Classes - Add the ability for Aeries to recognize a future change in scheduling
Currently, Aeries is programmed to treat all changes as immediate changes, regardless of an effective date. This does not work with how school staff efficiently process known changes. When a future schedule change is added to Aeries, the response from Aeries is to drop students from classes they are still in, and this wreaks havoc on attendance, grades, and reporting. Include Legal Name in APIs
We need the students' Legal Names to be included in our API for NIM. Currently, only the Alias and Preferred Name fields are being extracted, which is causing a mismatch in students' Gmail accounts. Student email addresses are generated based on the initials of their Legal Name, but when only Preferred Names are available, the initials often differ—resulting in Gmail accounts being overridden or misassigned by NIM.
It is critical to allow Legal Names as part of the API table options.

Additional Approval Option Button
Please add functionality to mark a Personal Graduation Plan (PGP) as “Approved by Wet Signature” when a parent has signed a printed copy. This option should update campus approval counts in the system so that these plans are reflected in the overall approval metrics, including progress toward the district’s PGP approval goals.

Attendance Management Page Unverified Absence Option
When the 'unverified absence' option is selected, display all codes in all periods and All Day code instead of just absence codes. Selecting the option "unverified absences' should be a filter to limit to students with at least 1 unverified absence code but not displaying only absence codes

CCGI Extract Should Identify Dual Enrollment at the Course Level
Working with CCGI, we discovered that the extract indicates courses with [CRS.CL] = 24 as an 'N' - "Not Dual Enrollment" in the Course File if the associated Dual Enrollment School [HIS.SDE] is not also populated with a school in Transcripts.
While it won't be difficult to populate those records with our school, CCGI suggested that I open a ticket to ask that the extract pull those transcript entries as "Y - Dual Enrollment" by default, with or without the dual enrollment school populated in the transcript.

Scheduling for Alt Ed in Individual Sections
When using Alt Ed for certain sections only, it would be helpful to only see the "Actual Course" box on those sections designated as Alt Ed. We've had issues where non- Alt Ed sections were rescheduled to a new course via the MST, but the Actual Course field still held the old course code, so data in the SEC, CAR and GRD tables was displaying incorrectly.

Save show all terms option in class summary
In the profile page under class summary, is it possible to have it save our selection to show all terms so we don't have to check it every time we go to that screen.

Removal of "NO LONGER IN USE" State Course Codes
There are still "NO LONGER IN USE" State Course Codes floating around in the system. I know not to use them but I think it would be helpful to remove them completely so they are not even an option.

Add Email Notifications When a Custom Table record is submitted/updated
Willits Unified School District created a Custom Behavior Referral table in Aeries to replace our SWIS system districtwide. Teachers now enter referrals directly into Aeries, but there is no way to automatically notify site staff when a new record is submitted. We are requesting an enhancement that sends an email or system alert when a new Behavior Referral is created or updated. This would ensure timely follow-up by administrators and counselors, improve communication, and eliminate the need for manual monitoring. Ideally, notifications could be customized by site, role, or email list, and include student name, date/time, referring teacher, and referral…

Add MST.DLI Field to OneRoster API Output
Description:
Requesting that the MST.DLI (Date Last In School) field be included in the data exposed through Aeries’ OneRoster API. This field is particularly useful for LMS integrations such as Canvas, where tracking student enrollment and attendance history is critical for accurate rostering and reporting.Currently, this field is not available via the API, and there is no option to customize the API output through the Aeries UI. Adding MST.DLI would enhance the flexibility and usefulness of the OneRoster feed for districts relying on automated LMS syncs.

Request for Running Total Discipline Report (DIS Incidents)
I’d like to request a report that provides a running total of all discipline incidents. The current “Students with N or More Demerits” report only pulls from ADS, but I’d like this new report to pull from DIS instead.
The goal is for schools to be able to monitor minor discipline incidents and track students who may need additional support based on their total number of DIS records.

Ability to view a student's gradebook without always first seeing the grades of first person on roster
I would like to show a student what I am seeing in the gradebook for them. But, when I click to "edit scores by student" it always goes to the first person in the roster before I can choose someone else which means it's easy to accidentally show someone else's grade to that student. Would like for that first screen to be a list of kids in the gradebook only.

Inaccurate Dates when Copying Students into Aeries
When copying a student from another school database when the already record exists , the flags and contacts retain the date of the copy date as the updated date.
Per Aeries the system is working as designed but this is a false translation of the information being added/recorded.
Sample one - red flag that was copied from another student states it was last updated by a staff member who has been retired for at least two year but updated date uses the date the record was added vs original date.

Update Special Education 'Refer By' field to support full Calpads code set
Update the 'Refer By' field on the Special Education screen to support the full current Calpads code set or allow districts to add these additional codes using the Code table. This will better support SEIS -> Aeries data imports.

Advanced Red Flag Permissions
Make Red Flag security more granular, by setting on a per-group basis those pages whose red flags different groups / portal groups are able to see, rather than the current "all or nothing" for red flag visibility. Eg, Group A has access to Red Flags on table ATT, cannot see red flags on other tables; Group B has access to red flags on all tables, can see all red flags.
