  1. Allow export of Ed-Fi sync logs

    In the Ed-Fi System Initialization and Testing, users have the option to go through endpoint-by-endpoint and sync Aeries records with the Ed-Fi ODS. The resulting logs are often thousands of records long, and the Aeries UI has no way of allowing export of these logs: They cannot be copied or downloaded in any form. The only way I have found to parse them is to download the html of the page and run custom scripts to discard the HTML encoding and compile the error logs. This is frustrating and time-consuming.

  4. Flex Scheduling - Create Section Number Based on Flex Period

    In non-flex scheduling, when creating SMS/MST sections the first number of a section automatically corresponded to the period during which the section was held, based on a School Option. Now when creating sections in Flex Scheduling the section number automatically starts with the number 1 and we need to manually adjust the section number so that it corresponds to the correct period. May we please request that feature be included in Flex Scheduling?

  7. Remove inactivated Counselors from the dropdown

    For schools using staff id-based counseling tracking please do not allow inactive counselors to be displayed in the dropdown menu on the student demographic page. Only active counselors should be displayed in this dropdown menu.

    The CA Dept of Ed is beginning to ask for ASVAB information. They are evaluating it for possible future use in CCI's. Can Aeries create an import routine to import this information into the TST (Test Scores) or CTS (College Test Scores) tables?

    If schools have electronic files with ASVAB scores from both 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school years, it would help speed up the process if you could send them to us so the developers can use them to create an import process. Please open a support ticket, and reference this Aeries Idea #43174887.

    When we have a school marked inactive (happens from time to time when a county school or preschool isn't used for a year) but we want to keep the school number, it would be nice if the school would not appear on the school dropdown selection listing any more.

  16. Generate an email to the parent when documents are successfully uploaded and a second one when the document is approved

    It would be helpful if parents received an email when they successfully uploaded requested documents and then staff could generate an other email when the documents are approved.

    Add a way to upload a picture to a discipline incident. For example if there was a vandalism and we could take a picture of that vandalism and upload it to the discipline incident it is tied to.

  18. Make Online Enrollment Queue Editable

    It would be ideal if we could change items in the online enrollment queue such as academic year, grade, birthdate, etc. Parents make mistakes and there's no way to update the queue. We use this information in our enrollment projections and have to keep remembering when a record is displaying the wrong year or grade. It would also be good to be able to add a note next to the record (which is already another Aeries Idea). It would be great to be able to filter by a grade and see totals as well - this would also help with…

  19. Would like to be able to make schedules visible by grade level

    Our counselors would like to allow current students to see their schedules for next year, but not our pre-enrolled 8th graders who will be 9th graders next year. They don't want to make schedule changes for those students until just before school starts.
