17. Allow 2 character absence codes

    With all of the new absence codes we had to add for Distance Learning and now the ones we have to add for COVID related absences for P-EBT, we have run out of letters and have used almost half of the numbers and really need 2 character absence codes to be allowed in the system.

19. Exclude record from SDEM flag for STF records

    It would be ideal if there was a flag for excluding certain STF records from being pulled in SDEM files. We now have virtually all staff records in Aeries for ParentSquare, which we use for COVID daily screening, and we need a better way to exclude classified staff and sub teachers who have SEIDs. We have more of these than you might think, as many people got a SEID as a sub or they failed a credentialing program and now work in classified roles, like Instructional Assistants or Clerical staff. Right now we load all staff data from Escape (HRIS), and if a staff member has a SEID it matches it in. Right now we go back through and change them to 9999999999 SEIDs to exclude them, but having a flag that would exclude them instead would be ideal so we don't have to change SEIDs back to 9999999999 after we import a file from Escape. This would also be ideal to flag subs to be excluded but leave their SEID in place, just in case we end up needing them for a Census Day assignment when no other Teacher of Record exists. Then we could just unflag them and their real SEID would still be there.
