks being created at the school, they get a message "Your school has not yet enabled access to this information". Can this message be modified to say "Your school has not yet enabled access to this information, or no gradebooks exist at this time", to help parents and school sites better understand the issue?

    Add a Group Name option for Teacher + Course Title + Period. Also add underscores between the elements so that the Group Name is easier to read.

  6. Pre-Requisites coded in courses and honored in scheduling

    State and/or district defined Pre-requisites for a course are able to be coded in the CRS table and honored via the HIS table during scheduling. For example Alg 1 credit is a state pre-requisite for Chemistry in Texas. We could code alg 1 as a pre-req on the Chem CRS record and when scheduling the SIS would evaluate HIS to determine if the pre-req was met. If not, an error message would pop up when attempting to schedule a student without the pre-req, with the ability to override the error message.

  7. Staff - Inactivate corresponding table records when a Staff record is Tagged Inactive

    When a Staff (STF) record is tagged to be Inactive, also tag the corresponding staff related tables, Teacher table record and security account to also become Inactive. Also do not display on Teacher/Staff lists to copy to and from. Also needed is the staff section and staff scheduling master to become inactive with a warning that there may no longer be an active Primary Teacher.

  8. Make Student Photos available for Custom Report building or Query Report/Labels

    We would like the ability to create custom reports with the picture as an available report item. Or, have the ability to add a student photo to a Query Letter/Report. Same functionality would be great for creating labels too (if we could customize the size of labels).

    Example attached of a "Field Trip Report" that we used to run with Picture, medical alert and emerg. contacts. Would like to create something similar.

  9. Online Enrollment - Offer Russian as a Language Selection

    Add Russian to the "language choices" portion of the online enrollment interface.

    (Select the language(s) parents will be able to choose as an option of viewing the enrollment questions:)

    Our organization has the ability to do the translations.

  10. Add Green Highlight to Start Date in Job Assignments on Staff Page

    Please add a green highlight to STJ.SD on Staff Page since this is a state reportable field. The addition of the green highlight will eliminate campus errors when coding for state reporting.

  11. Please make an option to choose number of weeks on class rosters.

    In the reports section under Class Roster, the only two lengths of time I can choose is 1 day or 1 month. Our grading periods are anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. Would like the option to choose the length when using the class roster.

    When a saved query is opened, show the query name on the screen. If changes are made to the query allow the query to be saved using the same name instead of creating a new name.

  15. UC/CSU Update needed -Semester courses in same discipline

    UC/CSU validation process update needed -Semester courses MUST be in same discipline in order to validate 1 year of credit for certain subjects (i.e. VAPA) Now that CALPADS has added the Content Area Subcategory fields, this can be used to build the proper validations.

  16. Attendance reports to honor reporting home school

    With the new AB 130 requirements in California, we decided to maintain IS students in their own school but link them to their home school by Report Homeschool field on Student Data 2 tab.
    I realized when we run attendance reports, that report will just group students by grade/teacher but not by reporting home school.

    Can we have the attendance reports break out the groups by home schools, too, please?

  17. Color Coding for Attendance Notes

    With distance learning and teachers writing notes for student attendance, the attendance office notes are getting lost. We would like the ability to have a specific color assigned for attendance notes by the attendance office only and teachers to have their own color. This way if we need to locate a note immediately, we only have to look at specific notes. Right now, we can't distinguish them since they are all the same color. For example, attendance office notes could stay red and teacher note be blue.

  18. Allow Districts to determine default values in ADA Make Up creation

    We would love the ability to have our only ADA Make Up code be defaulted when adding the note. We would also like the date in ADA Make Up to be todays date (GETDATE). This allows for quicker data entry for attendance staff. Thank you!

    It would be helpful to allow updating the student email address (STU.SEM) via Aeries API so that we don't have to set up separate SQL accounts for external scripts and services to update STU.SEM.

  20. Favorites Organization

    I know we can add certain pages to our favorites, I was wondering if it's possible to create like categories, drop-down selections to organize favorites so there's no need to be scrolling down and get lost when looking for a specific page in our favorites?
