We need more "search" options on the Student Import Page. If we had a field to type the EID enroll id field. EID = ?
Also more "Limit to" options,
If we could add the school number SC = ?

Interventions page currently defaults on for display to parent. Would like an option to select to not show option on page or an option to default this as off.

Grades / Report Card - Allow freeform teacher comments
On the grades page, teachers would like the option to type in their own freetext comments, not limited to dropdown. This should apply to both Secondary Standards Based Grades as well as traditional Secondary Grades.

When importing students from Online Enrollment warn user when required fields are empty
When office staff are importing students from Online Enrollment it would be helpful if Aeries stopped them from saving the student record if required fields are not populated.

The ability to select which Attendance Codes can have ADA Make-Up applied
Currently Aeries allows ADA Make-Up to be applied to ANY all-day attendance code that does not apply to ADA. This list includes: (A,B,D,I,J,K,L,N,O,P,Q,S,U,X,Z)
I’m assuming that this is not the appropriate process since it seems that some of these codes should not be getting Saturday School ADA Make-Up applied. Specifically, the D, L, O, and S codes although there are probably others that should not receive ADA makeup either.
I would like the ability to select which attendance codes are allowed to have ADA Make-Up applied. For example, Aeries will currently allow it to be applied to a student out…

Parent data Confirmation To Be Able To Edit Confirmation Email That Gets Sent To Parents
To have the option to edit the email that goes to parents after completing Parent Data Confirmation. It is hardcoded, however they would like to be able to edit the message.

Online enrollment- Add paperclip or other identifying feature that marks an enrollment as having documents attached
This would allow the people importing the records to know if all of the documents are attached rather than having to open every single record when it really isn't complete without the docs.

SINF - Contact Analysis Flowchart
The current Contact Analysis Flowchart seems to hinder accurately reporting student demographics information to CALPADS.
We would like step 1 to consider IF District Settings have any defined Guardian code(s).
IF Guardian codes have been established, reported contacts should be limited to Contact records using those codes.
IF a particular student does not have any contacts with a CON.CD matching one of the defined Guardian codes, then that student shouldn't have any contacts extracted due to not having the required information entered.

Combine Student Records - Allow Merge From prior Year
Combine Student Records for students with Multiple Permanent IDs from prior years.
ie student perm ID#1 in 2017-18 database combine with student perm ID#2 in 2020-21 database. We must first transfer Student ID#1 to the current 2020-21 database before we are able to combine.10 votes -
Ability to tag courses as available to certain schools only
Please add the ability to offer school-based courses. There are some courses that are only offered at a single school site. These courses should not be able to be used at other schools, even if their grade range is within the valid range for that school.

We need a Special Ed ODS reconciliation
Now that Special Ed is reported directly to CALPADS from our Special ed reporting system it would be helpful to be able to import back to Aeries FROM CALPADS using the Special Ed ODS download and have that populate/update the CSE file.

Data Confirmation Authorizations Receipt Email
Our district would like to see in the Data Confirmation Receipt email that the parents receive to list what Authorizations the Parent either Allowed or Denied.

Add support for 5 digit section numbers
Please add support for 5 digit section numbers. Currently the max is 9999 and some districts have a need to add sections past this number.

Bell Schedule - Copy to Multiple Days
It would be helpful in some situations, such as when schools may fluctuate between schedules due to the pandemic, to be able to quickly copy a single bell schedule to multiple days at once instead of having to set the schedule one day at a time. Being able to multi-select days by either control-click, checkbox, or some kind of "copy to all subsequent regular days of same name" (so all following mondays, or tuesdays, etc as the currently selected day) would be great.

Flex Period Page - Allow the option to choose days/schedules
The flex period page currently shows all bell schedules available. It would be really nice to have the option to choose which bell schedules to add flex periods to instead of the default of having all bell schedules display. I ended up making some of them 6am-6:30am to make them not factor into our school day, which could potentially be confusing.
