Families recording their name in the parent portal so teachers or staff can hear the correct pronunciation of the student's name in the SIS.

That will be awesome and will provide a reference for our Teachers since our school include multiple races and ethnic groups and the name pronounciation is sometimes confusing. Can we also allow them to record their Nick Name (if any) and link it to their Demographics Screen ;)

This would really help teachers on that first day of school and beyond. It would support building strong relationships with students.

This is a feature that is offered in the Synergy SIS and is a great way for students to correctly state their name for teachers or other staff members. By offering this feature, students are better able to feel included in the classroom environment while also avoiding the shame of having their name mispronounced.
