Allow Attendance Recovery (ARB.TRV) to Display on SBG & GRD Report Cards
Districts using Attendance Recovery rely on the ARB table (specifically ARB.TRV) to track recovered absences or hours. Currently, there is no built‑in way to display recovered attendance totals on Standards‑Based (SBG) or GRD report cards.
Parents, students, and administrators need clear visibility into recovered attendance applied during a term. Districts are currently forced to use custom text/comment fields populated via query or import, which is error‑prone and not scalable.
Requested Solution:
Expose ARB attendance recovery totals (TRV) as selectable report card fields
Allow filtering by term or date range
Support both SBG and GRD report card engines

Activities and Awards – Add 'More Info' Option and Display Inactive Fixed Code Descriptions in Read Mode
Currently, the Activities and Awards page does not have a 'More Info' option to view a record's full details in read mode — users must open Edit mode to see all data elements. Additionally, when a field contains a descriptor code that has been marked Inactive or 'No Longer In Use' in Fixed Codes (such as ACT.PCR Code 03 – IBC Failed, which was removed from TWEDS for the 2025–26 school year), the description no longer displays — only the raw code value is shown.
We are requesting two related improvements:
1. Add a 'More Info' option to Activities and…2 votes -
Analytics Field Value Indicator — Automatically Populate Threshold Options for School-Based Fields Such as STU.CU
What is happening now:
The Field Value Analytics Indicator type requires threshold values to be manually added to the Update Code Table (Table/Field at School = 0) before they appear in the threshold dropdown. For fields like STU.CU (Counselor Number), which reference school-based teacher numbers (TCH.TN), this means districts must manually enter each teacher number as a district-level code entry before the indicator can be configured. There is no automatic resolution from the Teacher (TCH) table. Why this matters:
STU.CU is populated dynamically from TCH in all other areas of Aeries, so districts do not expect to need a separate…2 votes -

Creating a calculated field for “Years Since RFEP”
In order to be in alignment with the state's RFEP tracking, we would like to see a "Years Since RFEP" field that calculates the number of years since the entered RFEP date. This will also help in creating data points to be used by Analytics (dashboards and definitions).

Scheduling Master Schedule/Master Schedule section numbers: add control and/or customization
Customers often want to use the section number to hold and provide information (period, room number, grade level, etc.,) instead of using the unique number assigned by Aeries.
If it is feasible in NextGen, it would be nice if the section number could have options for customization, so that if the customer wanted a system, it would be easier to impose and serve their needs.

Scheduling Exclusions: add (optional) "For this specific Course or Courses" to student exclusion
For Scheduling Exclusions by student, if a student exclusion could be limited to particular Courses, that might actually make scheduling easier. The example provided was for a PE Course. PE would prefer an exclusion, but other courses might not need the exclusion to be honored.

Course Requests Entry on Student/Parent Portal: add options to modify/limit entries
When Course Requests are collected on paper, instructions are provided to the students/parents. These instructions can be more restrictive and granular than what the Student/Parent Portal currently allows for. For example, it would be nice if an "Entry Options" was provided so that the school could set a max number of Primary Requests per individual Subject Area/Department Code. Or if the Course Requests Entry could allow different restrictions on Course Requests based on different Grade Levels and/or other student characteristics. And if specific Subject Areas/Course Requests or all could be available/not available for the Portal Groups to edit (some Course…

Enhance Password Validation
Add functionality to validate a password on insert and/or update to the UGN table. Additionally, check against banned passwords and prompt user if an invalid password is detected. Log the last time a password was validated and do not include it in the "Print Users with Invalid Passwords" report if no changes have been made since that date.
