Allow the ability to not choose formative or summative for an assignment.
Some teachers would like the option to have the assignment in gradebook without it being categorized. Another option would be to allow the teachers to hide this detail from students.

Add date and course information to the Summary of Students by Teacher and Period and by Course and Period Reports
We use this report for attendance verification and need it to be able to pull data from a specific date so we can look at it historically if needed. We also need for the course and teacher to be on one report which helps us to find discrepancies during verification. We currently have to go back and forth between the two reports which is inefficient.

Add a filter to the Course Request page for Flex Periods. If there's 10+ Flex Periods, the filter is needed for managing the Course Request page when scheduling a student.

Print Students With Disability Indicator Field report with SSID import
Can the email generated when the SSID report is complete include a report of all STU.ID and STU.CID numbers, with a SWD indicator = "Y". We could then forward the report to our Pupil Services department so they can be aware of new students with IEP's

Attendance Letters Based on Age (Compliance) - Six year old students and older receive truancy letters
The truancy 1, 2, and 3 letters are generated at the school sites. In previous years, we have kept only students grades 1-12 to receive the truancy letters. To stay compliant, we must include students who are 6 years old and older to receive these letters.
Since this would be based on a student's 6th birthday and accounting for absences to generate letters AFTER their 6th birthday.
What would be the best approach or query(ies) to do this since we cannot send a letter to a student who just turned six who is qualified to receive letters... when the student…

In FLEX schools, Mass Change Period Abs. no longer inserts a note if the student does not have a class scheduled during the affected period.
We would like to request that Flex Scheduling Attendance Notes work the same as a non-flex school in the following regard:
In a FLEX environment, Mass Change Period Absences no longer inserts a note if the student does not have a class scheduled during the affected period, which was useful information to have.
In a NON Flex environment, the note adds to all students no matter if a student has a class scheduled or not, during the affected period.5 votes -

The Career Pathways Management Screen is great! But sometimes a screen isn't available to show people and I need to be able to print out this screen. Or a report that shows the same information. CTRL+P makes a mess.

Manage Parent/Student Accounts - add option to hide inactive students and schools
On the Manage Parent/Student Accounts page, add an option to hide Inactive students and Hide Inactive schools. It would be nice to only filter the list to just active students at active schools to find their account if needed.

Send Email - Allow a co-teacher to appear in screen
Case carriers are in the need to send this email list to Counselors and other staff members. Unfortunately, the co-teacher (teacher #2) is not listed as a recipient, and we will like to have them included for easy notifications when gathering for IEP or other student-related program meetings.
