MST Board- Allow an option to skip inactive sections
Add an option to Skip Inactive classes on the MST Board. We have the Skip TA button, it would be great to add Skip Inactive Classes, we don't always delete inactive sections right away and then the teachers are calling about the inactive ones.

Teacher Attendance - Highlight the Attendance row when selected
In Aeries Gradebook, when you click on a student's name, or hover over the entire row of that student is highlighted/made darker.
Is there any way that that could happen in Attendance? When you hover on a student of when you click on an "Absent", and "N", or even "D", there is no change in the color of that student's row.
I know that for me, it is easier to keep the marks for a particular student specifically for that student if his/her row is highlighted.8 votes -

This idea has been analyzed to be included in future modernization efforts for the Medical component of Aeries. However, there is no decision yet as to when it might appear on our roadmap.

Add a way to distinguish pre-enrolled students for next school year
We are thinking of a way to distinguish which pre-enroll students are for the current year and which are for the next school year. I know we can add a color border for all pre-enrolled but if we can do separate colors for the different years.

Street Address Report by Street Name - was in Client would like in .net
Bring into .net the Street Address Report by Street Name that was an option to print in Client Server but is not a part of .net. This report allows for bus managment and more.

Scheduling Course Request letters via email
Would love the ability to send the scheduling course request letters through the SIS via email to primary contact and students. Currently they can be printed as PDF and handed out to students but with so many students working remotely the ability to send these via email en masse through the SIS so that students/parents get their individual letter would be amazing!

Please add Actual Courses for Placeholder Courses i.e. (Edgenuity, APex or Indepdendent Study) for non Alternative Ed. Scheduling
Would like to see a solution for High Schools who offer online courses (i.e. Edgenuity, APEX) and or use placeholder courses. Currently, High Schools are unable to know the exact course that students are taking via Edgenuity program, which makes it highly problematic to schedule, figure out their graduation status, keep tabs on progress via grading, transcribing.
In looking at current Aeries features there are 2 current functions that get close to providing a solution. The first one is Alternative Ed. Scheduling, however I was told that this feature would not work in a regular comprehensive, as it would throw…

Allow Dynamic Student Groups to be created by SUP fields
In additional to STU fields and Analytics, I would like to be able to create dynamic Student Groups with SUP fields.

DocuSign Integration
If Aeries and DocuSign had an integration (or, if Aeries developed it's own secure, digital signature capture), we would be able to go fully digital with all of our annual documentation.
Aeries Online Enrollment now allows for document uploads, and Data Confirmation supports annual authorizations, but neither of these options solve for required digital signature captures in a secure and approved environment like DocuSign. I would love to support Aeries if they developed one internally, or move forward with supporting an approved 3rd party integration.
The need for this is critical as our model for schooling is evolving to meet…

Make ATT, ENR, STU all pull AP1, AP2 from the same COD.
It seems like some columns in STU are also used in ATT, ENR. Can they pull from the same COD since they basically mean the same thing in each? AP1, AP2, even TR,

Analytics - Watch List - Add ability to filter by Subgroup
Currently a watchlist can only be filtered by School and Grade. It would nice to be able to have watchlists that could be filtered by Supgroup. That way we could have a watchlist of regular ed students and a seperate watchlist for SPED students. Since SPED students are already being serviced through an IEP team we would like to be able to have our regular ed intervention team be able to more easily use the watchlist without having to check whether they have an IEP or not first.

Online Enrollment - Send an Email When Parent Confirms
When a parent is done entering information in the Online Enrollment process and confirms/submits their data, allow the option for an automated email to be sent to the parent so they have a confirmation of the transaction.
We are doing all of our enrollment online and parents call non-stop to ask if we have theirs. It would be very helpful if the confirmation email was customizable so that we could tell them when they will hear from us.

Printable student photos in a variety of sizes
Allow us to make flash cards of our students so that we can learn their names more quickly. The seating chart photos and names are too small for this purpose.

The Aeries Teacher App includes a wonderful matching game to help teachers learn student names. This is available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Let users test drive new features
Our school went to flex scheduling this year and we are still learning about the new features, mostly by happenstance. In the future, it would be great to get to "test drive" how pages, reports and other Aeries functions that are being worked on before they are launched. In my view, it often appears that report changes, functionality, etc, are modified by programmers for ease of use but some of the end user looks are not considered. Current flex sched vs past year's view of attendance attached with notes.

Query - Add Value Functions. (Quick example: Today)
Add value functions where the value would be retrieved at run time. A simple example would be LIST STU ID NM ED LD IF ED <= @@Today AND ( LD = NULL OR LD >= @@Today ) This would make queries a much more viable option for disseminating information in a school district with too many people to train on the intricacies of Query.
